Unit C was super clean, as described and in a great location. The owner was kind, accommodating and easy to communicate with. Lower bed in bunk bed room was a firm! bed, but sheets and pillows were cozy. The strand and great restaurants were in walking distance. We were happy with Oceanside and our stay……what a great place to visit!

Great location to walk to the beach and downtown area. Good lighting when coming in late. Quiet neighborhood definitely would stay again.

Everything was very nice. The only reason it has a poor review is there is no AC. It was peak heat no matter how many windows were open and how many fans we had going (we ended up buying more fans to set up) it was unbearable inside the unit. Got almost no sleep due to the heat. The bedrooms eventually cooled down late at night but my poor son had to sleep on the couch and the living room never cooled down. I would stay again but not durring summer.

It was a great stay. We stayed in the green door unit. It was very clean and the communication with the property manager was fantastic. Would highly recommend. The one thing I would let people know that the beach that is very close is a rock beach, there is no sand. You will have to travel down the road a bit to get to a beach that has sand. This was not an issue for us, we drove down to harbor beach which just about a 5 minute drive. Worked out perfectly.

The space was cute and had everything we needed for our weekend trip. The unit is walkable to the fun of Oceanside and a short drive from even more.Instruction and communication was all friendly and clear and check-in/out was easy. It was also nice to have a garage to utilize during our stay.

The women in my family planned a week getaway to escape the Arizona heat. It exceeded our expectations. We planned to spend the entirety of our day at the beach and cook dinner each night. There are small stores and a Walmart Market nearby. Everything we needed was supplied. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to the ocean. We had a hard time leaving and I would highly recommend.

This is a perfect little spot just 2 blocks from the ocean. There’s plenty of places within walking distance to get food as well & lots of shops on the main road. No AC so we kept the windows open which kept it very cool but at night it could be a little noisy but you mostly just hear the ocean.

Great Location and Clean

Family (including teens and dog) loved this place. Lots to do within walking distance (walk along the strand, cute cafes, shops). Very clean. Comfy beds. Loved sitting on the balcony, listening to ocean waves.

Visit my daughter who lives in Oceanside

House was great and had everything you needed. Garage parking was great. Location was great. Rules were very strict and put a little damper on the trip.

Ok stay but if you want dog friendly, go to Carlsbad

Property is as listed but it should be noted you aren't allowed to have dogs on any Oceanside beaches. I paid the pet fee happily but was also disappointed in the lack of access and understanding of pets.

Sleep to the sounds of the ocean

Loved how close the ocean is to this property. The beach sand and pier is within walking distance. Nice people in the neighborhood. The owner and property manager are super nice and attentive.

Constructive review

This property was ok and suited our needs. Good location with respect to the ocean: about a block away. The beach that is associated with the ocean access, however, is not really conducive to spending the day on: not a lot of "beach" to set up on for the day, and what little beach is there is wet sand. You can see the ocean from the balcony if you're standing or sitting in the two high chairs provided. The view, however, is definitely not "white water", which in my mind is being able to see the waves breaking. The view is also clouded by plexiglass, which needed to be cleaned, and the chairs on the balcony dirty, so we draped them with the beach towels provided. There were only 2 chairs as well out there, so if we all wanted to go out on the balcony and enjoy the see breeze and what I would call a limited ocean view, 2 of the 4 of us had to stand or drag the shorter kitchen table chairs out there, which are not tall enough to see over the solid part of the balcony. The apartment itself was clean. It was humid, warm weather which made the apartment quite warm and there is no air conditioning in the unit. Running the two fans that were in the closet in the kitchen was a must to make it tolerable to sleep. The small patio area had one older table and 4 chairs, and 1 well-used barbeque: this serves all 4 rentals! The picture of the front of the complex shows 2 garages and a driveway. The other 2 units' garages are in an alley. Plan on adding 1/3 more $ to the base rate in fees.

The property is beautiful and near the beach, coffee shops, breweries and eateries. The only downside was the noise due to construction next door. Will return to this beautiful location once construction is done and noise level is not an issue.

Convenience and beauty

Perfect for me and kids. Walk to beach, super clean and comfy!! Few sand toys and beach chairs in garage. Back patio faces beach and can hear waves all night long 😊Would stay again!

Another great stay!

Our second stay here. The place is clean, surprisingly private even with adjoining units. We enjoy the close proximity to the beach and town, but just offset enough to be away from the busy traffic off the strand. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay! Thank you!

Easy communication with owner, clean, and homey. Although we didnt spend time at the beach, it is in a great location, even has some beach supplies in thr garage 😀

Great location

Property is located on the second story. Check in process is easy, 2 car garage and secured gates with key code provided was a plus. Location is about a 10 min walk to beach access and walking distance to great restaurants. It was nice and quiet no heavy traffic, just the sound of the train but most of the time we didn’t notice it. No AC, we went in June and as soon as windows were open and fans turned on it was a nice breeze. Would stay there again. No issues checking in or out as clear instructions were provided. The only thing I would take are some warmer blankets , just sheets and bed cover provided which worked out.

Beautiful and convenient

Perfect spot to stay and enjoy Oceanside. The corner market and garage parking were unanticipated necessities. Highly recommend! Loved the balcony seating with partial ocean views.

We are local residents of Oceanside. I grew up here and my husband in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We are huge fans of the beach...as are our 2 children. We love to surf, paddle board and spend time enjoying all the outdoor activities that San Diego has to offer. You cannot beat the weather here!

We purchased the 4-unit property as an investment. It was near our home making it easier to manage the tenants who lived there permanently. But, after spending time there, we realized that the neighborhood would make a great destination for tourists. We travel A LOT ourselves and have had plenty of experience renting vacation homes. So, we decided to turn the original home in the front into a prime spot for vacationers as well as have a little getaway for our family too!

Location, location, location! While the place is adorable, completely renovated and a lot of heart and soul put into it...it is also perfectly located in the heart of the Oceanside Beach neighborhood.
