Ubicado al otro lado de la calle del Waterfall Park en el increíble Beachwalk Resort, se encuentra Aquamarine Dream. No dejes que el tamaño más pequeño de esta cabaña te engañe, está llena de diversión familiar.

Ingrese a través del porche con mosquitero que ofrece una mesa y 2 mecedoras para una fácil relajación al aire libre. Una parrilla de gas está disponible para la preparación del almuerzo o la cena. Puede ingresar a la casa a través de puertas francesas que conducen a una sala abierta / comedor / área de cocina perfecta para que todo el grupo se reúna para comidas o juegos. Este espacio ofrece una gran pantalla plana T. V. además de los asientos y la mesa de comedor. El dormitorio del primer piso también ofrece una pantalla plana de TV y se abre al porche a través de otro conjunto de puertas francesas. Un baño completo con bañera de hidromasaje completa el primer piso.

El segundo piso ofrece dos camas matrimoniales y una litera, chimenea, pantalla plana y baño adjunto de 3/4. Hay mucho que hacer y ver, así que empaca el vagón incluido con los juguetes de playa y los niños y dirígete a la piscina del complejo (de temporada), al lago Michigan o al Sand Castle Park para comenzar el día. Todo está a poca distancia, incluidas la cancha de tenis y la cancha de baloncesto. El estacionamiento está incluido para hasta 2 autos en la casa.

Set up worked well for us as a girls trip of 5 with bedding options and two bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Appreciated the golf cart. Would have loved more blanket and towel options. Make sure to bring extra.

We were centrally located in walking distance from Central Park and the playground where my kids could easily play. It was a short walk to the pool and beach hut as well! such a fun trip in a great community

Our whole family (5 people + dog) loved the Beachwalk community! The proximity to Lake Michigan beach was great. It was nice to have a golf cart to bring stuff to and from the beach and clubhouse area. Our kids loved the beach hut, games at the clubhouse, the pool and splash pad, the beach area at Lake Kai, the playground, the fishing piers, etc. The Aquamarine Dream house was in a great location! It was great to have 2 full bathrooms and enough beds for all of us. The beach/fishing chairs were very useful. We never got around to sitting around the fire and making smores but it was nice to have that option as well. We would definitely return! The town of Michigan City has a couple good restaurants and ice cream shops, but you really don’t need to leave Beachwalk other than to get groceries.

A few of the pots/pans were dirty when we arrived. The kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked. The AC on the 2nd floor did not cool very well. The mattresses on the 2nd floor had plastic/waterproof coverings which were not comfortable. There was only space for 1 vehicle due to the boulders protecting the electrical box and the trash/recycle bins for our unit and the neighboring unit.

The location is perfect-easy walking to the pool or to get ice cream, the backyard is a wooded area (HUGE BONUS). We went to the beach every morning. We didn't feel the need to get a golf cart since we were close to everything. The house was clean. It should be noted that the upstairs bedroom is a loft, not a full closed bedroom. I wish the description was clearer as this was a big deal for us with a kid that wakes at every sound. I also think the kitchen could be stocked with more essentials-various size pots/pans, wine opener. We went hiking at the National Park (go to the visitor center and ask for the best spots!), ate at Fiddlehead, Shoreline Brewery, Bridges. We felt very safe at this property, it was very clean, and all the instructions were clear for check in/out, rules, expectations.

The golf cart made getting around easy and fun, and we loved the adorable golf cart parking at the beach. The location was perfect — close to the lake beach, which we visited a couple of times, and everything was so easy to access.The house itself was clean, cozy, and had plenty of space for our family. My kids even mentioned how at home they felt! We cooked all of our meals there and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The management team was great and made everything simple from start to finish.We would absolutely love to come back in the summer!

Our new Happy Place!

House has everything, including a game shelf for rainy days. It is located close to the pool and fishing. (I would stick to swimming in the pool and Lake Michigan. Lake Kai water is a bit grody.) Short 5 min. walk to the beach. It was fun checking out all of the colorful homes. Beautiful sunsets. My teens loved it! Decorated super cute as seen in photos. (Please note upstairs bedroom that sleeps 5 has a "cut-out window" looking over the stairs, not shown in photos, so not ideal for toddlers/young kids who are curious and like to climb. Great for older kids and Girls' Weekends!) Comfortable beds. Both bathrooms are nice. Relaxing porch. Parking in front for 1 large SUV or 2 cars. Beachwalk Resort Customer Service was 5 stars! Look forward to our next trip!

Getaway with grandkids

They were so excited when they saw it! The TV was an added luxury for them. We walked the quaint neighborhood and made out way to Lake Michigan, where they loved looking for rocks. Exceeded Expectations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were looking for a last minute weekend getaway for two families totaling 10 people, not too far from Chicago. I had been eyeing Beachwalk for a few years but never made a reservation. We were able to get two houses with facing porches (Crickets Corner and Beachy Keen) which was the perfect set up. I was pleased that we could reserve for just a weekend, when many places in IN/MI require a week's stay in the summer. The house was very nicely decorated, very cottagey and cute. (Only complaint is the master bedroom hard and uncomfortable with terrible sheets, I nearly slept on the couch...please replace this :) We had a fire pit and grill and a cute wagon to wheel our beach gear to the beach. I thought the location of the house was perfect...a little off the "main drag" by the pool but a short walk to everything. We had a little fountain pond right in front of the house. The resort itself was beyond cute. I loved the natural plantings..you really feel like you are in the Hamptons or some beautiful beach town on the Florida coast. Golf carts were the main mode of transportation to the beach and around the resort. Unlimited paddle boarding and kayaking on the beautiful interior lake was a game changer. And the fishing pier?? Our kids caught fish after fish, and they were big ones. The pool, the tennis and basketball court, the cute coffee shop with the very friendly lady doling out our daily caffeine...these were all highlights. The beach was beautiful. This place is really well thought out. Plus, we got here in under 90 minutes. We are most definitely coming back. It was much better than I expected it to be.

The furniture and decor was mostly new. A few too many pieces of furniture in the small space though. Having a bathroom on both floors was great! The grill and gas fire pit were brand new. Our only complaint is the lack of food storage. There is no pantry. That was fairly annoying. Otherwise, love the house!

Not a Winter or Long Term Rental

Reviewer Comments: I want to note that I rent full a full 6 month last winter and had no problems with another house AND it was bigger and less expensive. I wanted to try a new house which was a huge mistake.Nothing but bad.House wasn't ready.I had to pay moving guys for another 4 hours to wait.Main downstairs bedroom was freezing.About half of the homes windows have severe breezes coming through them.There were days I had to stay upstairs all day because it was so cold downstairs.Had to pay moving guys to come back and move up down and vice versa.Phone wasn't working for 5 days. I work at home so I lost 3 days of work at $980.Nothing was done in regards to a credit.They had Comcast.Instead of adding phone to it, the had an ATT installation, so I had to pay for that too.I had the BW guy come to cleat the kitchen drain.Used a bottle of Drano weekly on it.The beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable.Glad I had my own mattress. Had to put a queen on a full since downstairs was so cold.Towels were incredibly cheap. Went and bought my own.Power went out twice.First was in candles, no was lucky I had a headlamp.Front door handle broke and I needed to get also put some insulation strips in the door since the air leaks were so bad.Dishwasher wheels broke regularly and I had to keep putting it back together.Didn't clean very well anyway.Only used the microwave three times.The last time the door wouldn't close.The front panel was falling off.Sofa was okay.The rest of the chairs were rock hard and not comfortable.Layout downstairs was terrible.The huge dining table had to be pushed into the living area in order to both work in the kitchen and have people at the table.On nice days, it's loud.The kids like to skateboard down the little hill in front of the house.Don't rent this house for more than a weekend.The BW staff was incredible as usual.Not one complaint there. Only praise.
