The property was excellent. Clean, comfortable beds, great showers. The location was superb! All food stores and shop are within walking distance as well as the walled City of Lucca. Highly recommend this VRBO.

A perfect HOUSE!

This appartment was very pleasant and very well located. It could accommodate four people comfortably. Parking was very easy and not far at all from the "wall" of Lucca!

Great stay

This was a great place to stay and a great location. All of the locals are very kind. Chiara was very responsive and helpful. Location is easy walking distance from the walls of Lucca. It was nice to have a kitchen to cook for a couple of meals and a washing machine to clean our clothes. We would definitely come back here.

Lovely apartment 10 minute walk from Lucca city walls

Apartment was a great size, good facilities, lovely terrace space, car park space - just what we needed! Building work on the roof was a bit inconvenient in terms of noise and dust, but we were offered an alternative apartment.

Very nice apartment in historic district

Nice enough apartment within easy reach of the walls. However the apartment being on the middle floor suffered noise from neighbours above and workshop below. Noises from 5/5.30am. I guess this is to be expected from an historic building. Apartment is spacious and well equipped for two people. Nice balcony area but looks onto neighbouring roof! We feel the apartment would benefit from a refresh, however, we did enjoy our time there. Not too far from the station for visit to Pisa. Lovely restaurant across the road from the apartment - would recommend.

Very nice apartment, but a bit of a walk to the city center. Make clear which hosts are on duty on which days. Also electrical appliances did not have proper adapters for the outlets.

Gorgeous Lucca Home

Cristina was great! The place was so spacious and comfortable, it made being away from home easier. The location is outside the walls of Lucca but was actually a better option as we were able to bike 5 minutes into the walls. Cristina’s recommendation on a local bakery was absolutely delicious and a must try. Quick responses and even provided new detergent and universal wall chargers when asked. Amazing place. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! :)

The perfect apartment in the perfect Tuscany town

The apartment was exceptional - beautifully furnished & very spacious. It has a large kitchen area and laundry which is wonderful for a long term stay. The outside terrace is a real bonus - a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or some quiet time at home. The service we received from the property manager Chiara was exceptional. She is extremely helpful & responsive. The location of the apartment is perfect - a five minute walk to the city walls. Around the apartment are shops, bakery, restaurants - even a hairdresser across the road who was very good. All in all our experience with Lucca apartments has exceeded our expectations.

Great parking good position excellent local shops

The dishwasher did not work. Laundry very tight. The host seemed to know nothing about the property and was uninterested. Sitting area was tight. There was one sofa only, no footstools, no arm chair so not easy to relax at the end of a long day walking. Verandah was great, luckily. Could be an excellent base with a bit more effort and generosity of furniture.

Smells

As soon as we entered the strong musty smell hit us. I even asked the owner what the smell was and she said they just did laundry. However, the smell was throughout the apartment. I was getting a bad headache within the hour because of the smell. Also, the pictures of the living area is not what was in the room. The couches were covered with a red blanket like material. Not appealing at all.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Wohnung in Gehweite zum Zentrum

Wir waren zu viert (nur Erwachsene) für eine Woche in dieser Wohnung. Sie liegt sehr ruhig abseits der Verkehrsstraße. Zu Fuß sind es bis zum Innenstadtrand zehn, zum Bahnhof etwa 25 Minuten. Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Trattorien gibt es in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit sicherem Parkplatz fürs Auto.

casa con tutti i comfort, vicinissima alle mura, a 10 minuti a piedi da piazza Anfiteatro. per strada si trovano tanti negozi di generi alimentari, un bar e un tabacchi. Vi è davvero di tutto! consiglio vivamente questa struttura!

Hostess was personable, responsive to inquiries, detailed explanation at check in on apartment and Lucca. Beds very comfortable . Couch in living room is worn on sitting part, unable to fluff the cushions therefore becomes very hard surface

Almost perfect!

This property is situated outside the walls, but just a short walk into the Centro Storico. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable, but here are a couple of things that could use improvement, in my opinion. First, there was only one set of keys for two couples, which meant we had to be together at all times, or someone had to remain home to let the others in. Inconvenient. Second. The old, soiled sweat stained pillows in the bedrooms need to be replaced. It would be nice if an extra pillowcase could be provided in case you wanted an extra pillow. Third. It would be nice if you could provide a clean sponge in the kitchen. I had no idea what was being wiped up with the very old one that was there. I don't mean to nit pick, but this last two things were a real turn off. Four. With a large parking area, it would have been nice to be able to park our two cars nearby, rather than one a ten minute walk away, parked on the street. In general, we loved our stay in Lucca and at this apartment, but it just fell short of being excellent.

Die Wohnung ist genauso toll wie auf den Fotos. Die Terrasse ist recht großzügig, aber leider ohne Aussicht. Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt, um Lucca zu Fuß zu erkunden und aufgrund des Parkplatzmangels ist der Privatparkplatz perfekt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und Maria Pia hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen.

Patio/terrace was wonderful for hot days

Renting arrangements and handover excellent; internet connection problem fixed promptly by a technician. Lots of useful local information. Good parking on site (mixed properties including businesses and derelict buildings) but easy 10 minute walk past huge mix of local shops to the city walls. Bit disappointed only 3 seater settee for 4 people and very dark and gloomy but were able to spend most time, including eating, outside although chairs and tables have seen better days, and could do with more cutlery. Bathrooms and bedrooms ok but towels rather thin. Overall had a great time.

Lucca stay

Apartment in residential block. Early morning noise heard but then quiet rest of day and night. Good shops and some restaurants in street. Bus station closest but good walk to train station from apartment. Lovely terrace to sit in and enjoy the sun which really made this apartment a good choice.
