Ubicación frente al mar en la entrada, enclavada en un antiguo bosque a pocos pasos de Chestermans Beach y Cox Bay. Perfectamente ubicado a medio camino entre 2 de las mejores olas de surf de Tofino.

Esta casa es realmente una obra maestra que se construye a medida con los más altos estándares. Los techos de 16 'con ventanas de piso a techo crean vistas despejadas al océano y al viejo bosque.

We absolutely loved this waterfront retreat! Beautiful view, spacious rooms with high ceilings, ample amenities and privacy. The interior furnishings were a great mix of west coast, vintage and oriental design - super comfortable and cosy. Hot tub was the perfect spot to warm up after playing in the surf and the hammock was a highlight. Ideal for families and dogs and a convenient location for access to the beach. Adam, the host was well organized, accommodating and very responsive (not to mention a talented builder). Highly recommend!

"All of us loved it. We've stayed at villas in Italy, and the Dominican Republic, etc.. It was great and unique. We used the wood stove and even cooked a pie in it :) The sauna with a cold plunge was the icing on the cake.

West Coast Seclusion at It’s Best

Wow. Stunner of a property that impressed with its beautiful Canadian West Coast architecture, interior design, attention to detail and the amazing amenities. From starting our day with proper espresso’s to warming up after a day on the water with the Sauna and Hot Tub to being feed from the chef’s kitchen…the house made our trip. It was a pleasure to hang out and just enjoy the views. We will be back.

Beautiful house, peaceful location

Our group of 6 adults had a fantastic time at the Tofino Retreat. It’s in a private location just minutes from Chesterman Beach. The house itself is stunning, and all three bedrooms enjoy a gorgeous view of the water. There is so much space for people to spread out and feel comfortable.The completely fenced in wrap-around deck was a perfect place to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings in privacy; it was great for our dogs to be off leash and enjoy some freedom outdoors. We loved using the outdoor fire pit, the hot-tub, and the sauna each day.We appreciated the extras that Adam provides such as firewood and coffee beans (the kitchen features a professional espresso maker).Adam is a very kind and responsive host.Staying here was a real treat. We hope to be back again soon.

Perfect family getaway

Incredible property & amenities. Knowing March in Tofino would be rainy, we wanted a place we’d be happy indoors when it was too wet to be outside, and this was more than we hoped for! In between hiking and surfing we enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and amazing views while having coffee and playing games.

This house was exactly as described. Its view is unbelievable even on cloudy rainy days. We enjoyed the house, hot tub & SUPs especially. It’s private but great neighborhood and the walk to the beach is gorgeous. Great communication with owner and look forward to coming back!

Terrific in Tofino

Very special house and property with amazing location, view and amenities. Host is very attentive and responsive. Caretaker also. Really fantastic place to kick back after hiking etc… Enjoy the hot tub, sauna ,fire pit ,games,records , SUP’s and great kitchen +bbq for eating in. Loved our time here and highly recommend.

That pretty much sums it up. We stayed 3 nights and it was just the perfect spot. The facilities were incredible. Using the hot tub surrounded by the forest during a light rain shower was therapeutic. We also enjoyed the view, the wood burning stove and especially the coffee. A great stay and we hope to return one day. Thank you to the host for making this stay so special.

Jaw dropping gorgeous!

Adam's place is exactly as beautiful and enchanting as the photos suggest -- and somehow, even better. There's something so magical about experiencing this architectural beauty in person. We enjoyed spending quiet time in every room, every space, indoor and out. We especially loved how this home perfectly reflects and embodies the feeling of Tofino. This means you don't have to feel like you're missing out on anything "out there" while you're spending time "in." We couldn't stop staring at the view out the living room at all times of day. We hope to one day stay again at this very special cathedral in the forest.

Perfect family rendezvous spot

Being served up some of the finest Westcoast rain and wind, we made great use of big room. Great place to cook up, socialize and play a few games. The hot tub and rainwater shower were special.

Family get away

Quit the amazing property and location, one of most interesting homes I've stayed in. Architecturally delightful with huge windows everywhere to let light and nature inside. A great kitchen, huge deck with many fun extras like an outdoor fireplace, hot tub and sauna and the location is really private with an amazing view out to the inlet. Beds were really comfortable. The only downside in my view was that the seating furniture wasn't really very comfortable, it worked but I do think that needs upgrading. I would definitely stay here again.

Tofino Getaway

The property is accurate as listed. Ideally suited for family/friends retreat away from it all. Tofino is quiet in March. Some seasonal amenities in town (restaurants and venues) in winter shutdown. Abundant beaches, storms, waves, surf, seashell hunting, and long walks on the sand.

Fantastic House & Location!

We stayed here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary so it was a special treat. We loved every minute at this property and Adam was a great host. The architecture and furnishings are truly incredible - so unique and tasteful but also very comfortable. The views to the bay from every room were just breathtaking and getting to wake up looking out of those huge windows was such a treat. The walk to the beach is an easy 15 min. walk - the drive to Tofino's downtown is easy too. We truly did have the best coffee of our lives from the beans (provided) and the professional espresso machine. We loved listening to the records! The kitchen is awesome and well equipped. The house is VERY clean and I notice every detail on that front. The bed and sheets were very comfortable/nice and even the duvet was clearly just laundered. There were plenty of towels and even separate ones for the hot tub. The second story/right side of the house is completely separate and (I think) inhabited but we never saw anyone else, nor did we hear anyone else so it felt very private. We only hope to be back some day and will bring kayaks to explore the bay - there were SUP boards available but we're not so confident on those. We'll likely skip Jan/Feb though since many businesses and restaurants close for those months, but then again the house is so incredible it's hard to leave it. We're so grateful to have been able to stay here - thank you for sharing such a special place!!

West Coast Luxury

This is a fabulous home, built to maximize enjoyment of nature in all weather, with what amount to glass walls on both the ocean and treed sides of the home, and filled with wonderful creature comforts. Look forward to visiting it again, with its gracious host.

Tofino's Best!

This property was absolutely amazing! Our stay this November was absolutely phenomenal. Adam was such a great host, he was available at a moment's notice, and responded instantaneously to any questions we had. The hot tub was perfect, the layout was awesome. The TV in the family room made great games night (there is cable and has HDMI outs). The recorder player can play throughout the whole house (and is also Bluetooth enabled to connect to your phones). The coffee, oohh the coffee, is literally the best we have ever had! His espresso maker is the best, easy to use (even for the unexperienced). I believe he owns the coffee shop down the road, so we definitely had to buy some beans to take home. The location is only 5 mins away from anywhere you need to go in Tofino. The backyard is the ocean (very cool to see the tides come in and out). We were a group of 3 couples, hands down the best place to stay, definitely worth it!
