We collect trash on a full time basis for all 15 vacation rentals. It s hired help. While I appreciate the call it would have been collected anyway.. They may have been a bit behind on that day. Our community has approximately 80 vacation rentals now and according to the landfill personnel many guests are directed to take it to the landfill on their own. I ve been incurring this fee free of charge to my guests. I believe it would be best to begin charging a low and reasonable fee. It must be much more convenient to my guests to continue to have it picked up. I m not sure this guest is being reasonable in complaining that the guy just hadn t arrived for pick up yet. As for water pressure, it is community water and the pressure is so great we have to install pressure reducers at each house. This guest didn t let us know. It could be mineral build up in the shower head or a bit of sand. They needent suffer in silence. This can easily get missed by housekeeping as they wouldn t turn full pressure for cleaning purposes. Even though they probably should and I ll instruct them to watch for this. We had no call about this and it could have been an easy fix in just a few minutes. Probably replacement. We could have brought a peeler,peeler,. I ve said before,, our housekeepers are the best,, but they are human. There may have been a peeler a few weeks ago. They get misplaced or broken. That s why we ask guests to let us know as we are very responsive and want to help in any way we can.

It s also unfortunate you didn t inform me of the pool or the stove. We have a team of 15 people . If our pool guy missed something I would have had him there in 5 minutes and problem solved in 15. My husband is an electrician and breakers can weaken ANYTIME. It take 5 minutes to install a new one. We offer 14 vacation rentals here and have a great team. In my view the cushions on the deck are ok, but you could have removed them if you didn t like them . I guess for some guests they prefer to suffer in silence.

I disagree that our properties are not clean. We have a great team that works very hard to ensure that they are clean and I m very much involved. Although we offer 14 properties in the area, I recall very well having 2 employees work until after 11:00 pm to trouble shoot a situation with the hot tub. They succeeded and the guests seemed happy. Mechanical things CAN happen. As for any food items ie Salt, pepper,etc. We do NOT, supply them for safety reasons. If guests leave them behind they are promptly thrown out if opened. The.maids are instructed to leave a " STARTER SUPPLY" of toilet paper( 2 rolls for each bathroom) and one roll of paper towels. Guests are required to supply more if needed. Bath and hand towels and washcloths are New and white and.bleached with each check out. This guest apparently is referring to the multicolored pool towels we provide. They are a bit more worn as they are used for OUTSIDE. They are laundered but get alot of abuse from kids and are meant for fun. If a pan needed to be changed out we are very.accommodating to do that. It may have been missed but was never asked about. The shower head was changed out with a new one shortly after this guest left. It hadn't t been reported or noticed before hand. I also recall this guest calling me and asking if I had a " pack n play". I drove 8 miles to another vacation rental to retrieve one for them only to be told when I brought it that his friends already had one. The swimming pool is vacuumed and chemically treated regularly. It was well used by these guests and I received no complaint that they were unhappy until this review. There are pine needles that blow into the water from the area and a net is left for the guests to use as well. We try very hard to accommodate our guests.

Thanks so much for the positive review. We re close by to bring anything additional the guests might need. I ll be sure to add more grilling utensils. The summer starts out with them but who knows where they go . Maybe worn out and tossed. Thanks for letting me know.
