Maravilloso condominio frente al canal! Trae tu barco!

Esta hermosa y cómoda unidad tiene 1 dormitorio y sala de estar con sofá cama para que pueda acomodar fácilmente a 4 personas. Tiene una vista maravillosa de la bahía y el muelle propio, por lo que los clientes pueden traer su barco.

Cabana Beach Club es un complejo muy pequeño con solo 12 unidades y ofrece una gran privacidad. El Golfo de México está al otro lado de la carretera, es una caminata muy corta. La comunidad tiene su propia piscina también.
La unidad está totalmente equipada, encontrará todo lo que necesita: utensilios de cocina, cubiertos, ollas y sartenes, toallas, sábanas, sillas de playa, etc. Canal de TV y WIFI.

La propiedad se encuentra directamente en un canal, además hay un muelle justo enfrente, así que no hay problema con el agua del barco.

Our little staycation gem.

This was our 3rd time back to one of our favorite little getaways. We had our friend rent out the two end units, so i was nice having everyone together. Of course, I love having my boat right out the back door as well. We all went to dinner by water, twice. We all enjoy how sleep Longboat Key is.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. Decided to make a last minute long weekend trip to Longboat key and this was just perfect. Peaceful bayside and view with just a short walk to the beach. Accommodations were just as described and pictured. We would come back again but hoping to have our own place in parodies soon

Would love to come back!

Great directions for the parking and locating the unit- we miss the place already! A short walk across the beach and easy drive into town. The back canal was beautiful to wake up to. When we come back to town we will 1000% stay here!

Has a canal view,beach,and pool all within a few steps. Completely equipped for cooking,beach,pool or just relaxing. Onsite laundry was a great convenience. The unit was spotless and easy to use.

Best of Both Worlds

Park your car at the front door and dock your boat at the back door. This condo is across from the beach, and right on the canal - it's clean, comfortable, super convenient, and close to some great restaurants. If you're planning a family reunion or vacation with friends, consider renting the units on each side of this one too, you'll have the whole place to yourselves.

Peaceful get away

The place was clean and updated. The location was very convenient. The management was very responsive. Manatees sleep in the canal every day for long periods of time. Very cool. Will return.

Great property, great location and super clean!

We loved the privacy which is usually hard to find when renting a condo. You could walk to some great restaurants. We had access to the dock which was nice because we brought our boat there is also room to park your trailer which is a bonus! Would definitely be back.

Last minute Anniversary trip

The property and location was perfect! The unit is very clean and is decorated very nice. We saw manatee every day off the dock! The beach is right across the street and has beach chairs which is very convenient. Host was perfect in responding to questions and incredibly accommodating. I definitely recommend this area and unit!!

Perfect stay

This is our third time staying in these one-bedroom houses. They are always well decorated and filled with useful items. Perfect walking distance to Cannons marina if you want to rent a boat, and across the street from the property pool/beach access. The owner was out of town but made sure to reach out and give us the contact info of their assistant who was BEYOND helpful, from addressing a small leak in the kitchen sink (same day within 2hrs of contacting her and while we were out at dinner), to helping us with a left-behind item. The only BYO items we brought was spices, and basics like ketchup and mustard and nonstick spray; Publix is super close for any other items you might need. 10/10 we will continue to stay here whenever we are in Longboat.

Tranquility

We enjoy Longboat and the it’s tranquility. Staying across the road from the beach was fine for us. The patio and dock was great and looking out in to the canal was peaceful. The pool , beach and laundry are across the highway but it is not hard to get to. The bungalow has been somewhat updated. Some of the vinyl is chipping off a kitchen drawer. The rooms could have had more lighting and a fan in the bathroom needs to be added. All in all it was nice and clean and we would rent it again.

Weekend w friends

This canal front location was perfect. Michaela and Anna couldn’t have been more helpful. Responding quickly with answers. Telling us the closest boat ramp and allowing us to park trailer in parking lot. Having our boat right outside the door was fabulous. The unit was very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed having a full kitchen. We will definitely return. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend.

My wife and Kids stayed at this property for a vacation and due to greed we completely regret ever trusting investment rental properties. In one day one we had two cockroaches and rodent droppings in the pan cub board. We contacted vrbo and the owner because we wanted to leave and the owner stated “ she will do whatever we want.” We decided to leave and request refund and the owner as well as vrbo state that this is not an infestation and it’s not unsafe. We’ll we are from the Midwest and cockroaches and rodent poop is unsafe to us and our kids especially. We were never given a refund and greed has ruined this experience for my family and I. Few other items that one should be aware of, the beds are not comfortable at all, the beach was very weedy. I don’t care if someone in the warm climates believes cockroaches are normal, people should have the right to leave a rental if they believe it is not safe, especially for children. This is so sad that the property owner chose greed over ethics.

Underwhelmed

The location of the property was pleasant and worked well for our needs when we were in town. However, there were a number of glitches that affected our stay: - Toilet had not been cleaned - Not enough toilet paper - TV in bedroom did not work - It would have been helpful to have instructions on how the main TV worked. We eventually figured it out. - Water and ice filter on the refrigerator did not work - Password to WiFi Written on welcome blackboard was incorrect. Eventually we found it in the information binder, which was disorganized with pages out of order or falling out. - Owner said extra sheets would be in the closet for the foldout couch. They weren’t there and it was not until the day we left that we happened to see them in one of the drawers. - The owner did not tell us ahead of time that she was going to be out of the country. When we contacted her to ask if someone could assist us with our issues above, she gave us the name and number of someone else. When I contacted that person, she said she was having difficulty understanding what we were asking, but she would come over. She never did. All in all, nice setting but we were disappointed by the glitches.

Disappointed and Deceived

Ongoing construction really tainted our stay. The listing shows a beautiful deck/dock and canal frontage with awesome view, none of which we were able to enjoy during our stay. Instead 2 large construction barges where docked right of in front of the place as they repaired the seawall and attached boat house. None of this of course was disclosed to us prior to us driving ~1000 miles arriving for our stay. We would have looked elsewhere had we known. I contacted the property manager and she tried to gloss over it (saying they weren't supposed to work much over the holiday, etc), and she was obviously not getting it. We made the best of it though and enjoyed our stay as much as we could. We travel a lot and property mangers have always notified us ahead of time of any ongoing construction and discounted the rate accordingly... neither of which was done in this case. Several maintenance items needed. many of which are mentioned in other reviews. You would think they would be addressed since many have been there for some time now, but I guess not. - Toilet simply needs to be replaced. Water stains make it appear dirty, and literally have to hold lever down for 10 seconds until tank fully empties to get it to flush. Replace the toilet already! - No TV in bedroom, but is in the closet. Seems to have been broke for some time. - Ice/Water in refer door does not work. Otherwise its a nice fridge. - Dishwasher old and loud as heck. Its a one bedroom unit so you can imagine. - 3 different WiFi passwords in 3 different places. The correct one is on sticker on left inside of packet, not the one on the sheet on right. Just unnecessary confusion - Had to call to get cable fixed. Was promptly taken care of. - Exterior light was broke. Guess it happened to be on maintenance list as it was fixed halfway though our stay without mentioning. We loved the location, easy access to beach, canal was nice (ignoring the eyesores). It was clean, well equipped etc. Would stay in complex again, just sure on this unit. Wish the property manager would have been upfront and honest about ongoing construction. Hopefully an honest review will help future guests.

Work-cation perfection

My husband and I decided to work from Florida for about 11 days so we could enjoy the weekends in warmer conditions. The apt was perfect for the amount of time we needed it. So nice to have the canal in front and beach access across the street. Free laundry was a plus. Within a mile walk to some stores and restaurants and bike rentals. The apt was clean and the bed was comfy. So happy we booked it again for next year.

We needed a getaway together for about 4 or 5 days and this was the perfect solution. We relaxed and enjoyed the canal (watching manatees and dolphins). The beach and Gulf were amazing - comfortable water temp, nice breeze and great sun. Delightful getaway.
