El condominio Tides está ubicado directamente en la hermosa playa de Hollywood. Edificios gemelos de 16 pisos se levantan en la playa con dos piscinas climatizadas, dos gimnasios, cine, yoga, spa, cafetería, salón, billar y servicio de valet las 24 horas. Exuberantes jardines tropicales tienen 4 cabañas tiki, áreas de salón al aire libre y acceso directo a la playa. Las espaciosas unidades ofrecen balcones con frente de vidrio, vistas al océano y al interior de la costa. Westin Hotel & Resort está ubicado al lado y el complejo está ubicado en el centro del distrito de entretenimiento Hollywood Boardwalk, el complejo GulfStream Horse Racing Casino y Adventura Mall, todo a solo unos minutos de distancia. Esta unidad está ubicada en el piso 11, en el lado norte para que pueda ver el amanecer y el atardecer desde el balcón.

Great location, checkin was a little long and the property people were not very friendly. Thats really all the negative we had for our stay. The property was clean and the apt was very well stocked and there was plenty of things for the beach in the closets. Beds were great. Slept very well. Not a lot of noise. Great Views. We would certainly stay again!!!

I requested ocean front. In middle of city. Not enough linens for 6 day stay. Parking fees higher than on listed. All in all not a pleasant stay at all.

Nice area and beach

The condo itself is older/dated along with the furnishings, but! It has everything you need, it was clean and the beds are comfortable! The building is dated too and the gym could use some updating as well but, it was nice to have something. The pool is nice, right on the beach, cute little coffee shop and in a good location! For the price, certainly a great deal! It’s about a 3-5 min drive to Hollywood Beach Broadwalk which was a lot of fun! Lots of restaurants, shops and live music.I saw a lot of complaints about check in before we arrived, but we had no issues. Just see valet first before you go to check in and bring your whole party to get wristbands. I also saw people complaining about bug problems but we had no issues in our building or unit. The hosts were very accommodating and had a good response time! Thanks for a good stay!

Property Managers are awesome! The condo is awesome! People at the front desk are not very friendly, rest of the staff is not the friendliest, but it is worth staying. Between the Condo, Property Manager you work with it is worth it all.

Vacances en famille

L'appartement est parfait pour une famille, avec ses 2 chambres et 3 lits, 2 salles de bains, cuisine complète et fonctionnelle. La vue sur la mer et sur le canal à partir du balcon est excellente. Accès à la plage et mer à partir de l'hôtel. Le point négatif est l'accueil qui se fait au receiving administration est complexe, nous avons cru que nous devrions trouver un autre hébergement tellement c'est complexe.

Good stay

Overall it was good. Condo was clean. It was late when we arrived so registration was closed. It was difficult and stressful. Description advertised 2 chairs and an umbrella at the beach but you had a buy a voucher at the registration office. Service elevator was down and at certain times of the day you had to wait a while for a ride down to the lobby.

The reviews said everything was with8n walking distance. Everything is at least 1.5 to 2 mile walk. We also disnt have enought.p. in our place or papertowls . Only 2 wash cloths per bathroom. 1 for each person for 5 days. For as much as we spent you would think they would leave you enough for the wk. Also the key ards were $30 each instead of $20 like they quoted us.

Honest Review

Ok people, here’s an honest review of the condo, from someone who stayed here for a solid week in July. Let me start with the pros. This condo is clean, and in good shape. It shows a little wear, but so does my house. It is very well stocked with towels (beach and bath) and plenty of blankets. The beds are comfortable and we easily slept all 6 of us, although our youngest made up a bed on the floor since they didn’t want to share. The keypad to get into the unit is easy to use. The pool area is very clean and was never crowded, we were always able to find a chair and the kids enjoyed the pool. The beach area was also never crowded, no matter what time of day we went down. The unit comes with two beach chairs, an umbrella, toys for the kids, even a small cooler. There is a little cafe just off the lobby area, great for a quick coffee, and also convenient to grab milk and toilet paper. Walmart is really close for grocery purposes. Cons: The check in process is a bit of a hassle, but as long as you expect it and have patience, it’s fine. Be sure to get to the office by at least 4:00 to check in and bring your whole party so they can get the bracelets to access everything. There need to be instructions on how to lock the keypad and also checkout instructions. Some things I would recommend- A toaster A pair of scissors A net for the kids to catch fish New pillows for the master bedroom Overall I give it 4 stars. We had fun.

Great location for fishing & beach

Great communication with owner/manager when needed. Place was clean and comfortable. Nice little deli on first floor for breakfast/lunch and also sold wine/beer. Quick Uber ride to Walmart for supplies.

Great overall vacation experience

This property is a great value for the area. The beach is fantastic and the unit comes with 2 beach lounge chairs and umbrella, set up daily by an attendant. In the unit was a wagon, extra beach chairs, boogie boards and toys. Many other guests were jealous of our wagon! The complex was clean and well managed, with no wild spring break college groups to deal with. Definitely a peaceful family atmosphere. The view of the intercoastal and ocean are great from the 11th floor unit. It's not super fancy and the unit/complex is a bit older than most other properties in the immediate area but it's also priced 3x's or more lower than most condos nearby - and the beach/ocean are the same! The pool area was clean and well maintained and the water was bathtub warm. We did not rent a car and had reasonably priced uber rides to nearby restaurants - including up to the Hollywood beach boardwalk which is exactly 2 miles north of the complex. My family had a wonderful vacation and would book again.

Disappointed

We were very disappointed in the condo. The floors were very dirty and there were little black bugs in the bathroom and the one bedroom. I have never slept on beds and pillows that were so uncomfortable. The doors were dirty and beaten up. This condo was not worth the money. The shower curtain fell down twice and on the last day the hood over the stove fell down on one side. The property is not in walking distance to any restaurants so you need a car if you are staying there. There are a lot of extra charges for everything. We enjoyed the weather and there were fun things to do but it is an extremely busy area. The ocean view was beautiful and there was easy access to the pool and beach. However, I would not stay there again.

Christmas Vacation

We spent the week after Christmas here. Checkin was easy and everyone was very nice. The location was perfect, right on the beach and near everything. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beach chairs and wagon came in very handy. We would stay here again!

Disappointed !

Upon entering this condo, I was hit with a strong, horrible musty/mold smell. It was nauseating. Then, noticed buckling of one wall and shabbily repaired wall in the bathroom. Looks as if there was a water problem. Then, the vents were black with soot. In the second bedroom, the ceiling was black above the vent. I took pics of it. We also had a locked closet presumably filled with amenities such as toys, beach chairs and umbrella? Check in was a bit crazy because they couldn’t get their portable CC machine to work. Then, having to go to the other tower for parking validation was very inconvenient. It is not a smooth process! They (The Tides) also turned off the water, without any notice as we were getting ready for a family wedding. Nothing like bathing with bottled water. Another disturbing aspect was that the cleaning person came in as we were leaving and she brought in two rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, a garbage bag and one pod for the dishwasher.- which is all that give you. She remade the beds that we slept in and didn’t change the sheets🤢 A family member rented a completely renovated 2 bedroom/bath condo, in the same complex that was impeccable and I paid more! The view was great as was the location. But this condo was such a disappointment and maybe the health department should be notified.

Do not stay here

First of all a security deposit was included in the price which I didn't get back. Second, upon arrival not only did I have to pay more for parking then I was told for 3 days but before we even checked in I had to pay an additional cleaning fee and then more money for the keys then what Iwas told. I was told that I would get a portion of that back and I never received that either. I ended up paying hundreds more than i thought and I never got any of my deposits back. Not to mention that this place is pretty much falling apart at the seems. Do not go by the pics because I promise you, it is not that nice. I do not recommend and I will never stay here again. #completelyrippedoff

I should have read more of the reviews before we booked. Slats on bathroom blinds were still missing, man downstairs banged on his ceiling when we weren't noisy, and check-in process was a hassle. We received a message about the extra fees which were annoying but it was too late to cancel by then. The laundry situation was not ideal. People try to 'hold' the machines so no one else can use when there are only 2 available. Area is nice and the beach was great!

Family vacation

Reserving the condo online was simple and easy. The pictures were pretty much what you get. Would have liked to see more pictures beforehand. The tub was smaller than expected for my 6'3" disabled son to get in and out of. More items in the kitchen would be helpful (towels, pot holders, wash cloths) as well as extra garbage bags and dish washing tablets. Only two for a week is not nearly enough!! As mentioned in other reviews, the check in process is horrible! We went to our condo to check in, and was told had to go next door. NOT an easy process as you have to get back out on the main road do a U turn go back down the road and do another U turn. Checking in took at least an hour. With no where to park out front. It's crazy!! We were aware of the extra charges when we got there, but there is no reason this could not be taken care of in advance. Loved the location as it was close to the pool and beach. Too much traffic and very little places to eat close by. Nice clean area, but very busy. Loved our view of the ocean and the bay, but chairs could have been a bit more comfortable.

Clean but needs updating

PLUSES:: Property was very clean. Balcony had a great view. It was also nice to have beach service, two chairs and an umbrella included with the rental. MINUSES: Refrigerator was old and water was leaking onto top shelf. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. One of the chairs was broken. Master bathroom vertical blinds were missing slats. Second bathroom one wall was all buckled and looked like mold damage. Balcony furniture was so uncomfortable you couldn't sit there for more that five minutes, which was a shame because it was a terrific view Check in was not smooth. We got there late, which was OK, but the next day we had to wait for someone to bring us the keys.and he was an hour late. Then go to the next building and pay for the fob., and that was really slow. Entire morning was shot. Cleaning fee should be included in the VRBO fees.

None biased review

Positives 1. Pics where accurate 2. Location as shown in pics 3. Easy access to beach and pool. 4. Clean apartment. Negatives 1. Check in process is hectic. They take you to a place in the building where you pay for the parking pass and demand the cleaning fee right there (cleaning fee is hidden in description and not charged to your total) They only take cash or some kind of cash app for the cleaning fee. 2. One of the toilets wasn't flushing. When I contacted property manager afterwards cause we used one bathroom. Instead of just apologizing she said "current person staying there says it works" even though I showed the person checking me out it's not working. 3. Condo needs updating. One of the blinds shuts half way. It was broken. Also when I said this to owner she was arguing that no one can see us. Bathroom blind handle is rusted. No valet due to covid yet. parking. Fee as well in the description. So watch for that. Access from parking lot straight to building isn't quick. No elevator if you park on the roof of parking lot. Tough if you have kids and stroller.

The unit has a wonderful view : intracoastal & ocean view and we can see both the sunrise and the sunset. The condo has direct access to the beach without crossing any street. The pools and the garden landscape are ones of the most beautiful in the area.

Take the elevator and you are in the garden and pool area, just open a gate and you are on the sandy beach. No need to drive to enjoy the sea and the beach.
