Casa amplia (150 m2), ideal para 4 personas, con calefacción central. Dispone de una cocina grande (pueden comer en ella cómodamente 6 personas), completamente dotada (nevera, cocina, horno, menaje completo de cocina, lavadora, etc. Tiene dos dormitorios con camas dobles de matrimonio, un cuarto de baño y un cuarto de aseo, salón grande (de mas de 30 m2 ) con cadena de sonido. Hay conexión a internet. Dispone de una gran terraza con vistas a La Alhambra, a la sierra y al barrio en 360 grado, sin obstáculos visuales.Es una casa tradicional, con escaleras, por lo que NO ES APROPIADA PARA PERSONAS CON DIFICULTADES EN SU MOVILIDAD

El Albaycín es un barrio de gran personalidad, que da una de las mayores señas de identidad a Granada. Situado en una ladera frente a la Alhambra. Está configurado por una red de calles estrechas y laberínticas donde es fácil y sugerente pasear; calles que dan a pequeñas plazas escondidas, llenas de ambiente.

Por sus características especiales, solo se admiten bebés y niños a partir de 12 años


ACCESO: taxi y autobus.
El Albaicin es un barrio de origen árabe, por lo que hay calles estrechas de difícil acceso a coches.
Recomiendo dejar el vehículo en un aparcamiento en el centro de Granada y subir en taxi (la primera vez).

Tiene alrededores muy interesantes: ciudades como Guadix (famosa por sus cuevas-vivienda), Loja Las Alpujarras granadinas, el Valle de Lecrín.Y un poco más lejos, Córdoba , Jaen y Sevilla.
Granada es típica por su 'tapeo' en bares.
Y si gusta el flamenco, se puede disfrutar de sus 'zambras', un acercamiento al flamenco granaino

Holiday in Granada

This is a very interesting house to stay in. In a fabulous area of Granada. We enjoyed exploring the narrow streets and getting lost numerous times. The house was comfortable and there was everything we needed. The roof terrace was amazing with wonderful views across to the Alhambra. Thanks to Victoria for welcoming us to this delightful place. This house is one of the most charming and interesting places that we have stayed at. I loved the decor and discovered new things everyday. You can easily feel immediately at home. Getting around is not hard once you get used to the neighborhood. You should not, however, have significant physical impairment. The property is not in immediate reach by automobile.

Authentic stay in the Albaicin

Our 2 week stay in Victoria's house in the old quarter of Granada was amazing. The view from the living room window and roof-top deck of the Alhambra was fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the beds were very comfortable. The house was conveniently located to explore the Alhambra, Sacramonte and downtown.

Wonderful house with amazing view

We enjoyed our holiday in this very nice house in the middle of Albaicin very much. Everything we needed was available. Victoria was also very kind and very helpful. The amazing view from the roof is unforgettable. We are sure to spend our holidays at Victorias house again.

Wonderful house in the Albaicin

My wife and I spent three wonderful weeks in the Casa Victoria in March. The house is exactly as advertised. It is comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and the views from the roof terrace are spectacular. It is a short walk to the center of the Albaicin and ten minutes from the center of town. Victoria was the perfect host, extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions and she gave us great recommendations of places to eat and things to see. Highly recommended for visitors to Granada.

Wonderful place to stay in Granada

By far the most spectacular place we have stayed in Spain, this house in the Albaycin neighborhood has it all: wonderful views, interesting architecture, fabulous decor, and breathtaking daytime and nighttime views of the Alhambra (to which no picture can do justice). Despite the close proximity to the town center, we found it a quiet and pleasant place to sleep at night, as well as an enjoyable place to have a late night rooftop drink after a full day of walking, sightseeing, or shopping, to unwind while taking in the view. The interior stairway (which makes it a "carmen") might make this a tough place for those with mobility issues, but for those who are active it posed no problem and contributes to the "wow" factor. Highly recommended.

A wonderful house to experience Granada

Like the neighbourhood of Albaicin and the city of Granada, this house has many wonderful layers and textures to enjoy. From the dark wood and tile of the kitchen, up through the atrium to the bedrooms and sun-filled salon to the brilliant rooftop, each stair and turn reveals a new sight or object of interest. The views of the Alhambra, Sacromonte, neighbourhood and city are varied and breathtaking on a bright day. The house is well equipped and lovingly decorated. (It even has a sharpening stone for the kitchen knives). The area is quiet and restricted from vehicles but very close to attractions, restaurants and services. The hosts were very helpful in meeting us and providing information and assistance that enhanced our stay. We would gladly stay here again.

Exceeded my expectations - a fantastic place!

This triplex house is situated right in the Albaycin - one of the most ancient and historic parts of the city. The house itself is beautifully furnished and quintessentially authentic to the charms of the region and the style. It was cool, spacious and beautifully maintained. The best part is the deck - a huge, planted terrace overlooking the Alhambra and all the surrounds, with birds singing and musicians strumming below. Victoria was very helpful and responsive and because she was out of town when I arrived, had a friend meet me to greet and show me around the house. Extremely receptive to questions and very friendly. If you are looking for beauty and regional authenticity with a gorgeous view of the city, this is the place for you. Be aware that this part of town is steep and requires walking, so it's for those who love to travel by foot. But that is really Granada as a whole. Thanks Victoria for a remarkable experience.

lovely stay

The house is lovely in the charming historic district of Albaicin. The roof terrace has amazing views of the Alhambra and all Granada, it's a beautiful spot, well worth the many stairs! The beds are really comfy, the kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you could need. This is a lovely base for a holiday in Granada, but you do need to be fit, as a short walk can involve lots of climbing hills. Victoria is a welcoming host and answered any questions promptly before the visit. She was away during our visit and her friend kindly met us and walked us to the house from the meeting point. The house is well positioned for touring the Albaicin district, but please be aware there are lots of hills and steep steps here, and pack your suitcase light. The walk into the centre is downhill and takes 10-15 minutes, there are plenty of bars and restaurants locally and throughout the city, beautiful squares to stop and watch the world go by and some amazing architecture. You will need to book Alhambra tickets well in advance, only guided tours were available 10 weeks in advance, but we were so glad we had an excellent guide and were amazed by the beauty of Alhambra and Generalife. We had a wonderful 4 night stay during Holy Week, but if you visit at the same time, be aware that the roads close early most evenings for the processions and you will have to walk back up the hill as there is no transport. Thank you Victoria for letting us stay in your home for a wonderful stay, we hope to return to Granada soon

Quiet and authentic Albayzin - with stunning views

This was a lovely place to stay. The house is situated in the heart of the Albayzin and is traditional in style, with an open courtyard in the centre. It has many original features which provide a very authentic experience of the Albayzin and its special culture. There is plenty of space, with a large kitchen/dining room, good sized bedrooms, a large sitting room and a roof terrace. The house is clean and very well kept, and is provided with everything you need. We were initially surprised that there is no TV, but actually this is a good thing, especially if you are looking to get away from it all. In terms of location, the house is convenient to walk to anywhere in the Albayzin and close to shops, bars and restaurants. It is close to the 31 bus route which operates a very regular service into the centre, and also the 35 bus which will take you to Sacramonte. It is a 10-15 minute walk to Plaza Nueva. The streets around the house are mostly stepped, so there is very little traffic and so very quiet and peaceful. We must mention the spectacular view of the Alhambra from the terrace. It is the same view as from the famous Mirador San Nicholas, but closer and more immediate - and, of course, it is all yours - and easy to enjoy at sunrise, during the day, at sunset, and while the Alhambra is lit up at night. Quite wonderful. Victoria is very friendly, and was extremely helpful both before and during our stay. We had a great week here and I would highly recommend it.

Incredible!

This was my second stay here, and it remains one of my favorite places on earth. The house is decorated with antiques and taste -- so far from the typical IKEA rental units one gets used to. Everything you could possibly need is provided -- just unpack and enjoy. There are views of the Alhambra from every floor -- a peek of it in the kitchen, and grand view in the living room, and that terrace! The pictures don't do it justice. My only warning is that the place is hard to get to -- no car access, and the rooms are all on different levels so there are lots of stairs. If you have mobility issues, this isn't the place. But if you want the nicest view in the Albaicin, the climb is worth it.

Fantastisk byhus i Albaizin, Granada

Vi ledte efter et historisk sted i Albaicin, Granada som kunne være vores hjem i 14 dage. Vi fandt det her. Der skulle være udsigt til Alhambra, helst fra en terrasse. Vi fandt det mest fantastiske sted her. Smukt dekoreret. omgivet af blomster. Den bedste udsigt over Alhambra og Sierra Nevada. Der skulle være gode indkøbsmuligheder. Vi havde fem minutters gang til: Lokalt marked, to bagere, fiskehandlere, flere små supermarkeder med slagtere, meget lokale restauranter og tapas bar ect. Men først og fremmest, vi levede i det mest fantastiske og urbane hus, midt i Albaizin. Med sin egen åbne atriumgård, indrettet i lokal stil med alle faciliteter. Vi var i Spanien. I tilgift det mest fantastiske værtspar, der gjorde, at man bare følte mig hjemme. Vores nye venner, Victoria og Jonaro, I gjorde vores ophold til en oplevelse for livet, og vi håber at vende tilbage. Ulla & Allan Olsen, Danmark

Beatifull, well located urban house in Albaizin

We were looking for a historic place in the Albaicin, Granada which could be our home for 14 days. We found it here. There had to be overlooking the Alhambra, preferably from a terrace. We found the most amazing place her. Beautifully decorated. surrounded by flowers. The best view over Alhambra and Sierra Nevada. There should be good shopping opportunities. Five minutes walk we had: Local market, two bakers, fishmongers, several small supermarkets with butchers, very local restaurants and tapas bar ect. But first and foremost, we lived in the most amazing and urban house, in the middle af Albaizin. With its own beautifully open atrium, furnished in local style with all facilities. We were i Spain. In addition, the most amazing Host Couple, which did that one just felt at home. Our new friends, Victoria and Jonaro, you made our stay an experience of a lifetime, and we hope to return. Niente di meglio!

Casa antica, molto bella e con grande personalità, situata in zona pedonale nel cuore dell'Albaicin. La proprietaria vive qui per parte dell'anno e quindi la casa è attrezzata di tutto quello che può servire. Terrazza con vista sull'Alhambra (ma anche sul Sacromonte, sulla Sierra e sul Barrio) insuperabile. Victoria è stata super ospitale e gentilissima, ci ha dato utilissimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare nei dintorni di Granada e, non riuscendo a trovare online i biglietti per l'accesso all'Alhambra, si è preoccupata di andare due volte all'Ufficio del Turismo per nostro conto ad acquistare un carnet (anticipando i soldi) per visitare l'Alhambra e altri luoghi turistici. Super!

UNA ESCAPADA INOLVIDABLE

Férias inesquiecíveis

É uma casa maravilhosa em pleno coração de Granada (10 minutos caminhando do centro), com uma vista deslumbrante a Alhambra. A arquitetura impresiona, a cada lugar que se entra é uma surpresa. We spent New Years eve there. It is the most charming house, very typical spanish and typical in the albaicin, Beautiful furnishings and immaculately clean. There is a private roof top terrace with views of alhambra which is spectacular at night and it was amazing to see the fireworks from there. Was so sad to leave ..we will definitely be back! Thanks Victoria!

Mejor aún de lo que esperábamos

No es una casa de alquiler, es la de los propietarios perfectamente amueblada y equipada y además una casa magnífica. Las vistas directas a la Alhambra, Sierra Nevada y la ciudad de Granada son mejores que las de cualquier mirador de la ciudad. La situación también es muy buena, en un barrio típico pero a cuatro pasos del centro de la ciudad. En fin, realmente increible

L'Alhambra nel cuore e negli occhi

Da quattro anni io e mia moglie trascorriamo una settimana di sogno in questa deliziosa casa immersa nel quartiere arabo dell'Albaycin. Anche se il quartiere pullula di caratteristici ristoranti, noi preferiamo prepararci la cena qui in casa per poter mangiare nella meravigliosa terrazza posta proprio di fronte all'Alhambra. Uno degli spettacoli più incantevoli d'Europa! Victoria (la proprietaria) organizza tutto perché il soggiorno sia perfetto: la casa è pulitissima e ha un grazioso patio interno pieno di piante.

estupendo

Es mucho mejor de lo que parecía por las fotos. No es un piso de dos dormitorios, es una magnífica casa con vistas a la Alhambra. Muy recomendable.
