Perfect Honeymoon Spot

Super cozy room with all the necessities and just minutes from the beach! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and location is great!

The closeness to the beach was awesome, small stores and restaurants in the area were great.

We had a great time. We enjoyed our stay. There was quite a bit to do right there.

Great Beach and Shoping Location

Great spot to Waikiki places and buses. Hotel was nice, especially the sundeck. AC was noisy. RRoomRsmsmallsbuadequate.

Just what we needed

Was looking for a place to stay while visiting family. It was just right for that - we did not go to Hawaii to hang out in hotel so while it was not fancy, it served our needs perfectly

Great stay, great location. Love talking with the host and reminiscing about the neighborhood. He went above and beyond mailing me something my daughter left behind. Would recommend and stay there again

Week in Paradise

This property was perfect for our stay and 2ithin walking distance of many things. The only thing I would say needs work is the lighting and maybe hang the tv on a wall so it can swivel.

Nice room and perfect location!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The room is clean and it's perfect size for two of us and we appreciate the extra towels provided. What we love most is the location! it's blocks from Waikiki Beach and across the street is Honolulu Zoo. There's a bar/club and fast food restaurant in the building which is a plus! Everything is just walking distance: shopping, attractions, bars, food, beaches. We would stay here again and I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

I was impressed by the employees friendliness and helpfulness. The apartment left plenty to be desired. The room had no clock, very few electrical outlets, too large of a bed and no scenic view.

Location and staff excellent! Several problems with room. Stove top didn’t work, internet went out for a day+. No outlet in kitchen area-had to use coffee maker on night stand.

The room advertised was not the same room we were given.No internet servive in the room during the entire 12 day stay. We didn't know we woupd not recieve housekeeping servive. We washed our linnen and towels in the coin operated washers and dryers.

Nerve wracking check in

My advice is to print out your confirmation before checking in. I don't know if the person at the desk had a Terrible day, but he stressed me out telling me things like I had no reservation, my dog couldn't stay (I paid for 5 nights for the dog), and being argumentative and unhelpful refusing even to give me the name of the person I booked with to help me find the confirmation faster. I am the full-time caregiver to my husband and with him and a frightened dog in tow it was a nightmare.

Great location! We would definitely stay again.

Mark and his team were great! Replied to all of our questions promptly. Our flight was delayed and we arrived quite late, but that wasn't a problem as Mark met us there and had set up our parking for the night as we were worried about that. The room was in a great location across from the zoo. A quick 2 minute walk to Waikiki beach. The bed was 2 singles pushed together (like on a cruise ship) to make a king bed, but was very comfortable. A small bar fridge, so you couldn't do a big shop for the week if you were going to cook in all the time, but it worked for us. There were beach towels and an umbrella that we used for the beach. Great laundry room down stairs that was very inexpensive. My only complaint would be that the room needs blackout curtains. It's quite bright in there all the time. Other then that, we really loved it and would definitely stay again.

The location for us was excellent. The overall building was very nice. The condo was sub standard. Extremely nosily air conditioner . The screen on the window was torn, so opening the window (with the birds in the area) left us uncomfortable with doing that. The picture looks fine, but we never used the hot plate. After blowing the power bar fuse a few times (which the microwave and fridge were on the same circuit) We decided that that it would be better not to use the hot plate. To use the microwave, we resorted to turning off the fridge prior to usage. The plumbing system for the kitchen sink and bathroom basin backed up (we did nothing wrong).. Hats off to the building mtc guy he did an excellent job to fix it. The room was prooly laid out. Why they have such a large table with 4 chairs for two people ...I will never know. Anyway, at the end of the day, we are on vacation and always make it a point to not complain ....because I do not want to ruin my vacation when I am there

Great location

The Waikiki Grand is an older hotel, with a bit of a tired feeling to it, but it is in a fabulous location with stores and restaurants close by. The zoo and park area is across the street and the beach is a block away. Our room was clean, quiet, with a very comfortable king sized bed. The kitchenette area was adequate, although the toaster didn't work properly. There is also no electrical outlet in the kitchen for the toaster, coffee pot, etc. We had to use the power cord bedside the bed to plug in the small appliances. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but it was nice to have that to keep the room cool at night. There is a laundry room in the basement which we used to dry damp beach towels or do laundry. I would recommend to the manager/hosts of this unit to add a few extra coat hooks in the entry way for hats, jackets, etc., and an extra towel bar and some hooks in the bathrooms to hang up wet bathing suits and towels, etc. We were provided with beach chairs which we very much appreciated. We also booked a parking space ahead of time. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was ok, although there weren't many chairs and the area is under renovation. Overall we enjoyed our stay. If it were not for the location, I would give this property 3 stars, but the location bumped it up to 4. Lots of stores and restaurants close by and the best part of Waikiki Beach is a short walk away.

Great Location !

My room was clean and tidy with all amenities I needed.. It is really close to the beach and is very convenient. We had a great time. A couple things in the unit needs repair. Kitchen drawer was repeatedly sliding out on its own and the window screen has an existing hole.
