HI Roxanne Thanks for taking time to write a review. When we built the house we installed all oversize interior doors to accommodate handicap folks. We tried to design the house so it would flow well for a large group. It's extra beautiful in the summer when you can sit on the screened in porch in the evening and enjoy the lake. Thank you for your review. Glad to hear you enjoyed our home. We strive to make it as enjoyable as possible for our guests. We are sorry you did not see our warnings about water depth ( approx 4 ft) and no diving off of the dock. We have a warning about the depth in our mail out we send to each guest prior to their arrival. We also have 2 signs posted on the dock indicating "no diving shallow water". We strive to provide every safety measure we can (chain locks on each exterior door so children can not open the doors and wander down to the water). We also have child safety locks on cabinet doors that might have cleaning supplies. We also provide a child safety gate for the steps. Sorry about the confusion about arrival times, we changed it to 4:00 after covid to provide our housekeeper more time to clean. Fortunately the house was ready early so you were not inconvenienced. We are sorry that you were disappointed with our lakehouse. We have rented this property and others for more than 20 years, and our reviews are consistent with the others on this website. We have never received a negative review on any of our properties (including Emerald Isle and Myrtle Beach). We are puzzled by your review. Since the house is in a wooded environment, we have regular spraying for insects, which occurred just prior to your arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking for large groups, and we keep cleaning supplies under the sink for our guests' use. Our grandchildren, ages 2 and 6 regularly visit the house.

Thank you for the great review. We are glad you enjoyed our lakehouse and hope you will return again. We had never thought about adding an outdoor shower but may look into that possibility. The camp across the cove is a christian camp and they run a tight ship over there.
