What a beautiful home—every detail was perfect! The kitchen completely raised the bar for all our future trips. We love to cook, and having everything we needed (and more!) made it such a joy. Cooking here was truly a piece of cake. We also noticed and appreciated all the thoughtful touches—they made us feel so welcome and genuinely valued as your guests. The furniture was cozy, the beds were amazing… we felt right at home from the moment we walked in.

Great, spacious home in Northport!

We stayed at the farm house for the weekend of our daughter’s wedding nearby. Loved the spacious bedrooms, updated bathrooms and cozy family room.We will definitely be back for a relaxing stay sometime with friends/family and enjoy all of the outdoor amenities too!

Comfortable, Large and Great Location

Recently spent weekend at the Cherry FarmHouse just after Labor Day weekend. House is plenty large, clean, and very comfortable with all the creature comforts!! Location is excellent being just outside of Northport.. lots of things to do! Owners are very nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful Farmhouse

This is a wonderful property with everything you could need for your stay. The owners have put a lot of care and thought into preparing for guests. The farmhouse is well cared for and beautiful. We had a wonderful, although too short, visit. Would love to return when we can stay longer!

Great vacation home!

The home was cozy and welcoming, everything I expected from the description and the reviews! Gary and Caryn were extremely helpful and accommodating from the minute we made reservations to checkout. We enjoyed the cozy living room with gas fireplace, fully functional kitchen, the updated bathrooms, and plenty of room to accommodate all of the guests. Everyone was happy!

Great Week on Leelanau Peninsula

We had a great week at the Cherry Farmhouse with our 2 boys (2 and 4yrs). The location was great for us to get to all the parks and small towns on the peninsula. There is also plenty to do at the house for adults and kids. The house is stocked with games (indoor and outdoor) for adults and kids - Gary and Caryn even left some toys especially for the boys which they loved. We also made use of the grill, fire pit, tree swing and hammock. Our first experience at a VRBO was a great one, thanks!

Wonderful Home!

This home has everything you could ask for and all are top-notch and in excellent condition. The attention to detail from the outlets & light switches to the appliances to the household supplies is phenomenal. I wish we could have spent more time there; it's in an excellent location with beautiful grounds and a peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this home to families or groups of friends who are looking for a comfortable, well-appointed and conveniently located home.

Farmhouse on a Cherry Farm

Our family rented the property for my parents 70th birthdays. Everything about the place was perfect. Karen and Gary really care about their guests as the house is in perfect shape and there is a ton of stuff to do at the house and around the area. I would strongly recommend for a big group. My parents' birthdays were celebrated in style. Thanks again Kyle

The house was spacious, clean, centrally located and felt like a "home away from home."

Gary and Caryn were very welcoming and informative. The house and property were very clean and well taken care of. Everything we could possibly need was there at the house and the central location enabled us to explore the surrounding areas with little drive time. We had access to shopping, biking, kayaking, fishing, golfing and gambling. Something for everyone in our group! A big thank you to Gary and Caryn, and we hope to visit again.

Beautiful, charming, wonderful.

It was better than advertised! They thought of everything, we didn’t even have to log into our own Netflix, Hulu, or prime account. The Roku was setup and ready to go. My daughter got married at the Northport bay retreat and we rented this property for additional guests. Everyone that stayed there loved it! We had caterers at the retreat for the wedding and they needed a can opener but the one at the retreat did not work, no worries we were able to borrow one from the house and avoid the potential crisis. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home.

Great stay for two families

Our friends were up in Michigan from Florida and we wanted to show them Sleeping Bear. Gary and Caryn's place was an excellent, large house for both our families to stay. They had everything we needed including pack n play and crib for our youngest, games and puzzles around the house, plenty of books and information about the area, and great suggestions for the stay. They also had a fire pit and firewood for us to use. The farm is quite beautiful with many mature trees surrounding the farm house and the ability to walk the orchards. The location is within minutes of Northport, a short drive to Leland/Fishtown, and only about 40 minutes to Sleeping Bear. We had a great trip. Gary and Caryn were very easy to communicate with and responded extremely quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

It feels like home!

We had a great two week rental at the farmhouse. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and cozy. It is so well appointed that it feels like your favorite relative has invited you to watch their home for them while they are away. If someone said "I wish I had...or I should have brought..." our response was "I'm sure whatever you need is already here" (and it always was.). We were able to have two people work remotely on the wi fi without any issues at all. It was the perfect location to work 1/2 days and play on the peninsula every afternoon. You won't regret renting this house! We're already sure we'll be coming back!

70TH Birthdays Getaway

Two of my friends and I reserved the Cherry Farmhouse for a long weekend to celebrate our 70th birthdays. We wanted somewhere special and that's exactly what we found! I have booked and stayed at many vacation rentals over the past few decades, and I can say, without reservation, that I have never stayed at a rental property that was as well equipped as the Cherry Farmhouse! You like coffee? Not only did they provide high quality coffee beans, but they also had a grinder, a drip coffee maker, a keurig, a French press, and a pour-over. This is just one of many examples of how they seem to have literally thought of everything! The home itself is charming, comfortable, cozy, clean. The location is ideal for visiting the towns of Northport, Leland and Sutton's Bay. The hosts stayed in close contact despite being out of the country at the time. They left phone numbers for various family members in the area in case we needed someone local. I highly recommend a stay at the Cherry Farmhouse!

Wonderful Stay!

Our family had an absolute perfect stay at the farmhouse! Owners’ Gary and Caryn welcomed our family upon arrival. It was nice that they shared information about the house and area. To welcome us, they had a bottle of wine from a local winery for us to enjoy. They also provided a package of coffee from a local roaster. The kitchen has everything you would need!! This home was very clean and comfortable. It offered plenty of room for our family of 7. We enjoyed the bird feeders outside the kitchen window. Our 22 month old grandson liked watching the chipmunk who climbed his way to the feeder. The farmhouse was perfectly located to allow us to venture out and enjoy this beautiful area. We highly recommend this vacation home! We would definitely choose this home again and may do so in the future! Gary and Caryn do a fine job ensuring your stay is a fabulous experience. Thank you! We loved your farmhouse!

Great for a group

What a beautiful house! This was the perfect home base for our group of 5 friends as we visited Leelanau wineries. I’ve never stayed in a rental home with such beautiful decor or thoughtful amenities—truly the nicest property I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend!

Amazing house and property for families!

Super clean and spacious home. Perfect for our family! Stayed for a wedding weekend and wish we had more time in this lovely farmhouse. Has everything you need with amazing updates while still keeping the charm of northern Michigan. Easy drive to Northport. Kids loved the tree swing!
