Excellent short break in nice part of Lancashire

Ideal cottage for two people located in centre of Whalley. High quality accommodation with very generous welcome pack. Well looked after by the owner including very good communication links. We would definitely like to return

Oh so snug

Wonderful cottage! So cute and clean. Good base for venturing out on hikes and visits. Hostess was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Bijou but beautiful!

Small cottage beautifully decorated in the heart of Whalley. Cosy lounge area. Small but perfectly functional kitchen & down stairs bathroom. Bedroom was large & bed really comfortable.. important for me because I am a truly terrible sleeper!

A lovely short break in a beautifully furnished little cottage.

This lovely little cottage is situated at the end of King Street close to all amenities. There is plenty to do in the evening and lovely walks in the surrounding Ribble Valley. A must visit is the remains of Whalley Abbey, the grounds of which are beautifully maintained. Our host could not have been more helpful. There was a well stocked fridge for breakfast things and fresh eggs. We will definitely return if ever we need to use private accommodation in Whalley in the future.

Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring stunning Forest of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales. Lots of welcome treats left by Trisha, who is a thoughtful and accommodating host. We hope to return.

Cosy and welcoming. Everything is of high quality and works! Host communicated quickly when necessary, and the welcome pack was extremely generous. All in all an excellent cottage.

Beautiful cosy cottage

This bijou cottage is perfect in every way. Ideally situated on the main street with a whole variety of excellent restaurants and pubs. There are lots of walks straight from the front door, stunning scenery everywhere. We shall be returning.

Outstanding cottage and host

Delightful location in the center of Whalley. Terrific for local fishing, walks, hikes, runs, bike rides, or just enjoying the surroundings and local pubs and restaurants. Trisha is as gracious a host as they come and truly thinks of everything. A generous welcome package was waiting for me in the fridge such that all of the immediate basic provisions were provided for; not sure if this is typical but it was certainly very thoughtful and much appreciated. The cottage is a delight and beautifully kept. Credit to Trisha, I had a memorable stay. Chris from the US

Snug in Whalley

Trisha was the perfect host - in touch regularly and keen we had a good time. The house is small but has just about everything you need and a few things you didn’t know you needed. Plenty of shops and restaurants near by. A great place to stay.

Unfortunately when checked thoroughly the issue was a problem on the high street which only the utility firm could put right and not in the cottage. I do hope you choose to return to ‘Oh So Snug’ it would be my pleasure to welcome you back

Beautiful snug cottage in a lovely village

The cottage was so cute and decorated to very high standards, gorgeous wallpaper, dressings, and lots of lovely features . The patio area was bright with all the flowers and plants unfortunately the weather wasn’t too bright so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. The village was lovely with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars , most dog friendly . Thank you Trisha for your recommendations and the welcome goodies , would definitely stay again

Really was “oh so snug”

Beautiful little bijou cottage. Lovely starter pack with everything we needed for a late arrival. Very friendly and helpful landlady. Will stay again if we’re in the area.

Lovely week in Whalley

A wonderful property in a great position for cycling/walking and generally visiting the area. The owner is very considerate- her attention to detail is outstanding. Can’t wait to return!

Very comfortable and very neat property

We were made very welcome and the cottage was very Christmassy!! We were left some lovely Christmas goodies too. I would suggest is the name of the property is very descriptive!

Amazing stay

We booked this amazing cottage for three nights and it made the wedding of my son and his new wife, which took place at Whalley Abbey extra special. Amazing place. Trisha was the ultimate host, with a stocked fridge and amazing little extras. Thank you
