Beach-y 3 habitaciones, 2 baños condominio con capacidad para 8 en el Pirate's Cove Resort! La suite principal tiene una cama King con una puerta privada que conduce a la cubierta cubierta. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama Queen y el tercer dormitorio tiene una litera piramidal (doble en la parte inferior doble en la parte superior). ¡La litera piramidal también cuenta con una cama individual extraíble adicional! Aparcamiento cubierto y fácil acceso con ascensor en el edificio. Tome el sol en nuestra piscina comunitaria. 2 televisores (uno de pantalla plana de 42 "), manténgase conectado con conexión inalámbrica a internet gratuita, DVD, videos, libros, juegos de mesa y rompecabezas. O desafía a tus amigos a un juego en la PlayStation de Sony en la propiedad. Puede refrescarse después de un largo día al sol en su ducha exterior. Vista del canal y muelles. Estacionamiento para 2 vehículos máximo.

Juneteenth

We love spending time with our Marine for the Juneteenth celebration. We look forward to it every year. Next year will be our last Juneteenth celebration but not our last trip to OBX. We enjoy the OBX and Pirates Cove.

A few small issues… but host doesn’t care to help.

We love Pirates Cove but not this host!!! The condo was not clean when we arrived, so we spoke to Pirates Cove and they offered to come clean. However, an owner should take pride in their place and check around before new guests arrive. Also, the elevator and garbage disposal needed some small repairs and the guy at the gate was rude. I’m not sure if it was a racial issue (we were a mixed bunch… indian, biracial, caucasian). We did go ahead and mention this to Pirates Cove as well. l followed up with the host afterwards about these issues and requested they waive the cleaning fee for us (,since OBVIOUSLY no one cleaned before we arrived… Cheetos all over the patio furniture, used scrunchies in the corner.. cobwebs near the door). We definitely plan on staying at Pirates Cove again, but nit quite sure about this particular host.

Didn't Find Treasure at this Pirate's Cove Listing

Positives: location (beautiful neighborhood and convenient to the beach and other area attractions, without the hustle and bustle of KDH and Nags Head), and the cleanliness of unit. Negatives: lots. 1) Outdoor shower was a joke. A cold water spigot under a carport. I've seen better dog washes. 2) Insufficient hot water in the unit. I peeked into the utility closet and noted that water heater is micro, small, and half-sized for a 3-bedroom unit. 3) Technology was not as listed, and fell far short of a warm welcome. Ugh. a) The placard by the TV said, incorrectly: " Showtime Movie Channel Available For Rental Guests." It wasn't. b) Multiple remotes for VCR machine that didn't work. c) No "smart tv" functions such as Amazon or Netflix. It was 1980's technology, if that. d) The promised PlayStation was only good for a paperweight. 4) Decor was very outdated and tacky. 5) The power outlet by the master bathroom sink didn't have the legally required GFI circuit breaker. We could've been shocked (glad we weren't). 6) The hidden fees (service, user fees, resort fees, etc.) weren't evident up front and easily doubled our cost. It was deceptive.

Ladies Wedding Recon Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely property on Roanoke Island. Planning a wedding in 2022 in Nags Head, this was a great location not far from the action but nice & quiet at night. Only issue we had was the VRBO listing said pending even though it was fully paid in advance. Tried contacting the owner several times with no response, eventually called Pirate's Cove & they were helpful & assured me it was booked. Great trip!

Everything was great! The condo was clean and it looked just like the pictures. There was a small leak under the kitchen sink and when I called they were out within an hour. We ate at the restaurant there one night and the food was awesome. I would definitely stay there again.

6/20-6/24 stay

The good far out weighed the bad. So I will start with the bad. The bathtub drain was super clogged when we got there. Before the shower water ever warmed up enough to get in there was 3 inches or so of water already in the tub. Which was gross because if the tub was washed out prior to our stay then they would have know how badly the drain was clogged. The other bummer is on our first night we got a knock at the door from security saying we received a noise complaint. We checked in at 4pm and immediately switched gears to go out to dinner. The knock at the door about the complaint litterally happened within 5 minutes of returning from dinner. So we spent the rest of the week on eggshells that we were bothering someone by simply walking through the condo. Those were the only issues. Other than that the condo was the perfect amount of space. The property dand location was beautiful. We loved that there was a starter set of laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent and toiletries. Other places dont have that little touch. It came in handy until we stocked up on our own. The pavilion and grill were close and the pool was good sized to enjoy and not over crowded. We would definitely return.

Couldn’t be Better

We rented a condo. 6 in our family. We absolutely loved it at Pirates Cove. The amenities are amazing. You are so close to everything. Jeannette Pier is the best place to go to the beach. We will be back.

Nice family get-away

The condo was in a nice community with friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location to nice tourist spots including downtown Manteo and Jockey Ridge state park as well as good restaurants. Good for the price. We enjoyed our stay.
