Most everything was in working order, except the grill (which is important to us) - it needed direction, and there really should be beach equipment available for those flying to the area. We left an ice chest and a few towels.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked this property with our friends and all of our kiddos! We were outnumbered by the kids, but this house had plenty of places for them to play. All of the rooms were clean and spacious. We especially loved the kitchen/ main floor balcony, how it all felt like one with the huge windows. We didn't end up walking to the beach, just a tad too far for the kiddos but a very short drive and easier on our group.

Location and cleanliness was great. A few tweaks could make this a 5-star VRBO. 1) Extra blankets in upstairs guest rooms for guests' sleeping comfort. Not just primary bedroom. 2) Facial tissue, like Kleenex, in the bathrooms. 3) Improved and more toiletries in bathrooms, i.e., hand soap pump in each bathroom and kitchen, not just half bath.

Great house with quick access to beach

This house was perfect for our week long stay! The fridge did go out the first day we were there but they were quick to bring a replacement. While there is a boardwalk close by we chose to drive to the beach and it was super convenient! We would for sure stay here again!

Stayed for a long weekend

We loved the location of this home and the views from the decks out towards the beach. Just two doors down we were able to access a boardwalk to the beach. No golf cart rental needed! We will likely rent this house again. It was so comfortable and spacious. The furniture is nice. Take note - you do need to bring everything you need for the vacation as it appears this house is not lived in as a family vacation home. Only the barest minimum of items are provided...kind of like renting a suite at a hotel. Also, the neighbors are really nice. ;-)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at this property annually since 2019 and really love its location, views, and layout. On this most recent visit, a few things were not working when we checked in, which was disappointing. The toilet seat was broken and unusable in the upstairs en-suite, the only lightbulb was out in the primary bedroom's en-suite water closet, and the disposal wasn't working and was attached with electrical tape. According to the calendar, no one was in the unit a day or two before us, so why these things weren't handled immediately after the last guests' exit is a mystery. On the plus side, Port A Escapes took care of these issues as fast as possible, which we appreciated. But when we ran the dishwasher on our second night there, there was standing water in the bottom of the appliance after the cycle finished. We love so much about this property, but it seems it may need some attention so that the guest experience justifies the price charged during the high season.

Great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is as described and is backed up to the sand dunes with a walk across the boardwalk to the beach. The boardwalk is difficult to navigate if you are carrying large items or small children. It is however a 2 minute drive to the beach which we found more convenient to do. 2nd floor view is mostly blocked by sand dunes and another building. 3rd floor views are good and you can see and hear the waves. Kitchen could use more cutting boards and blender was broken upon arrival. Be mindful of notes about the fridge. It does take some time to cool down groceries, so plan accordingly on when and how much you buy when you arrive. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely book again.

Overall Good Experience

Pros: Location Has dishware Has icemaker/water Cons: Carpet and living room furniture is VERY worn. As in needs total replacing. Bring your own everything (shampoo/wash/cooking oil, etc) Bring your own beach supplies If you have trouble with stairs, this is not the place for you. There are a lot of stairs and would be hard for older folks.

Spacious Beach House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was really impressed with the overall spaciousness of the kitchen, living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware you might need. The AC worked well and kept us comfortable. The location was close to grocery store and beach access. 3 ovens!! There were some plumbing drainage issues (master shower) that were taken care of once we used the correct contact number. Disposal was broken and washer dryer were not efficient (rinse/spin didn’t work well and dryer door popped open). Propane was out in grill and too oven took a long time to pre-heat and probably didn’t actually work well once it heated.Rent a golf cart because the boardwalk is a long (tons of stairs) walk to beach, so we used both. Took a load of coolers and chairs in cart and people used boardwalk. Boardwalk could use some repairs. Clean, spacious and close to town. Pricey given the plumbing, propane and appliance issues.

The frustrating part of this trip was with issues in master shower (not draining), the dryer has to be run 4 times to actually get something dry and the disposal did not work causing continual sink clogging

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this property and have stayed there multiple times: with relatives, with a friend for our son, and by ourselves. It's more than enough room for our immediate family, but we've gone back on our own because it's a great house perfectly situated behind the dunes and in a relatively quiet cul-de-sac.Since we're been staying there since 2019, we can comment on the upkeep. In general, the property's still in great shape. But for some reason, the dishwasher has taken a beating, and the lower rack especially needs to be replaced. We also noticed on this visit that there were fewer kitchen amenities--fewer mugs, missing things like cookie sheets and extra pots and pans that had been there in the past.Still, I expect we'll stay there again for the great views, wonderful layout, and overall relaxing experience.
