After the first day I had to get someone who use to work for the company on the brochure to contact the new one to help. After the 1st day. Never got a reply to anything sent. Soap for cleaning, broom for the floors, appliances not working. We overpaid and got no service.

The Grand Venetian grounds are great.The condo itself is worn and kind of grubby.The kitchen is not as pictured ( no peninsula )The gas stove works poorly,knives are dull,pots and pans barely useable,bedding and towels ancient and I could go on...Choose another condo on this pretty property.

Great Family Experience at Grand Venetian

Loved the property and all the special places nearby the Grand Venetian. Taxis are easy to get from concierge. Uber also works great for getting around town if your Spanish is not so bueno. The accommodations were superb and this is the second time we have stayed here without any major issues. Highly recommend for couples or families as all were welcomed by the staff and other guests around the pool. We will be back!

Multigenerational vacation.

The Grand Venetian is a beautiful property and the views from the condo. are amazing. The pool area kept all of us, especially the children, busy for hours. The location is perfect for lots of great restaurants and access to a beautiful beach. Our son and his family who live in PV were able to visit us for family dinners which was an added bonus. Thank you to the gracious hosts.

Family Vacation

Overall impression was this place has not aged well. The cleanliness was far from acceptable. They did offer to send another cleaning crew in, but we were already in and ready to unpack so we cleaned it ourselves. We requested that paper towels and dish soap be supplied and it was delivered that day. There was toothpaste on the bathroom backsplash, food in the microwave, greasy marks on all the cabinets, dust on the dining room table, we were quite disgusted when we arrived. The pictures of the kitchen were not up to date. The kitchen is not functional for a family of 6. We had a great holiday in Mexico, but not as a result of our accommodations.

Vacation

Check in was very frustrating. They didn’t have our name at the gate. It took over an hour to get in. The beds are uncomfortable. The sinks in the master bathroom drain slow. The rod in the master closet needs to be addressed. Overall we had a great time. The condo and the view were great.

Great Family Experience in PV

This was the perfect setup for my family of 4 and mother-in-law to enjoy privacy and relaxation 18 floors above the beautiful waters of Banderas Bay. The complex is very well maintained and the people working at Grand Venetian are all excellent examples of the kind, friendly and very helpful locals that support their entire PV community. Can't wait to come back and will definitely be looking at this sweet option next time we bring the family down. Thanks, Hannah and Cris, for the use of your superb accomodations!

Just okay...

We stayed with 6 kids during late March. Condo was nice. Beds were very hard. Some TV's not set up, have to go purchase your own laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc.. Not pictured in the online picture -condo overlooks service road/parking lot and brown river before ocean. It can be noisy. We had issues with construction on condo above us 4 days in a row - fumes, noise and working late. Had to keep doors closed and couldn't use balcony. Then the next 3 nights the condo below us had all night parties. Smoking, loud music and yelling. Woke up our whole family. Called security multiple times, but it continued to be a problem until 7 am when they finally quieted down. Great location, pools and restaurant. Would stay at the Grand Venetian again but not this unit.

Great place to stay in the center of Savannah

My wife and I stayed for a week. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable, and in the perfect location to walk everywhere in town.

Grand Venetian

Property was everything the pictures show, it’s beautiful. Hanna’s place was very nice. The green bands is a problem, must have on at all times, my son had his break off while boogyboarding and we had to pay $110 to get another one. They need a better option, maybe some lockers to secure this kind of thing when you go on the beach. Restaurant just outside the property is some of the best food we had while there. Checking out was not very clear with the property manager not getting my messages and me not getting hers, we checked out downstairs and left our green bands with them, got clear to the airport when I finally got a message asking me to leave the green bands in the apartment. Need to have checkout instructions written out. No trash bags or dish soap, we had to buy since we we’re cooking a lot. Not a big deal as Walmart is just down the street.

Great location and views

The photos on the site are exactly as it is in real life-beautiful, clean and with stunning views. Close to everything. There were a few repairs that needed to be made while we were there on the shower and the kitchen so the friendly staff was in and out a few times. I appreciated the fact that they helped me stock the kitchen ahead of time and that there is security on the property too. Thank you

2 weeks in Feb 2019 were terrific

This was our 5th stay at the Grand Venetian, but our 1st stay at Hanna's Tower #3 suite 1808 four-bedroom condo. It was a wonderful time. Our email inquiries with the Owner (Hanna) prior to arrival were quickly answered, and the local Property Manger (Crisol) was excellent. Crisol was waiting for us upon arrival, and she answered any Q's during our stay. Check out was equally easy. No issues; we will be back. Highly recommended.

Very nice home with wonderful views of Ocean and Mountain!

Lovely home with breathtaking views of The Bay on the front and mountains from the rear. Very well maintained property and grounds. Wonderful lagoon style swimming pools, (1 heated) very good poolside bar and grill. Good security behind manned gate. We felt very safe, wonderful staff in condo with doormen to assist with cabs. Owner has a property manager that was very responsive to individual needs that arise. Highly recommend this home.

Great location, nice property however lacks some standard amenities

Overall great stay. It was the perfect size for our group of 6 adults. The unit is very nice, modern and clean. As a VRBO owner I am very aware of small conveniences that make a guests' stay more enjoyable. Minor things like bottled water, dishwash detergent, dish soap & sponge, trash bags, paper tissues & laundry detergent in small amounts could have been provided. The closest grocery store is about 1.5 mile away. After loading up with food & drinks at the store and realizing there is no soap to run the dishwasher or even hand wash the dishes was annoying. Additionally we were only provided with 1 towel per person for our 6 day stay and no laundry detergent to wash the towels with. It meant a few additional trips to the store which is not a big issue but could have been avoided if these seemingly standard items were provided. Some of the kitchenware could be updated to make it easier for families to make breakfast or lunch if they choose to do so. Instructions (in English) on how to operate the oven/stove would also be helpful. There was a fire in the unit below us (due to an oven fire) and there were no smoke or carbon monoxide alarms in the unit that warned us of the fire. We woke up from a strong smell of smoke coming from the AC vents & sound of fire trucks so we went to the balcony to see what was happening. When we looked down, we saw hundreds of people on the ground looking up towards us. We grabbed what we could and went downstairs. The fire was safely put out by the fire department but it was a scary experience to say the least. Imagining what could have happened if we did not wake up from the smoke in time... Obviously this is probably an issue the building complex (Grand Venetian) needs to correct and I hope the PV fire department will take a closer look at fire & smoke detectors in the units to keep the residents/guests safe. Puerto Vallarta is a great vacation destination. Grand Venetian has beautiful pools, grounds & is very safe. Uber rides into town or the Marina are less than $3 each way. We really enjoyed the trip other than a few minor inconveniences and a scare with the fire but overall the unit was great and the property manager Cris was very helpful and responsive.

Amazing experience!

Hannah, your place is absolutely gorgeous! We loved staying at your condo so much, we all wished we would have stayed there the complete 10 days we were in Mexico. Everything was so easy! From booking with you, to deposits, to communications from the property management (the welcome note and information was much appreciated), to checking in, checking out and security deposit refund. An amazingly easy experience. Crisol from the management company was extremely accommodating for our arrival. We arrived 2 hours earlier then expected and she allowed us to store our luggage in the unit until the unit was available to check in. Having 4 bedrooms was great for 2 couples. The master suite and other bedrooms were on opposite sides of the unit and allowed for privacy, if wanted. The complete complex was beautiful and well kept. Pools were clean and pool side service from the restaurant was amazing. The location is great and a short cab ride to the flea market, shopping and restaurants. Only had a hiccup regarding the water in the building. We lost all pressure but Crisol was on it and kept us informed on the repair. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it!! Will highly recommend your condo and will definitely book with you again! Thank you for everything!

Great views from the balcony

Love the Grand Venetian. Beds are too hard had trouble with my hips aching as have memory foam bed at home. Kitchen lacked glass bowls that could be used in microwave, no paring knife and vegetable peeler ( went out and bought both but brought them home), no cookie sheet for the oven. Lots of melamine plates and bowls (not microwave safe), lots of plastic drinking cups for kids to use. It is decorated very well. Looks just like the pictures. The balcony furniture and view were wonderful spent lots of time sitting there looking at the view and reading my book.

Wonderful Condo in a Fabulous Complex

Our experience with this condo was amazing. From the communication after we booked, to the quick return of our security deposit after we left. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer!!! Hanna, the condo owner, was quick to answer any questions both prior to and after our stay. Her property manager Cris was also quick to respond. When we arrived at the Condo, we called Cris and she was there within five minutes. She showed us the Condo and the Grand Venetian facilities and answered any questions we had. The Condo was exactly as advertised. There were five adults in our party, so we only needed three of the four bedrooms. But that fourth bathroom came in handy!!! The condo was very clean and well-maintained. The in-condo washer/dryer was also helpful. They were prepared for our visit with good quality towels and a 5-gallon jug of filtered water for our use. There is also a safe in the master bedroom closet that you can use during your stay. This facility has a few different pools, all of which were available for our use. They also have a wonderful restaurant that has great food and great margaritas at a wonderful price. If you want decaf coffee, I recommend bringing a box of Starbucks Via with you. The restaurant will provide the hot water, sugar and cream. Otherwise, expect a bottle of Nescafe instant!!! There is a wonderful restaurant outside the facility next door off the beach that has live music, great food, and wait for it...great margaritas. But make sure you order the Grande!!! One thing about this...there is a door from the Grand Venetian to the beach. Security records your name and suite number when you leave and when you check back in. The only thing is, Security is no longer available to let you in after 8pm. You need to either have a key card (which owners apparently have), or you walk the long way around through the Isla mall. It would be nice if the owner had the key card available for the renters. Similar to the wristbands that all guests need to wear, there could be a penalty if the key card was not left in the unit upon check out. We went to the restaurant once, but probably would have gone more if we had the access card. If you need a Taxi, Security is available in the lobby to order one for you. This is a very nice service to have. But we found we walked most of the time. There are two malls within walking distance. I fully recommend this Condo to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Luxurious, yes, but things could have been better

Luxurious as the first word in the listing says is correct. It is a beautiful unit with amazing views and amenities. The word luxurious also implies hot running water, and lots of it. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case as the unit had a limited supply of hot water. On top of that the water to the unit was shut off on two separate occasions without notice and at the most inopportune time which was just as we were getting ready to go out for dinner. So, we went to dinner one night late waiting for the water to come back on and one night without showering at all after a day at the beach. I tried to work it out with the owner by sharing our groups frustration and giving him the opportunity to share in some of the pain and provide what I thought was a nominal credit in good faith for the inconvenience, but he refused. So that stuck in my mind our last two days, and although we had a good time, this was upsetting. There were a couple other issues that involved having to accommodate the owner and chew up some of our time while we there that was not appreciated. I was cordial the first time when he had to come at a specific time for some items. The second request was to be there for the cable guy, which we came back in from town to accommodate. Waited an hour and he never showed up. In all, we liked the unit but as you can see, we had some issues. Yes, there will always be problems and things that come up, but in the end, it’s how you deal with them when they arise that makes the difference.
