Nuestra amplia pero cálida casa de 5 dormitorios con vistas al lago magníficos y muelle privado es el refugio perfecto para la familia o punto de encuentro para los grandes amigos. Se ajusta cómodamente a 13 personas y ofrece lo mejor de la vida del lago combinado con entretenimiento para el hogar y la cocina de un chef gourmet.

Impecablemente cuidada y muy bien equipadas, espaciosa casa cuenta con 5 dormitorios, 4. 5 baños, acceso directo al lago, kayak, tomar el sol, la relajación, wifi, experiencia multimedia inmersivas, cocina gourmet, múltiples actividades al aire libre y entretenido, parrilla de acero inoxidable de 5 quemadores, juegos, sótano terminado.

Mientras llamamos a nuestra casa "The Summer Wind", hay una gran cantidad de actividades en cada temporada. Fuera de todo lo que ofrece la vida en el lago en el verano, el área de Catskill cuenta con algunas de las mejores hojas que se asoman. Desde la unidad hasta el Taconic y vistas sobre el lago, a todas las caminatas locales. Las caminatas varían en dificultad y conducen a los tesoros y cascadas de Hudson. Hay una gran cantidad de granjas a poca distancia para la recolección de manzanas y calabazas, además de frutas y verduras frescas. We had such a great girl's weekend here. House was so beautiful and cozy. Location is a short drive to shops and restaurants. Nicole was very communicative and a welcoming host. I would highly recommend.

The house is amazing! Clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. This was our second time staying here and we were already talking about next time. It has everything you could need and more. The location is great and there's so much to do at the house you don't need to leave. Very family friendly with lots of toys, plastic plates/cups, books, games. Great communication with the hosts and they provide lots of ideas for restaurants and things to do.

This was a wonderful home & worked amazingly well for me & 3 of my friends. The house was very clean, well laid out and met our all our needs for the week. And starting each day with a morning kayak was heavenly. The location was also great – lots of cute, interesting villages to explore. And Nicole & Dave were very responsive and easy to work with!

There were 10 of us. The house was fantastic. Just about everything was needed was there. The owners thought about almost everything. They had kayaks for just about everybody. stand up boards,fire pit, xbox, media room, ping pong, air hockey, numerous different levels with decks to relax on. The dining room was huge and had a very large table that accommodated all of us. There are 2 pools in the community, tennis courts, pickle ball courts and a basketball court. No one was bored. Would definitely consider staying there again

Fantastic trip

This property was excellent. My family and I enjoyed the lake, pools, hiking trails, restaurants, drive-in movie, farmers market, and kayaking. The kitchen had all the necessary cookware to cook meals for our large group. We had 1 night of bad weather, but it was perfect for watching a movie in the basement. I also appreciated the way the owners left labels and instructions in the house. It may sound silly, but it was very helpful to know what the switches were for or note where we could find things. Overall, it was a fantastic property, community, and surrounding area!

excellent getaway for big families

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house with our family, including both adults and kids. The property was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained — perfect for a relaxing getaway. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves, whether it was lounging indoors or spending time outside near the lake.Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth, with clear instructions and no hassle at all. Communication with the host was efficient and friendly throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable.We truly loved the place and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat!

Beautiful home; wonderful hosts!

What a fabulous time we had in this beautiful home! Girls reunion - we have known each other since sleep away camp which started when we were nine! This was a perfect getaway - easy drive from Boston and from Tarrytown. Can't say enough about this home - it is fully stocked with everything we could have ever needed: games, kitchen appliances (multiple coffee makers), kitchen gadgets, spices, pots and pans, wine glasses, etc. Truly anything! In addition, the hosts were wonderful communicators - answering any questions immediately and checking in on their own to make sure we didn't need anything. Even greeted us with a wonderful welcome basket with treats and wine! In our experience that it above and beyond the norm and very much appreciated. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we weren't able to use the boats on the lake, but the home offers beautiful views and comfortable couches and chairs so it made it very easy to be inside and feel the serenity. Many thanks to Nicole and Dave - great trip!!

A fantastic homebase for Catskills adventures

Nicole & David have a beautiful property nestled away in a cozy neighborhood that was prefect for the weekend trip my friends & I took. We felt immediately at home upon arrival and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed, from an awesome curated list of places to check out nearby to making the most of our time at the house. I couldn't recommend their property enough, all of our first thoughts when leaving was how amazing it would be to come back in the summer.

Beautiful house, great stay

I booked this house for a girls weekend, there 6 of us and we had such a nice Time. I had excellent and clear communication with Nicole and Dave, the house was very clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this house for your next getaway in that area.

Wonderful family gathering spot

This lovely lake house felt more updated and larger than the pictures suggest for our Fall trip! There was plenty of space for our 8-person, multi-generational family gathering, and the layout was very conducive to both together-time and breaks. We enjoyed the large dining room table for a big family dinner cooked in the high-end kitchen, after which we retired to the great room, which was more spacious than expected, with a perfect lake view. The ground floor bedroom was great for some elderly family members, and the rest of the bedrooms accommodated all preferences, easily (and were accurately described in the listing). All rooms in the house felt recently updated and modern. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The location is close enough to everything we wanted to do, with at least one adorable farm shop within a 10-minute drive. We braved the colder temperatures for some lake kayaking from the perfectly situated deck (with a kayak launch and plent of equipment). Strongly recommend!

Stunningly beautiful and peaceful

A group of 13 women booked a weekend away to relax unwind and have fun. This home and the hosts did not disappoint in any way. This is in incredibly beautiful house with ample room and so many amenities. The pictures don’t give you the full effect of how gorgeous it is! You truly feel like you are home away from home! The hosts were super accommodating and keep the property beautifully with clear instructions and organized supplies! Recommend highly!

Wonderful Place

We were there for outdoor activities and leaf peeping. Both went very well. The house itself was more than large enough for our four couples. The very functional kitchen had high end applicances and was large and well stocked. The neighborhood was very quiet and conducive to running/walking/cycling. The nearby Catskills had lots of interesting hikes. We went to a surprisingly good winery (whitecliff) on a rainy day Hosts responded very quickly to all queries. The only downside is that there is no grocery shopping nearby, but that is expected in a rural area. We'll probably come back in the summer when there are many lake activities to participate it.

Beautiful Lake House

Girls weekend

The house was perfect! We had a girls weekend and there was plenty of space, activities, and amenities. We loved the kayaks and SUP. The house its self was spacious and clean. The owners were so kind and quick to communicate! While we didn’t have kids with us- most of us plan to re-book with our families! There are so many great family activities like games, toys, and movies.

The house is gorgeous, clean, and well equipped. We loved the playroom downstairs and all of the perfect places to sit and look out at the lake. We didn't do any day trips because we just wanted to spend time at the house and on the lake!

Perfect Family Vacation

This was our 4th year staying at Camp Summer Wind. It is a beautiful home on a quiet area of the lake. The location is perfect for relaxing on the water or being able to use the other amenities available (pool, tennis courts, etc). The pool table and air hockey are great for the kids when taking a break from the heat or on a rainy day. We have also made an annual tradition of going to the local drive in movies during our stay- it is a great area to explore. Nicole and Dave are fantastic hosts. Each year, we continue to be impressed by their availability and quick responses to any questions or needs. Looking forward to returning for our 5th stay next year!

Comfortable, tranquil, beautiful, and FUN!

We 8 adults and 3 children spent a delightful week at Nicole & Dave's home. The 5 BR house is spacious, with lots of spaces inside and out to be together, or alone. TVs and games kept everyone entertained, when not enjoying the surroundings. The lake is calm, and few motor craft use the cove. There are multiple kayacks and a two paddle boards for guests. The gas grill and the kitchen stove worked well, and there are lots of cooking utensils and dinnerware. Finally, Nicole and Dave were welcoming, responsive to our questions, and helpful. Please note: It's a 10 – 20 min. drive to small towns with cafes, restaurants, and shops to enjoy, but no businesses within walking distance, and many places in towns are closed Mon. and Tues. There are parks within a reasonable driving distance where you can hike/walk. However, only a two lane road surrounds the lake with no other walking path in the neighborhood. Lastly, don't forget to pack personal items like beach towels, shampoo and body wash.

Family get-together

The house is a great place for a family gathering. Lots of space both indoors and outdoors for sitting and visiting. Well equipped kitchen. Nice to have plenty of bathrooms so no waiting. Hosts were very responsive.

Grandpa loves cooking on the grill. Dad loves teaching our sons to fish. Mom loves reading a good book by the lake. Grandma likes kayaking with the kids. Mimi loves cooking way too much food for everyone in the kitchen. Poppy loves his bourbon and cigar in the Adirondack chair. Uncle Pete loves being close to two ski resorts, Uncle Freddy loves the quick weekend escape from Brooklyn, and Uncle Mike looks forward to visiting from LA.
