This place was amazing! From the moment we walked in it seemed as if we were living on a houseboat; the water view is breathtaking. The house is so clean and truly feels like home with everything you need at your fingertips. I felt like I was sleeping in a good friend’s guest room the whole time.

The cottage was exactly as expected. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely addition. Communication with the hosts was easy and we encountered zero issues during our stay. The home was nicely appointed. It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I.We enjoyed ending our day by the fire pit, enjoying a glass of wine and listening to the waves. We would definitely consider renting here again.

Keuka Lake cottage

The location right on the lake is fabulous. We enjoyed the kayaking and swimming. The kitchen and other appointments are first rate.

Exceptional property and hosts!

This was our second time here and it didn’t disappoint! This property continues to be immaculately maintained in a perfect location for lazy days on the lake. The perfect spot to sit on the patio sipping a finger lakes wine after kayaking around the lake. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything you need is there. A very nice little cottage.

We have mixed feelings about our stay. We love the location. We love how nicely the owners have outfitted the property to make it easy for the renters. The air conditioning is sufficient for the upstairs but there is nothing much to keep the bedrooms cool, other than small fans. The upstairs has eight large windows that face the lake and no blinds on them. In the morning the sun is almost unbearable. There is a rowboat and two kayaks which is a very nice feature. We love the look of the living room kitchen area. The furniture is comfortable and stylish. The appliances are very nice. The bathroom is tight, but very nice. We would like to commend the owners on making it a very nice property to rent but the morning sun issue needs addressing and a couple of ceiling fans for the bedrooms would make a big difference.

Dear Douglas, We have made note of your concerns. All bedrooms have been newly equipped with A.C. units with digital temperature readouts and remote controls. We are also looking into installing some type of curtains or shears along the front windows facing the water. Are main concern is not blocking the spectacular view of the lake, that so many renters love. Sincerely, Dan & Patty

Location Was Great, But Amenities Fell Short

We very much enjoyed the location and everything the property brought to us to do for Lake activities. However, on the inside, the Smart TV was a huge disappointment. It appears that the Smart TV in conjunction with the internet was impossible to use. At one point just trying to turn the smart tv off was an over two-hour thing. It just kept blacking out, freezing, and LOADING. Never ever happened. I did Contact the owner and he told me No Cable was available. I knew that, but the remote to the TV just wasn't working. He gave me directions to factory reset the TV. None of those directions matched up with the TV and the remote. He stated I need to watch the TV from the app on my phone. I am 70 years old, I do not do that. I found that to be very wanting, and not good enough for me or any other Renter. The internet on my laptop worked fine but the Smart TV it wasn't. We moved on, but I figure others should be aware. June 24, 2023

Dear George & Colleen, We are so sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with the smart tv's. We checked all of the tv's, internet connections and remotes shortly after your departure. Everything was functioning in perfect order with no issues. We have not had cable tv for approximately 3 years. This is stated on the website along with the recommendation of bringing a device (Fire Stick, Apple TV, Roku, etc) and your passwords for apps you may want to use on the tv (Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, etc.). Up to this point it has not been an issue with any of our renters. We understand that not everyone is tech savvy, but with 2/3 of the population no longer using high priced cable tv, we made the switch. We put the extra money into high speed internet and state of the art mesh Wi-Fi system. This allows our renters to steam and video conference multiple devices at one time. Again, we are deeply sorry about your frustrating experience with the tv's. Best Regards, Dan & Patty

Very cute place

This little cottage was recently renovated and very cute. The decor was lovely. Our hosts were great to work with. I loved that everything was new and spotless! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful view

Condo has a gorgeous view. Felt like being on a cruise ship your so close to the lake. Condo was well stocked. We cooked most of our meals there and everything we needed was there. Fun using the kayaks. I fished right iff the dock. I guess my only complaint is the steps are steep to get into the front door. We had no trouble, but I think older folks might be leary. All in all we had a great stay.

Peaceful Beauty

My wife and I stayed for a weak. The house is exactly as we pictured, very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and the views of the lake were fantastic. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Would definitely consider going back.

Wonderful!!

We had a great week! The house was beautiful and immaculate! It was decorated perfectly. The location was close to everything you could want like places to eat, shopping, wineries, breweries and more. The sunrises were spectacular! The lake water was crystal clear. We kayaked, used the fire pit, sat on the patio and watched the boats go by. What a wonderful time we had! Thank you Dan and Patty for your hospitality and a great experience on Keuka (Qka) Lake! Perfect getaway

We had such an amazing week. We were so sad it had to come to an end. Dan and Patty are the perfect hosts. Their home is fully updated, has stunning views of the lake, and an ideal location. It was just a few minutes into town to get our groceries and a short drive to farm breweries, wineries, ice cream, and hiking. This vacation was a great way to recharge and connect as a family before getting back into the routines of work and school. We would love to come back for another visit in the future!

Perfect location for a getaway with friends. Alternated between eating out and cooking in because the house is so well equipped. Watched the sun rise overctge lake every morning. Can't wait to return.

Perfect family get away.

There isn’t much to say that hasn’t already been said. This was a perfect place for our family of 3. Our 15 year old loved it , loved the kayaking, loved sitting on the dock, loved the fire pit, loved everything. We will be recommending this place to everyone.

Wonderful experience

Overall we had a wonderful experience. The cottage was beautifully decorated. The outside patio was a great place to relax and watch the boats on the lake. We did not use the fire pit but if would have been a peaceful place to spend an evening. Patty, our host, was welcoming and quick to reply to our texts. And she went above and beyond to set up the TV so we could watch the Olympics. The bathroom was very nice. One of the 2 bedrooms lacked a closet, which meant we had to put hanging clothes in a closet on the other floor. This was an inconvenience, but a minor sacrifice given all the other pluses of staying there. Parking was adequate, but a squeeze for 2 cars. Overall this was a great place with a great host. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a rental on Keuka Lake.
