Pine Cove 304 es una muy bonita unidad de esquina de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños en el piso superior. Esta propiedad bien equipada tiene un baño principal de mármol, bar húmedo y es muy espaciosa. Planifique su día con su taza de café por la mañana mientras está en el lanai con vista al hermoso Golfo de México. Puede pasar sus días recolectando conchas en la playa, nadando en las tranquilas y cálidas aguas del Golfo de México o disfrutando de la piscina climatizada y el spa. Return to sanibel after 4 years

Met with family for golf, pool and beach to finally see our beloved sanibel.Property was well maintained with beautiful pool and view from our lanai.Biggest issue was first night when master shower was clogged and leaked below to neighbors bath.She persisted in ringing doorbell at 12:30 and calling property manager and others; we were asleep and didn’t know it happened)!It was repaired next day ( hair clogging drain) but owner below was not very cordial or polite in handling situation.Kudos to Michael who manages property and Linda at rental agency who were very helpful and kind.Sanibel is still recovering from Ian , Small midges were biting and red tide rampant the two weeks we were there

The only thing it needed was beach equipment that wasn't so old. We ended up renting a 10 x 10 tent for the beach. Otherwise it was great.

Love Pine Cove...but unit needs a makeover

This particular unit is due for a makeover and I understand that will be happening soon. The master bedroom mattress definitely needs replacing in addition to general updating of the entire unit. None of these issues, however, prevented us from having another great stay at PC.

Reviewer Comments: Property was clean and a great location but we did not have enough beach towels for our party of six nor were we provided more then the toilet paper on the rolls. Had to purchase both items. Select Vacations never returned our phone call, which was left with their answering service on our arrival day. They were very defensive about our issues and only offered excuses; very poor customer service.

Location and lightness

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at Pine Cove #304 more than a few times over 5 years or so. Although it is close to the public beach path and the beach was very crowded for a few days during the Memorial Day holiday, after things settled down (i.e. Tuesday), it returned to feeling like it was a "private" beach. There is something about its location on West Gulf Drive that makes for an easy access to biking in any direction. It's also an easy drive to anything on the island (i.e. stores, theater, etc.). I especially enjoy how light and bright it is in the main living area. The many windows for the expansive lanai is a major selling point for me. If there is one recommendation I would make it is to remove the dried/silk flower arrangements that are in almost every room. They aren't needed to fill spaces and in fact may detract from the enormity of the condo. There were a few repairs to be made as the ice maker did not work and the dryer for some reason took hours to dry items. The ice maker that I called about on Sunday was fixed after 2 visits by a repairman - the first being on Tuesday and then another visit on Wednesday. As for the dryer, I managed with allowing lots of time and resetting it plus called Select Vacations after I got home. Since management had gotten the ice maker fixed, I have no doubt they'll get the dryer up to speed for someone else's stay. I would/will book this condo again.

A week on Sanibel Island

The condo is spacious and in a very good location with ready access to the beach. The pool is fairly small but was never over crowded. There’s a nice pagoda area around the pool which was a life saver considering the heat. All pavement and surfaces were burning hot. My only complaints about the unit are the master bed mattress which is some sort of foam and incredibly uncomfortable to me. Also big foam pillows which are not my thing. The TV’s had poor sound for some reason. There’s no cabinet with basic staples like oils, seasonings, etc. So even though we cooked a lot, every single thing has to be purchased and I assume everything we would have left would have been trashed. So we through our almost a full bottle of simple syrup, for example. There were only four rolls of toilet paper in the unit for a week which seemed kind of silly considering the price of the unit. All that said, the view was gorgeous and the unit lovely.

Perfect location to get away from it all!

Beautiful 3rd floor unit with a perfect view of the pool and gulf. Very quiet. Undercover parking. Condo units surrounded by tropical vegetation and trees which makes it feel like you are covered by a jungle. Grounds were perfectly maintained as well as the pool and hot tub. Private boardwalk down to the beach. Loves the resident woodpeckers and iguana who stopped by to say hello everyday.

A Perfect Much Needed Vacation in Paradise

All of our needs were met. The lanai was gorgeous as was the view. The pool and hot tub were amazing and we enjoyed the grill. The accommodations were very comfortable and the location was absolutely fantastic. We vacation on Sanibel every year and this was by far one of our favorite spots. The water was stunning and warm and the shelling was fantastic as always. We had such a great time! We will be back!!

Beautiful property, conveniently located

The condo is beautiful, with 2 covered parking spaces, beach chairs/umbrella in the storage unit, 3 usable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen, dining area and living room face the scenic, relaxing ocean view and the pool below the balcony. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking paraphernalia, which we used often. No kettle though, so we boiled water for French press in a sauce pan. Bathroom are big, water pressure great. Bedroom are huge, with comfy beds, lots of storage and generous ventilation. The unit is very well ventilated, with shade provided by the wrap around porch, and is cool and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are clean and comfortable, open 9am to dusk. The complex’s is a short bike ride to the grocery store, many restaurants and bars, as well as shopping. Two bike rental places are a short distance away - we rented from Finnimore - easy, convenient, fast and cheap. Overall we enjoyed our stay, kids loved the beach and pool, and were able to be mobile and independent much of the time. Just a few suggestions - lights do not work out on the porch, bedroom lights do not work via wall switches - one must turn the bedside lamps on for lighting. Lighting wise, the unit is a little dated and Needs some attention.

I found this property and Patience was the contact person at Select. She was very helpful and "Patient" I was indecisive and the dates kept changing. She hung in there and we were quite satisfied with the property. I found it to be comfortable, well appointed and pretty. The location is beautiful and well maintained. We had some issues with mother nature but, that could not be helped. Over all we would recommend this property and would stay there again.
