Nashville Trip

This is an excellent place to stay and has all the amenities. We enjoyed every bit of our trip to Nashville. The only thing missing was a second kayak, but everything else was great.

Relaxing retreat

The property had everything we needed for 3 couples to relax. Close enough to Nashville to enjoy it and far enough to be quiet. Loved it

Family Weekend getaway

Our stay was great. This house was the perfect getaway for a quiet, peaceful, and scenic family get together. We used most if not all of the amenities that the house had to offer. Long enough distance for the peace and quiet and still only 15-20 from airport and Broadway.

Amazing Place for a Celebration

The property was everything it claimed to be. The hot tub was amazing especially on a cool night. It was just close enough to anything you would need. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place near Nashville to have a get together with family.

Our son, daughter in-law and college age grandsons joined us. We had a wonderful time sitting on the screen porch, playing pool and enjoying the hot tub. We had everything we needed! Our host checked on us and was available if we needed anything.

We had an awesome time. The house was right on the lake with plenty to do. The house was clean and had everything we needed to accommodate everyone in our group. Bryan our host was great and easy to get in touch with.

Welcoming Retreat

We had a great stay. Even better than the pictures. Bryan was responsive to our questions & made us feel comfortable. The sunroom was wonderful & it was perfect to watch fireworks. We would highly recommend!

Nashville Get-away

My three friends and I loved our stay! The house was clean and well-cared for. The hot tub and firepit were so nice and easy to use. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the lake, too. It was also an easy drive into Nashville and to the other areas we planned to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful!

We enjoyed every minute we spent at the house! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the view was spectacular! We spent most of our time on the screened in porch taking in the view! I can’t say enough good things!

Great place to stay!

Can't say enough nice things about the place and/or the host Brian -- very kind and accommodating.The place has everything you need and the wildlife surrounding the area was incredible.We saw, 26 or more geese @ one time all together, 15 or more Deer -- 7 of which were together as a heard. Handful of turtles, egrets, cardinals, and even caught 3 fish from the docksideIt was and is the perfect get away. Brian put fresh water in the hot tub the day before we arrived and many other little details that were so thoughtful.10/10 recommend!

Fantastic

Superior hosts with stellar communication skills. Location was great for serenity away from the city, yet close enough for day trips into downtown. The teens enjoyed the kayak and canoe time. The screened-in porch was lovely. I definitely recommend Splashing Turtle Lakehouse!

Old Hickory Lake House

We had a great visit with our family. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screen in porch. Enjoyed watching birds, turtles, deer. The house was exactly as advertised. We used the fire pit one night and made s’mores. We would stay again when in the Mt. Juliet area.

Lovely Trip

We had a wonderful experience. Bryan was easy to contact and accommodating. The house was nicely set up, and the pancake and waffle mix was a lovely touch. The view is very pretty, and I wish we’d been there in warmer weather to enjoy more of the outside activities.

Wouldn’t Change a Thing

We chose this home because of its proximity to the water and it did not disappoint!Lovely home, very comfortable with plenty of room. The host was responsive and had thought of everything needed to make guests feel at home while away from home.We loved sitting on the screened porch perched above the water, watching the cranes and turtles in their natural habitat.Fishing was great and the kids loved the kayaks, pool table and games provided in the home.Quiet neighborhood with plenty of services close by.Thanks Bryan for a stellar stay!Mark and Shelly

Wonderful lake house!

My husband and I, along with our adult children and their spouses, stayed in this beautiful lake home. It was right on the water with a dock for our boat. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was spacious. We were only about 35 minutes from Nashville and all it had to offer. Bryan was so responsive and helpful. Our family loved our trip and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much.

The house is located in a cul de sac, in what appears to be a nice neighborhood. It’s a nice old house. The only improvement I’d consider is that the house was a bit dusty. Needs better or more thorough cleaning.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We did have a week delay between our cleaning team coming through and this reservation. Going forward we will have a touch up dusting when we have a time gap between cleaning and the next guest. We also regularly change air filters in the heating/cooling system to catch dust where possible. We did also change the filter early to enhance dust collection this winter.

Perfect for a small family reunion.

We chose this house to stay in while visiting our family in TN. It was perfectly situated not more than three miles from their house. We loved how cozy the house was. Perfect for spending time together. We have no complaints. As a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a new/larger water heater to accommodate larger families. We hope to return to this same house for another family visit in 2024!

Family vacation

We stayed at the lakehouse for 7 nights. There was 6 adults and 2 pre teens. There was plenty of room for us all . The house was very clean and fully equiped. It was in a great location. It only took us minutes to get anywhere we needed and just a short drive to Nashville. The owner was just a call or text away and always was available for questions about the area. We are already planning our next visit to the Lakehouse!!
