Impresionantes vistas: Rockwood Hill House

Aléjese de todo en esta casa recientemente renovada en las colinas que bordean el Parque Nacional Joshua Tree. Este retiro relajante se encuentra en 3 acres de tierra, con mucho espacio al aire libre e impresionantes vistas panorámicas. Está idealmente ubicado a pocos kilómetros de Joshua Tree Village y la entrada del parque.

La casa está ubicada en 3 acres de tierra al pie de las colinas de Joshua Tree. Está recientemente renovado, moderno con toques rústicos y de mediados de siglo y hermosos pisos de concreto. Tiene una cocina completa y comedor, con casi todo lo que pueda necesitar para cocinar.

Hay 2 habitaciones King, una cama queen extra (cama real, no un sofá cama) en el salón del garaje. Oh ... ¿mencioné el salón del garaje?

Convertimos el garaje en un salón / sala de juegos con mesa de billar y TV de pantalla plana de 55 ", reproductor de DVD y Roku (Netflix, etc.).

Hay un gran patio con varios espacios al aire libre que incluyen un área de salón cubierta con sofá y sillones, un área de comedor al aire libre para 6 personas con una parrilla de propano cubierta por una pérgola y un área de salón descubierta. Vistas asombrosas del desierto pueden ser escenas desde cualquier espacio al aire libre. También hay una bañera de hidromasaje al aire libre para 6 personas con vistas panorámicas ... perfecta para relajarse después de un día en el parque.

Aunque podemos acomodar a 6 personas, la casa es más cómoda para 2-4 personas, ya que solo hay 1 baño completo. El baño completo tiene 2 duchas, una ducha y una bañera con ducha, por lo que es ideal para parejas y personas que se sienten cómodas entre sí.

Great Location close to Park & Town

We enjoyed our stay Rockwood. The location is great and the property is as described and the pictures are accurate. The game room is a great gathering spot and the outdoor areas are fantastic. It’s close to the park and town yet quiet and relaxing. After a day of hiking and exploring relaxing in the hot and watching the stars was a great night cap! The owners are very responsive and provided all the details needed to enjoy the property. Would return for sure!

Joshua Tree Oasis

This home was every bit as beautiful as the photos—and somehow even more charming in person! The spacious layout gave our family plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring, and the house was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed: coffee and baking essentials, plush towels, games and activities for all ages, and ample outdoor seating to soak in the stunning desert views.We especially appreciated the large cooler and ice packs, which made it easy to pack lunches and extra water for our days in the park.The location couldn’t have been better- only about 10 minutes from the main park entrance- which made it the perfect home base for early mornings and full days of adventure. The home was quiet and peaceful, tucked at the top of a mountain cul-de-sac, and was the perfect place to recharge after our adventures.The hosts were wonderful- quick to respond any time we had a question and generous with recommendations before and during our stay. Some of our favorite meals were at Snakebite Roadhouse, Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, and Kitchen in the Desert in 29 Palms for a truly unique elevated dining experience. We also loved ordering from Sky High Pie on our first night- it was the perfect welcome after a day of travel.We can’t recommend this home enough and would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing house and location

We loved the blend of old and new of this property located just outside Joshua Tree National Park. The property was clean and well stocked. I highly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying near the park. My only regret is that we could not stay there longer.

Everything we needed

This property has it all! Great location very close to JT National Park, amenities like a hot tub, grilling facilities, pool table, three comfy beds, as well as plenty of space to lounge and a well-stocked kitchen. Would love to visit again! Everything very clean and tidy, too.

Rockland House in Joshua Tree A Homerun

Josh & Don, are the perfect/ideal hosts. Rockland House in Joshua Tree was amazing. You sit on top of the Joshua Tree looking down on Yucca Valley with amazing night time twinkling lights, star gazing, sunsets & sunrises. House has all theamenities for an ideal stay.

Great stay in Joshua Tree

Overall great!! House was awesome. Kids loved the game room. Easy access to the park and great place to retreat after park days. Would definitely stay again! My 6 year old said it was his "dream house".

Nice vacation property near Joshua Tree National Park

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood near Yucca Valley. Great space with plenty of amenities, including a great view. The owners were very communicative and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing home with outstanding views!!

We had a fabulous stay at Rockwood House and didn't want to leave. The owners thought of EVERYTHING and the house is super well-stocked and cozy. We loved watching the beautiful sunrise. We used the hot tub and game room, played pool and piano!

Late Fall Vacation in Joshua Tree

We had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as shown in the listing. But, you could not describe the amazing sunrises and sunsets that can be enjoyed from the patio. The game room is cozy and has everything you need for an evening of fun. Great access to Joshua Tree National Park! Would gladly stay again!

Rockwood Rocks!

We had a great 5-night stay at Josh and Don’s lovely Joshua Tree home. Their home was comfortable (great mattresses) and felt very private. Lots of room to both spread out and have family together time. The outdoor spaces where we sat, ate, read books, stargazed, and listened to birdsong were spectacular! The view is panoramic and we watched the sunrises and sunsets. The entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just a few minutes from the house. A 5 star plus property- hoping we can return soon!

As Advertised!

Wonderfully clean and relaxing home. The pool table and beautiful sunrises provided great entertainment. The hosts are pros! Our stay was worth every penny, which isn’t true of very much these days! JTNP was gorgeous and my kids (2&6) loved rock scrambling on the discovery trail. We hope to come back! It was such a great weekend away!

Can I give it 6 stars?

The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The ability to divide sections off for different activities is fantastic. And the outside living space is DEVINE. The jacuzzi was hot, and the stargazing from it was magical. Beds were comfy, neighborhood quiet, kitchen well-supplied, lots of towels, everything worked and the documentation was clear. Josh was communicative and very responsive. We were sad to leave and hope to come back soon!

Everything we needed!

Everything we would need and more in the kitchen. Game room a fun and comfy place to hang out. Nice views and lovely outdoor spaces. Heaters took a while to warm up the house but it was cold and windy when we arrived. They eventually caught up. Pictures made it seem a little more wild and remote than it was, but it was still a private, quiet retreat while being easy to get to town and the national park. Very responsive host!

Amazing views

The Rockwood Hill House is a lovely stay in the high desert, with amazing views overlooking the Yucca Valley. Getting there was easy with detailed instructions. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are spacious and there was lots of outdoor space for eating and relaxing. The game room is a huge bonus! I only wish we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be back, maybe with friends!

Mini Joshua tree park

We really enjoyed our stay on your property… just walking around the grounds alone and watching the wildlife that roam throigh was an experience in and of itself. Shooting stars from the hot tub… and the views of the city lights below.. What a nice experience in a clean friendly environment

Visit with Grad school daughter

Everything about our stay was wonderful! We met up with our graduate school daughter and her friend at a place none of us had been to prior. Josh and Don were amazing hosts from the welcome snacks to providing everything you could possibly need during your stay. Their beautiful home is so close to the west entrance of the park where after enjoying lazy mornings having coffee together and maybe throwing in a game of pool we would pack a lunch and head into the park. Joshua Tree park is surreal and worth visiting and Josh and Don’s house is a perfect homebase to come back to every afternoon/night. We loved spending time in the hot tub at night watching the stars and the distant lights, playing trivia and pool in the game room which was a perfect gathering place when we weren’t out exploring. Josh & Dan- Thank you so much for your hospitality! We made so many great memories!

Perfection in Joshua Tree

We stayed for three days while visiting Joshua Tree National Park and surrounding area. The house was so convenient to the entrance to the NP. The sunrise each morning was stunning. The house is so cute and had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. I highly recommend this house for your JT vacation!!
