Esta casa ofrece una gran sala grande, con una televisión de 32 pulgadas de cable extendido, VCR, reproductor de DVD, estéreo con reproductor de CD. La cocina es muy grande, y tiene todos los electrodomésticos, con la cocina y utensilios para servir.
Le encantará el dormitorio principal. Cuenta con una cama King Size almohada, con 19 pulgadas de TV y una bañera de hidromasaje en el baño contiguo. El dormitorio de la reina también tiene un televisor de 19 pulgadas. Esta casa de playa con vista al mar está a sólo 90 pasos de la playa ya cinco minutos a pie de la sala de juegos y piscinas.

Overall good

The owner was amazing! She answered all my questions within a timely manor. She was very understanding and nice! The house was nice and pretty roomy. Very clean. The internet didn’t work but a couple hours the first day we were there. This was devastating to the younger kids. Golf cart was older but did the job. The hot tub was a big plus for my group.

Pros and Cons

I will list the pros first, the ac worked great, very close to the beach, nice size kitchen and the hot water worked great. Now for the cons…. If your looking for cleanliness and modern and nice furniture, then this place is not for you. The porch and railings are in need of repair. Railing is not secure. I had to sweep and mop after looking at everyone’s feet and seeing how black they were from being there one night. I swept up a pile of sand and it wasn’t from us. The mattress’s were not comfortable the second bathroom is very very very tiny and the shower did not work in it. The couch was vey old and not comfortable. We had ants the for a few days until the homeowner got pest control there. There are soft spots in the floor at different places Outdoor furniture was old and dirty. For me, I think when you pay over 2 grand for a week at the beach it should be clean and updated. Maybe my expectations are to high but if you don’t care about cleanliness then this place is for you! The down stairs wasn’t clean under carport either. No gas grill just a old used charcoal grill. Overall very disappointed. It would be nice if it had a covered porch but I knew that when renting it. Very close to houses on both sides. All in all wasn’t clean and very dated.

Location

Very busy at night with golf carts. Loud music and uncontrolled kids and some adults. House is nice but could use some updates. Tammy was amazing to work with.

Budget friendly - Good Location

I almost missed out on this property after reading some of the other reviews. Honestly, I thought it was a great property for the price. No, it's not top of the line luxury but we weren't there to hang out inside. The home was comfortable and functional for our needs. We could see the ocean from the balcony, it had a golf cart, it was a quick walk to the beach and pool if you didn't feel like dealing with the parking, and it had a hot tub. The golf cart works great - we were speeding all over the campground. The king size bed was comfy and my daughter loved the queen bed and shower. I will echo other reviews about the pull out couch - it's not too great but there was plenty of room in the living room for an air mattress. Finally, the owner was great. She was quick to answer questions and always responded promptly to my text.

Ocean Lakes House Close to the Beach is Fantastic!

Absolutely loved it. Tammy is awesome too, fast communication and super nice. I recommend her very highly as a host at any one of her places. Planning on returning next year. I'll detail my favorite parts of the house. It's super close to the beach, just a quick walk away (as is the water park and rec center). The tv in the living room has Roku on it and we enjoyed that a lot. The beds are very comfortable. The island with stools in the kitchen makes an awesome hub for meals/hanging out with family. There's plenty of room in the kitchen area for food prep. The ice maker in the fridge is great. The jets in the master bath are a great supplement to a good soak. The provided golf cart at the house is a nice bonus. We rented an extra one but it meant we were never without one when we wanted it (and there was room to charge both). Very happy with our experience here and made lots of great memories!

Awesome!!

The house was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The hot tub was phenomenal. My fiancé had never stayed at a campground and now he said he will never stay in a hotel again. Tammy made the process go smoothly and was so nice!! I definitely recommend this home!!

Not as described

Upon arrival, we were disappointed. Linens are not an “all amenities included” item, so prepare yourself. Also, there is not enough room for six. The couch is no longer a sleeping option, as all the springs are all broken and the mattress is unbearable. The only privacy between rooms are annoyingly loud and broken pocket doors that you have to fight to open and close. The golf cart that is included with the house is very old and worn out. It broke down and we were left walking for a day and half. After ocean lakes repaired it and brought it back, it broke again after a few hours. The house is in a good location, but is definitely not as perceived by pictures. Will stay somewhere else in ocean lakes next time.

Wonderful vacation Home

When we arrived EARLY we were able to meet Tammy. She was so kind and allowed to us to come into the property early. We are very familiar with Ocean Lakes and already knew exactly where the property was located and it was exactly as expected. When we walked out of the house and turned left, we were only 4 houses from the beach! The jacuzzi was brand new and located under the carport (Tammy explained they moved it) and I was so glad! It was nice to be out of the sun while soaking our sore muscles in the heated water. Everything about this house was perfect for my husband and two teenagers. The location for the price was well worth it! We will definitely book with Tammy again!

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY

As soon as we entered this house we were greeted with a very unclean smell. I also noticed right away that the view of the ocean was clearly misrepresented on the hosts ad by zooming her camera. You cannot see the ocean well at all and the neighbors deck blocks your view almost completely. I also noticed that the hot tub was not "on the sunporch over looking the ocean" as described. The deck is not covered o if it rains, you are stuck inside with very weak cable and Wi-Fi. The guest bathroom can barely fit one person in it and the shower is smaller than what you would find in a camper. Every surface in the unit was covered in dust and some sort of pet fur and there was dust in every corner. The baseboards haven't been wiped in years and even had human hair stuck to them in many places. We finally found the laundry area in the closet of the "master bedroom". The laundry closet floor was filled with old lint from previous guests and there was an old medicine cup on the floor as well. This obvious lack of cleanliness especially during a pandemic had me very concerned. The doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are pocket doors and they are broken and will not close unless you get a kitchen utensil to pry it out. The beds are SO old and SO uncomfortable and the mattresses are badly stained. I was very concerned about bedbugs being present. All of the kitchen utensils, cookware, and dishes were obviously dirty. I wiped the counters and bar stools and furniture down with a antibacterial wipe and my cloth came back BROWN. The sofa is not fit to sit on. There was one recliner that was ok to sit on after we wiped it down so I let my 70 year old mother sit there. The listing says it sleep 6, but it only sleeps 4 because the sofa bed is broken and has dead bugs and dirt and hair all in it and springs are protruding out of the mattress. I had to send two of my kids to stay with our friends at their home. They also booked through VRBO and their rental was AMAZING. I was so disappointed that I wasted over $3000 on our vacation and did not get to enjoy it at all. I called every day trying to get the owner or VRBO to refund my money so we could leave and find a clean place to stay but they refused to do anything to help me. VRBO's book with confidence guarantee is not what they say it is. At night roaches run across the kitchen floor and into a hole in the kitchen wall.

Not as expected

Property needs some serious updating. Bathrooms are really bad. Hot tub did not work. Golf cart quit working last three days of stay. For this price you can do much better. Have been renting homes in Ocean Lakes for over twenty years and this property was the most disappointing by far.
