A fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment and the abundant natural light provided by the large windows. The master bedroom features a small standing-room-only balcony with a view of Via Tommacelli. The area is surrounded by shopping, restaurants, and various amenities. There's also a convenient grocery store nearby.

The location is great, but otherwise can’t recommend this property. Summary of Issues:•The property condition was materially worse than represented in the listing photographs.•On arrival, I was told pillowcases were not provided but would be delivered later.•Sheets and blankets were visibly dirty and unhygienic.•I was later informed pillowcases would not be delivered at all.•Overall cleanliness was well below a reasonable standard for occupancy.

Perfect Location!

Overall the apartment was very nice and the location is INCREDIBLE! A lot of landmarks, shopping, restaurants and gelato in close proximity. Our welcome was timely and very informative and recommended food was spot on! The unit is beautiful however the toilet seat was broken and leaked in the master suite, coffee pot did not work and the living room couch was very uncomfortable. I’m sure these items will be repaired, and we all recommend this unit.

The apartment is large and In a great location. The apartment is run down. Ants in the kitchen, master door wouldn’t stay closed, broken glass on door to the second bath. The manager was responsive when we had issues with hot water. The building is really run down.

Great apartment

My family recently spent 5 nights in this apartment 2 weeks ago. Wonderful location - 3 blocks from the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo and an easy walk to Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, etc. The owner, Massimo, was also great. He was extremely responsive to our inquiries prior to arrival which really helped. For European standards, this is a large apartment. Be aware that there is no elevator (which is not unusual for older buildings in Europe) so be prepared for 4 flights of stairs...a great way to burn off the carbs from all the great pasta you'll find everywhere! I highly recommend this apartment and we plan to come back as soon as possible. Tim - San Francisco - March 2019

Great, but a little work would go a long way

Summary: This rental is in a fantastic location and is a great place to stay. With a little investment it could be an A+. Upside: Location is superb. We were pleasantly surprised at our ability to get everywhere easily and the neighborhood overall is wonderful. It's a 10 minute walk to the spanish steps and there are great restaurants everywhere. Major win is the grocery / bakery and terrace cafe right next door. We went everyday. A/C was solid and there is an elevator which helped our older parents. Downside: Reviews noting ants are truthful. We kept the kitchen clean and food off of the counters to help. We also put the placemats (lots of ants there) in the freezer. There were no lights in the kitchen, and the place could use a little touching up - it was just a bit tired. Would recommend this place and would stay there again.

Great location but the apartment needs some TLC

Loved the location, beds were comfortable we didn’t use the kitchen. Bathrooms were not great. The tub was coated with soap scum and the shower leaked (a lot because the shower door seal was not functional) all over the floor requiring use of towels to keep water from leaking into floor below. The master bath shower hose was broken and more water spewed out below the hand shower head than came through the head. I texted the property manager on day one and never heard a word back until the text to tell me where to leave the keys under the mat (there was no mat!?!). The floor underneath the pullout bed had not been cleaned in quite a while (we dropped a medicine bottle which rolled under the bed and when we retrieved it…it was not alone and it was evident that it had not been cleaned. I would not stay here again, because I shower daily and clean and functional bathrooms are important to me. But I will say the location was great and the bed I slept in was comfortable.

Muy buena ubicación

El apartamento tiene una excelente ubicación a escasos pasos de la plaza de España, con un tranquilo paseo puedes ir caminando a los monumentos más visitados de Roma. Echamos de menos en el apartamento algunos muebles que si aparecían en las fotos como las cómodas de cajones. El apartamento estaba limpio, unicamente algunas sillas estaban viejas y las apartamos para no sentarnos por miedo a que se rompieran.

Opinión sobre el apartamento

El apartamento está perfectamente situado para aquellas personas que quieran visitar a pié los principales monumentos de Roma ya que está a tan solo unos 15-25 minutos de todos ellos. Bien acondicionado. Al lado mismo hay cada día mercado y muy cerca un supermercado. Aconsejo no ir muy cargado de maletas (segundo piso) ya que las escaleras son bastante empinadas.

Great Location

We loved the location, but thought the apartment needed some work. A fresh paint job would help! We found bugs in the bathrooms and kitchen, both showers leaked, and some of the furniture was unfinished.

Disappointing

Pros: Good location, spacious unit, good check in and communication *before* we arrived. Cons: Ants all over the kitchen, living room and master suite. Air conditioning in bedrooms did not cool. Showers leak onto the floor. When we reported the AC and leaking problems we received one quick unhelpful response, and subsequent requests for help were unanswered. It was HOT in Rome when we visited, and we were miserable trying to sleep with no AC. It was probably 80° F in there.

Great apartment near Spanish Steps

Spacious, beautiful apartment for a family of four. Comfortable furniture for lounging and a big table for meals with a nice kitchen. Many windows and lots of natural light. Wifi and washer too. Close to many shops, bus stop, metro stop and centrally located to many sights like the Spanish steps, Piazza del popolo and Villa Borghese.

Fantastic!

This place was awesome! The location was perfect, walking distance to so many places and sites. Giulio is so accommodating and friendly. Claudia is superb and made everything easy (and gave us some great suggestions for food!). Both are extremely responsive, too. We really enjoyed our stay here and would 100% recommend to friends and family traveling to beautiful Roma!

Geräumiges Apartment in zentraler Lage.

Lage und Ausstattung des Apartments entsprechen im Wesentlichen der Beschreibung. Viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Taxistand direkt vor der Tür. Das Apartment ist in der 3. Etage ohne Aufzug.

Perfect location

The house was very clean and well maintained! Plenty of room to relax. There is a washing machine, but I did not realize when I booked that there is not a dryer. Something to keep in mind. The apartment is in a perfect location - easy to walk most anywhere in Rome! (We accidentally left our mobile phone in a rush to catch a taxi. Massimo got it back to us - he was awesome!!)

Everything was perfect. The location is in the heart of the city. Large rooms, clean and exceptional value. The host is like a friend. Organized and with lots of details. Lists of restaurants, sight seeing, transportation options. They cover everything. Even provided a car service to and from the airport. We relaxed and felt at home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this apartment. ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL VACATION APARTMENT. We will stay again and tell our friends about this great experience

Great location

Pros- great location and convenient to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and upscale shopping. About a 30 minute walk to Vatican City and Coliseum. Host was also gracious in allowing us to drop off bags before standard check-in. Cons- shower in main bath leaks and A/C in den was not working but those are both fixable.

excellent location, huge flat, well equipped needs to be freshened up

The flat is in a perfect central position, although on a busy road the double glazing and position of the rooms means it is rather quiet. The flat is very spacious and has 2 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living room is large and very light and pleasant. The sofa bed is in an open corridor so not very private but we didn't need to use it. The flat is well equipped, a lot of new equipment in the large kitchen. We asked for an extra set of keys and they were given to us promptly by the agency. The only real fault is a lack of wardrobes and the fact the flat looks a bit tired. It could really do with freshening up especially the bathrooms and the 2nd room and some of the bedding.

Great shopping!

Great location for shopping, and a short walk to Spanish Steps (which has a Metro stop). I would guess around a 15-20 minute walk to Pantheon, which is right in the middle of old Rome. Great value and plenty of room for everyone! 2 bedrooms and 2 pull out sleeper couches, which were very comfortable. Master bedroom with attached bathroom is really nice! Only negatives was the 2nd bathroom shower fixtures were a little busted, and I am guessing it is a sit down bath/shower type setup. Seemed to leak water all over the floor, but that may have just been folks standing up. Also, be prepared to walk up/down four flights of stairs, just have to remember to save a little energy for that walk up at the end of the day! (-8 Walls are a little scuffed from rental wear, needs a little TLC (painting touch up/minor fixes) in the off season.
