The village remained calm even on warm nights when windows stayed open. Kitchen appliances all did their job,oven, stove, dishwasher,all performed reliably. Rooms were neat with beds providing firm yet restful comfort compared to other rentals I’ve seen. The pool size fit perfectly for cooling off after exploring town.

Good size well equipped property. Excellent swimming pool, good size bedrooms and living areas. Drive is open to a road into town so people passing can see you by the pool. Was an issue with wasps in upstairs bathroom and this was reported. Minor comment on pillows that could be improved.

Once we checked in, we unpacked by the fridge and enjoyed looking at all garden furniture. The kitchen had essentials including microwave and toaster. Upstairs bedrooms were quiet for good sleep while downstairs gave lots of room to eat or relax. At night, lit garden lights created an enjoyable way to spend time outdoors easily.

De eigenaar Sophie was zeer flexibel omdat we eerder zouden arriveren dan de inchecktijd van 17.00 uur, top! (overigens vinden we incheck vanaf 17.00u en uitcheck voor 10.00u wel erg krap, je mist in feite 2 dagen) Het traditionele huis lag fraai, ruim uitzicht, redelijk rustig langs een dorgaande weg naar het dorp, De aanwezige borden, bestek, potten, pannen etc. etc. waren zeer ruim aanwezig, heerlijk. Zeer ruimte complete keuken (mét Amerikaanse koelkast). In de beschrijving stond niet dat er ook een senseopad koffieapparaat was.Wij hadden een kamer op de eerste verdieping en de andere gasten sliepen beneden.Soms was het er echt te warm (geen airco maar wel grote ventilatoren) dus o.i. zou een airco en enorme plus zijn om er weer terug te keren. Prima bedden, ruim voldoende grote en kleine handdoeken, prima bedden.Mooi buitenterras met zicht op de grote tuin. Mooi zwembad met een te verplaatsen overkapping (dus altijd schoon). Tip: de informatiemap zou m.i. wat uitgebreider mogen. Nu beperkte tekst en verder heel veel folders en flyers. Gewoon meer praktische info zoals waar zijn er supermarkten, waar kun je tanken, waar zit een apotheek, tips voor restaurants (hebben we vooraf gekregen op ons verzoek), Dus wat extra A4 blaadjes met info is zeer welkom. Kortom, we hadden een prachtige vakantie, mede dankzij de zeer vriendelijke Sophie. We komen zeker nogeens terug!

Die Lage der Villa ist ideal, um die Dordogne-Region zu erkunden. Wir haben Tagesausflüge zu nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten unternommen und sind dann zurückgekehrt, um uns am Pool zu entspannen. Der Kühl-/Gefrierschrank war ein Pluspunkt, um unsere Getränke kalt zu halten!

Der private Pool war ein Highlight für unsere Familie, besonders nach einem Tag voller Entdeckungen am nahegelegenen Fluss Vézère. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, sodass die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten problemlos möglich war. Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien!
