Stadt Platz se encuentra en el corazón del distrito histórico de New Braunfels en un gran lote comprado a la Compañía Alemana de Inmigración en 1848. Stadt Haus está en el lado de la calle del lote y Spiel Haus está en la parte trasera de la propiedad junto con la litera.

Tanto Stadt Haus como Spiel Haus han sido restaurados recientemente a estilos originales, pero también ofrecen a nuestros huéspedes comodidades y comodidades modernas. La casa, cabaña y litera pueden dormir un total de (18 personas).

Stadt Haus (Circa 1890) tiene dos dormitorios, un baño grande con bañera antigua, sala de estar y cocina con comedor. Los viejos pisos de pino y techos altos proporcionan un ambiente muy cálido. Hay travesaños de vidrieras, ventanas biseladas y una gran vidriera circular en el baño. Balancearse o balancearse en nuestros porches delanteros o traseros. Hay pozos de barbacoa y mesas de picnic para cada casa a la sombra de nuestros enormes árboles de nuez y crepemurtel.

Spiel Haus (casa de campo) es una casa de campo única que fue construida en la década de 1980 con materiales antiguos tomados de una casa original de Falkwerk en la zona. Hay un dormitorio con una cama queen y un dormitorio tipo loft con una cama queen. Debajo del desván se encuentra el comedor con una cocina completa. La sala de estar está separada de la cocina por el hueco de la escalera al desván. Esta acogedora área está amueblada con un sofá cama y TV e internet inalámbrico.

Litera está al lado de Spiel Haus (cabaña) y tiene las 2 literas. Litera sirve como dormitorio extra, no tiene cocina ni baño. Spiel Haus está a unos 10 pies de distancia para usar el baño.

Los jardines están vallados y ajardinados para ofrecer a nuestros huéspedes belleza natural y comodidad. Ducha exterior con agua fría y caliente. Stadt Platz está a media cuadra de la famosa plaza y al otro lado de la calle del Market Platz original de New Braunfels. Puedes caminar dos cuadras hasta el Comal River & Tube Chute, 3 cuadras hasta Schlitterbahn, o restaurantes, bares y tiendas en el centro de New Braunfels. Tom was a great host, helped me adjust my reservation as needed. Check-in & out super easy. We had all amenities needed. Being able to gate the entire property was helpful allowing the kids to safely go between the cottages and my dog to roam freely. Highly recommend!

We came to New Braunfels for my daughter’s bridal shower. We had a great weekend, the house is very spacious with rooms in the main house and rooms in the outside cabins. The outdoor seating was great and spacious for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The location was amazing. Everything we had planned was within walking distance. The owner had great communication, and was extremely helpful. We will be back!!!

Very nice piece of property close to downtown in the river. Rustic cedar and stone home – had a great time. The owner was prompt to reply to inquiries, and all of the documentation was clear and concise.

We had a wonderful stay at this home, it was perfect! Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. We appreciated the small details throughout the house; they added a special touch and made it feel cozy and welcoming. The decor was charming and perfectly suited the home's style.The location was quiet yet close to everything we needed. The A/C worked great, which made a big difference during the warm days. One of our favorite parts was the large outdoor gathering area, which was the perfect spot to relax and spend time together.We’d stay here again. Highly recommend!

Really Great Location

Great location, parking is convenient, and the property manager was extremely friendly and responsive. Very good stay overall with only minor inconveniences. The lower heating element in the oven was broken, so we just used the broil function for everything. Either the bed frames or box springs were broken on the beds, so they were all leaning one direction or another. Still, overall it was a great location and we had a great time.

Cute but too expensive for what was offered!

Great location! Group of 9 stayed, huge shout out for providing enough towels (I find these type of rental properties never have enough towels for larger groups)! Great check-in/out process. No outrageous cleaning requirements at the end. The outdoor area is great & being able to shut the gate to the property was nice, lots of parking! So things of note though: 1. The oven cooks slow. 2. There's no dishwasher. 3. The a/c is not adequate for the house. 4. The front bedroom in the main house on the right side of the living-room, is HOT. No airflow in the room at all. Needs window unit. 5. Cleanliness was average. 6. Most importantly, the BEDS were AWFUL!! Lumpy & hard as a rock! 7. The back house with only beds, really needs a bathroom. 8. The cost was really expensive for the what was rented.

Wonderful, unique, great location, perfect for larger groups

We stayed here for the 2024 solar eclipse – a family reunion with eight of us in total. It was ideal for us and we had a perfect time! The property has three separate units (buildings) of varying sizes and configurations, which gives you a lot of space and flexibility with sleeping arrangements. At the center of the property is a large patio/courtyard that serves as a good gathering spot, especially in warm weather. Before our trip we didn't know much about the town of New Braunfels, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the property is within a very short walking distance of the town center, making it extremely convenient. We enjoyed being able to easily walk to the farmer's market, bakery, coffee shop, beer hall, and so on. New Braunfels is a very charming, friendly town and we would love to come back. We also appreciated that they left some eclipse glasses for us to use – that was a nice touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantastic location and vintage charm

Our large group of nine plus two dogs took advantage of the entire property. The location is super and the host was great. We enjoyed our short stay -- thanks Tom!

Great place for a large group!

Great location! Walking distance to a bakery, ice cream, coffee shop and restaurants. Centrally located to everything we drove to, as well. Lots of room out back where we hung out most of the time, it was perfect. The property is old and historic, which we appreciate.

Great location & charming property

The location of this property is perfect if you plan to float the river or visit Schlitterbahn!!! The back yard area was perfect for our girl, Irie - she loved exploring all parts of the yard. Parking was great and we loved that there were several areas to just sit and relax outside - the party lights strung from the trees were beautiful at night. The boys enjoyed the outdoor shower, and I loved the stained-glass window in the bathroom of the main house. The houses stayed cool, had beautiful architectural features, and comfortably fit all 11 of us. The houses were very clean & inviting. My only suggestion is that the bunk house & main house need a little TLC. The bunk house's door does not seal all the way and the tub/shower combo in the main house did leak a bit when draining - not a big deal, we just dried the floor when finished each day. Lotion, soap, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner, dishes, kitchen utensils were all provided. The fridges worked well and the microwave in the main house is brand new. We did not use the ovens/stoves, we did not want to cook on vacation. The cottage out back was pretty much perfect - furniture was very comfortable. Our host, Tom, allowed us to check in 30 minutes early which was so appreciated as we had a very long drive, and it was a hot, humid day. There is a bakery pretty much right behind the house and a coffee shop right around the corner - all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Good for big groups

We enjoyed our stay but the condition of some of the house wasn’t great. The bath tub in the main house wobbled and felt very unsafe to stand in. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for the price wish some things like the bath were fixed/maintained better.

Perfect location!

We had a girl’s weekend in New Braunfels with 12 women and this was a great property for our stay! We were able to walk everywhere - restaurants, bars, shops, the river! Everything was so close and easy to get to. The owner and property manager were very easy to get in touch with and super helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you have a larger group!
