Este es un duplex totalmente amueblado de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños en Newport Beach (Unidad superior) con capacidad para 6 personas como máximo. Aire acondicionado en todo! El dormitorio principal tiene 2 camas Queen y el segundo dormitorio tiene 1 cama King. Espacio habitable = 1,200 pies cuadrados.

Esta casa de vacaciones se encuentra a 1 minuto a pie del océano, la arena, el muelle, las tiendas, los restaurantes y el paseo marítimo de Newport Beach. Vista parcial al mar.

Cocina totalmente equipada (ollas, sartenes, utensilios, con encimeras de granito y refrigerador de acero inoxidable, fregadero, microondas, estufa y lavaplatos). Parrilla de barbacoa en el balcón delantero. Cada habitación tiene aire acondicionado (AC) y ventiladores de techo en todas partes.

The location was perfect, owner was extremely communicative and even allowed for an early check in. Only downfall which was manageable was the showers. Water was either too hot or cold.

Great stay!

Our family had a great stay and the property was as described. Plenty of kitchen items some in almost new condition and some showed some wear but to be expected. If your a super clean freak then I’m sure you will find some things that are not up to par but it was pretty much what we expected being so close to the beach and action. The property was very well appointed and had just about everything you could ask for and felt right at home. David the owner was extremely helpful and fast to respond with any questions. Thanks David, we had a great stay! Can’t wait to come back!

Close to everything

Had quick family get away Sept 6 -9t, 2013 and stayed in the Phan vacation home. Having a dedicated place to park our rental car was a huge plus. Walking to the beach located just a couple of blocks away made things very nice. Kitchen was equipped so we were able to prepare and eat all of our meals at the beach house instead of going out to restaurants. Having the front balcony to sit and people watch was enjoyable. The downsides were the beds were very hard and could use new mattresses. Also there was no airflow in the bedrooms as one has a window sandwiched in a small area between another home. This made it a bit uncomfortable with temperatures in the house hitting the mid 80's. Sofa's also look inviting however are worn and need new cushions. Walking distance to 7-11; Von's and numerous beach/pier shops. Even with the downsides I would recommend a stay and look forward to returning.

Wish we could have stayed another week!

This was our second year vacationing at the beach house and we had an incredible 10 day stay that we wish could have been longer! Somehow we still managed to hit a “record heatwave” but the addition of new ceiling fans in each room was FANTASTIC! the house was more than comfortable this year. Thank you! It was nice to see that you do review the comments and make adjustments! The cozy new sofas were wonderful to relax on in the evening when winding down after a long day at the beach. I appreciated the extra driveway space when having to park our VW Jetta horizontally due to the new Newport Beach regulation that vehicles do not go onto the sidewalk area at all. We did notice several people getting tickets each night and were grateful we were not one of them. Dear future visitors, you cannot find a better place to stay. The listing description is accurate and the photos show the house exactly as it is. We highly recommend the rental and David is very communicative. This year we took advantage of the nearby attractions of renting an Electric Duffy Boat at the Wayward Captain which was a 2 block walk. We also went on a Whale Watching tour at Davy's Locker (10 min car drive) and rented bicycles across the street for the day. We stocked up on groceries at the Pavillions (5 minute car drive) and again the 7-11 being a block away was so helpful for the little extras we needed. Late night and wee early morning strolls along the beach so convenient a mere 5 minute walk away were enjoyed every day. Saturday morning getting fresh crab, prawn and fish next to the pier from the Dorry Fisherman is always such a treat! Being able to cook all of our meals at the house and splurge with ice cream from Janes Corndogs across the street was fun! By the way, this year we were able to put the boogie board, beach chairs and beach umbrella to use that is left for visitors. And thank you for the extra beach towels. So handy! We left with heavy hearts wishing we could stay longer. The only thing I couldn’t find was a regular broom and a mop. I did find a hand broom, but a regular broom and mop would have been helpful for the little bit of extra sand that managed to find it’s way into the house with us. We look forward to spending time at the house again next year. The new décor was so pretty also! Thanks again for a great vacation! We can't wait to come back!

Great rental!

Our family loved staying at this rental. The convenience right outside our door was the best part. Restaurants, shops and a beautiful beach were steps from our door. The house is very comfortable with room to stretch out. Very short drive to Balboa Beach for whale watching. Plus, we drove over to both Disneyland and Universal Studios. Coming back to the beach after each amusement park is a huge perk. The nightlife appears exciting in the area but we were there for family time so we didn't check it out. But it gave us great people watching from the balcony. We'd love to visit again.

Right in the middle of the action

Very nice place that is well stocked, everything from ice trays to DVD's/games to beach towels/chairs/umbrellas and even a couple boogie boards. It's right across the street from the heart of Newport beach and the pier. Tons of restaurants within a few minute walking distance. Very lively atmosphere at that part of the town albeit a bit noisy at times at night (mostly weekends). It's a 5 minute walk to the beach and the pier, which is very nice. We had one minor issue (not worth bringing up the specifics) and the owner was very prompt at getting back to us and resolving it as well as proactive about trying to prevent the issue in the future. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time w/ family in this clean place

The listing description was accurate. The location was perfect for beach access, proximity to restaurants, and the bay. Layout was ideal for family get togethers or a couples getaway. Property was clean and well maintained. Owner was quick with text responses and very helpful. We would recommend this place to our friends and family. We enjoyed the beach daily, biking, and renting duffy's to cruise around the bay.

Great location, comfortable beds, nice and modern.

We loved the walk ability from this house to bars, restaurants and entertainment, and of course to the ocean! We used the gift card at the Rusty Pelican for a great happy hour, thanks David. Highly recommend with a short ride by Lyft ($6). Would stay again.

"SMOKE AND MIRRORS" Not like it looks in picture . . . mirrors are misleading the appearance.

Was very run down . . . bathroom showers did not work properly. Need repair in both. We had to repair the dishwasher so that it would work. Propane ran out first night. Had to 'reset' internet twice. Oven was filthy. Other than the sliding glass door, you really couldn't see out of ANY of the windows. They were all filthy. Towels and bedding were fine. Clean and nice. Pots and pans are old and beat up, and not very many dishes match. TV was nice, and the air conditioning worked about halfway. Got hot in main room by the slider. It was convenient to walking to the pier, beach, and restaurants. But was noisy, especially on weekends. Garage code provided did not work, and keyless entry malfunctioned several times, making it difficult to get in at times. Some of the beach chairs were pretty run down as well. We still enjoyed our stay, as we were with good company and enjoy the beach!

Great place to stay!

A really nice place with a super location close to the beach and Newport pier. A lot of restaurants and bars really close by. Only a few minutes walk away. We had a nice week at the property and hopefully we will return the next time we´re visiting Newport. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone thinking of visiting Newport Beach and SoCal.

David was the best Host we have ever had! And the Location is Awesome

David was on top of his game. His communication was wonderful. He emailed detailed info for the pre-trip, the arrival, the stay and the departure. He text me his personal cell phone with alternate contacts just in case we needed something and he wasn't available. He even bought us dinner! The property couldn't be any closer to the action. Literally across the street from all of the beach restaurants and bars. A block away from the beach and the fishing pier. The property was clean and spacious for a 2 bed home. And to make it better, we had two parking spots in an area that is tough to find parking!

In the Middle of the Action

This beach property has lovely decor. The room with the king bed was very comfy; however, the other large room with two full beds has "not so comfortable mattresses". The on suite bath is very large and the walk in closet is organized. The location is in the middle of the action, but it is on the main, busy street and is noisy.

We loved it here!

We had a really great time. The home is perfect for a Newport Beach vacation. Location is close to everything, we only used our car once to go to the grocery store and walked everywhere else. Beds are very comfortable, washer and dryer were convenient. We had everything we could need. The Owner was attentive, and kind. They make access very simple. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect after work get away - GREAT LOCATION

Was in the area for work for a week but wanted to forego the mundane of hotel living. This beach bungalow was the perfect spot. Not only is the location stellar for being able to easily walk to the beach, the pier and numerous restaurants, but the interior was very cozy and chiche with everything you need to be comfortable away from home. The king sized bed was like a cloud and I looked forward to laying my head down each night. The porch is great for people watching and getting a little bit of afternoon sunshine. David was very responsive to questions and we really appreciated the shampoo, soap and coffee provided. We also greatly appreciated the 100.00 gift card to Mastro's. It was a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely return.

location, location, location

Great location - walked to the beach and restaurants each day. And access to beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and boards was awesome! The space was perfect and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony to enjoy the cool breeze. Great place to stay near Balboa.

Nice accommodation in the centre of Newport Beach. Very attentive host

The property was very clean, modern and very central for restaurants and beach. The only downside of the location is it being very close to the main road through Balboa therefore can be noisy at times. David was very attentive in dealing with a couple of minor issues we faced at the beginning of the stay.

Great location for a vacation!

Our family of five, which includes three teens, had a wonderful 4-night stay at the end of February and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything was comfortable and felt like home by Day 2. The location is perfect and, after seeing how close the beachfront rentals are to each other as well as the beach walk, we prefer this location - which is just a couple of blocks from Newport Pier (you can see it from the windows). We were glad to leave our rented minivan in the garage the whole time and we could walk everywhere. Within two blocks are plenty of restaurants and the grocery store, Pavilions, is only a half mile walk. We also walked along the beach walk two of the days to Balboa Pier (a little less than 2 miles) and ate at Ruby's, took a Segway tour of Balboa Peninsula, and did a whale watch. We also walked over to the opposite side of the bay and rented a Duffy boat. (Groupon has a ton of offers for Newport Beach.) The condo is well appointed and has plenty of space. Toiletries were also included! You can tell that a lot of attention to detail has been put into this property. Yes, there is some wear & tear (e.g. carpet) but it is what you can expect from any popular property near the beach (especially if guests don't heed to the "leave your shoes at the door" sign -- we always travel with indoor flipflops at hotels and rentals for this reason anyways!). Our teens stayed in the back bedroom with the two beds and thought it was a great space. The lack of door to the sink/shower area threw them off at first but they worked around it. The king size bed in the other room was super soft and comfy - we were pleasantly surprised as we usually prefer a firmer mattress. There were TVs in both rooms plus the living room. For some reason, all the TVs were plugged into the wall but unplugged in the back when we arrived. We were able to figure out all but one. It wasn't important enough to contact the owner, David; however, we are sure he would have responded right away if we did. The wireless was not working when we arrived and he got back to us within minutes after contacted and we were able to connect. We also used the washer/dryer before leaving, which was great to have available for use (and ended up, in hindsight, as a necessity as after our flight out of LA was cancelled due to a noreaster and we unexpectedly ended up in LAX hotels for three nights after we left Newport Beach). All in all, highly recommend!! We loved our stay!

Excellent location right in the middle of everything!

Once you arrive you really don't have to drive again once you get settled in. This VRBO is right next to the beach, restaurants, bars and pretty much any kind of food you can think of. The grocery store is about a half mile away. We spent quite a bit of time on the deck enjoying people watching and the views both during the day and at night. I will hopefully get the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

Great Place!

We checked in on 2/14/18. The house was perfect. The owner (David Pham) is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a perfect location if you like the beach because it's only a short block from the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunset from the front balcony. Love it. Anh Nguyen

Location, location, location! 30 second walk to the beach and restaurants - Great owner

The owner was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The property is a little worn down, but very clean. The rental has two parking spaces, but you'll need a medium-sized sedan or smaller to fit in either the garage or driveway. Fortunately, there is a city parking lot across the street that we were able to park at. Giving this one a 5-star rating because of its location, price and accommodating owner.
