Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Blick auf den Ätna hat selbst am letzten Tag noch begeistert. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war reibungslos. Leider war es für den tollen Pool auf Dauer zu kalt. Bei über 27 hätten wir wahrscheinlich die meiste Zeit am Pool verbracht. Dafür war der Jacuzzi eine gute Alternative. Ein Mietwagen ist obligatorisch. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Giuseppina, our hostess, was very helpful and responsive to any issues. We arrived earlier than we had indicated and she accommodated well.The property is very nice with a great view of Mt. Etna and the Mediterranean. It is clean and well equipped (kitchen implements, linen, towels, etc.) and has some interesting decorative touches. The landscaping is tidy and well tended.We made great use of the hot tub on the roof almost every night. It was a little cool for the pool, but it looked nice and clean.The only issue is the WIFI is weak upstairs so it was not available in the bedrooms but it was available in the living room and kitchen. Downstairs (where the unit is located) reception was fine.We packed our days with activities and it was nice to return to a nice place for the evening and relax in the hot tub looking at Mt. Etna.

It was a great experience! The views across the bay to Etna were an added bonus to enjoy. The 2 apartments we rented were contemporary in style, well furnished and clean and we were able to use the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with all the items needed to cook and serve food for a large group, but we did need to shop for groceries 15/20 minutes away as there were no stores nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saracena and would return. All our communications with Giuseppina were excellent, she greeted us in person and was a very generous host!

Nous sommes 9 amis qui avons séjourné dans la villa 1 semaine début septembre 2025.La villa se décompose en 2 très grands appartements, chacun composé de 3 grandes chambres et 2 sdb (dont 1 suite parentale)Points positifs : - la vue : elle est magnifique et rend le séjour inoubliable - les hôtes : toujours prêts à répondre à nos questions et faire en sorte que notre séjour se passe au mieux. Des viennoiseries et des spécialités locales nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Un grand merci à Giuseppina pour sa réactivité et son accueil :) - la localisation : proche de Catane/ Syracuse/ Taormina - la piscine et le jacuzzi, avec en fond la vue sur l’Etna Il faut tout de même noter que nous avons du beaucoup aérer l’appartement du bas, qui n’avait pas du être loué depuis quelques temps et qui sentait donc le renfermé.Les chambres sont très spacieuses et possèdent de grands placards.Nous avons tous passé un excellent séjour, en profitant d’une vue à couper le souffle.

Wonderful Stay with Amazing Host

We had a truly wonderful stay! From the very beginning, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality that we immediately felt at home. Giuseppina is an incredibly caring and attentive host. A special thank you also to her son, who shared so many valuable and personal tips about the area – it truly made our trip even more memorable. Magnifique !

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cette villa incroyable. Les 2 logements identiques sont spacieux et ont de superbes terrasses avec vue mer. Les chambres sont très bien. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont très agréables avec la vue mer qui est splendide. Il manque un peu d’équipement comme un grille pain, saladier mais tout est au top

Beautiful home and View

The VRBO photos don't do this house justice as it was quite a stunning property with a stunning view. The host was very sweet and very responsive. The home is quite contemporary with some really nice design features and the pool was a lovely way to cool off after a hot day as was the outdoor shower. We were also quite lucky to see eruptions from Mr Aetna. The only significant issue was mediocre wifi although I'd still give this property and host a 5/5 rating. If I'm back on this side of Sicily I would love to stay here again.

What a view!

Cant beat the view of Etna with beach access and a pool. Its a resort in a quiet neighborhood within 30 minutes of Catania Airport. Guiseppina is a class act host.

Superbe villa

A fantastic house in the sun all day🌅

The house is absolutely wonderful! Fresh and clean with a magical view and sun from morning to evening! Lovely pool and and lying in the whirlpool and looking out over the sea and Mount Etna at sunset is unbeatable. The hostess Guiseppina, her husband and son are extremely nice and helpful; both before, during and after the trip. Safe and accessible and I can highly recommend this wonderful house. If I could, I would come back year after year 🌅🥰

Fantastic house, spectacular view

We rented the whole house (it consists of two seperate flats), so we enjoyed the pool as well as the jacuzzi. The apartments are large, there are several terraces (including one on the roof), and you have a spectacular view of the volcano Etna in the distance. Everything was top notch, the object is in far better shape than the pictures suggest. Our host was very welcoming, always friendly and helpful. Thanks for a superb vacation in Sicily!

The most amazing view!!

We were very lucky to be able to rent this luxury house on such a short notice! The owner is a friendly, helpful woman who was available very quickly for our questions. She arranged a neighbor who helped us with the late check-in, and even helped us in the middle of the night when the electricity failed. The house was very clean, new and more spacious than we expected. (Frankly, the limited information in the ad didn't do the house justice!!) We rented the whole house, consisting two apartments (each containing three bedrooms with double beds en two bathrooms). The house is located directly on the sea and when the sea is calm, there are several places within walking distance for swimming. The view over sea, looking at the Etna, is amazing and at night we enjoyed the view on the lighted city of Catania from the big heated jacuzzi on the rooftop. It was very quiet in the neighbourhood, we were off season, so we had to drive (about 20 minutes) by car for groceries, shops and restaurants. Unfortunately this was a little time-consuming and you definitely need a car. We really enjoyed our trips to Siracuse /Ortigia, Toarmina, Pantalica and swimming in the sea at Costa Saracena. Thank you, Giuseppina, for staying in your house and enjoying your country ....5 nights were to short!

Super séjour

Traumblick und viel Potential

Architektonisch phantastisches Haus mit Traumblick. Sehr hilfreiche und bemühte Vermieter. Allerdings entpuppte sich das von uns vermeintlich gemietete Haus mit 8 SZ und 5 BZ nur als eine Etage des Hauses mit 3 SZ und 2 BZ. Damit entfiel auch die Nutzung der Außenanlagen der unteren Wohnung mit der überdachten Terrasse, oben gab es keinerlei Möglichkeit, bei Regen draußen einen trockenen Platz zu finden. AC fand sich nur in 2 der SZ, Rest des Hauses unklimatisiert. In der Hausbeschreibung ist von einem beheizten Pool (der übrigens mehr auf dem Grundstück des Nebenhauses liegt) die Rede, er hat nicht einmal die Möglichkeit einer Beheizung. Aber das Problem ergab sich in der 2. Woche nicht mehr, da er dann so verdreckt war, dass er nicht mehr nutzbar war. Kein Poolservice, Gartenservice o.ä. vorhanden. Die Außenanlagen waren in sehr schlechtem Zustand, nicht gesäubert, erst nach Beanstandung wurde ein wenig getan. Der Jacuzzi auf der Dachterrasse, Hauptgrund der Auswahl dieses Hauses, war bei unserer Ankunft ohne Wasser, dafür aber voller Dreck. Es wurde sich auf unser Drängen dann darum gekümmert und am 4.Tag war er dann nutzbar und ein Traum. Die Küchenausstattung eines Hauses für angeblich 12 Personen bot 2 (!) Kaffeetassen, kein einziges Weinglas. Das Haus liegt in einer geschlossenen Anlage (ok, nachts war das Tor immer offen und auch nur tagsüber jemand dort), vllt ist im Sommer der kleine Supermarkt dort offen, im September nicht. Bis zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit fährt man ca. 30min. Schlecht funktionierende Abflüsse und häufiger Kanalgeruch waren ein kleineres Übel. Die Vermieter müssen aber hinsichtlich ihrer Bemühungen, unseren Nachfragen entgegenzukommen positiv hervorgehoben werden. Man besorgte uns einen Staubsauger, erlaubte uns einen späten Check-Out und war wirklich sehr freundlich. Nur leider stimmten die Rahmenbedingungen nur sehr eingeschränkt. Also unbedingt im Vorfeld klären, was denn nun eigentlich angemietet wird, damit solche Enttäuschungen nicht vorkommen können. Ansonsten ein tolles Haus mit Million-Dollar-View.

La signora Giuseppina, insieme a tutta la sua famiglia, sono delle persone squisitissime. Non solo l’organizzazione e incredibile, ma sono anche comprensivi, flessibili e sempre pronti ad aiutare. das Haus hat einen fantastischen Ausblick

ein traumhaftes Haus mit einem Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse, einem weiteren Pool (zum Schwimmen) eine Etage drunter und das Meer ist durch Treppen zu erreichen. Direkt an der Felsküste gebaut, d.h. kein Strand dort. Von der oberen Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das Meer und den Ätna. Es gibt insgesamt 6 Schlafzimmer, jeweils mit einem Doppelbett und insgesamt 4 Bäder. Platz ist mehr als genug! Auf beiden Terrassen befinden sich Lounge-Möbel und Liegen... Hier kann man wunderbar seinen Urlaub verbringen...

Villa Parfaite

Les photos sur le site ne reflètent pas du tout la réalité, cette villa était juste magnifique ! Tout est neuf et très propre, deux appartements fonctionnels, il manque quelques accessoires de cuisine mais on se débrouille très bien. Linge de maison mis à disposition. Vue splendide, un bonheur de se réveiller le matin avec cette vue. La piscine était parfaite. Giuseppina est une propriétaire très réactive et très à l'écoute ! Pour la villa rien à redire, PARFAIT! Aux alentours, pas grand chose, peu de commerce, mais avec une voiture on trouve ce qu'il faut. Pas déçue d'avoir fait confiance à Giuseppina... nous y retournerons certainement :-)

WHAT A VIEW!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT A VIEW!!!!!! The property was amazing, and the owner could not have been nicer. For us the property was centrally located, so it was easy to get around to where we were going. The pictures do not do this place justice. Overall, an incredible experience.
