Wonderful stay

Wonderful location and beautiful grounds. Being on a ground floor was so nice because my kids could run around on the lawn as much as they wanted, and they loved looking for geckos. Easy access to the pool, and very short walk to K3 beach. We had an amazing time!

This Unit is as described online. Very clean and updated. Location of Kamaole Sands is convenient to restaurants and stores. Kamaole beach is across the street of the property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location and the stay. The floors were filthy and most dishes in the kitchen had food stuck / dried on them. Once we washed all the dishes we were going to use and cleaned the floors, it was great. We loved the extras this place had to offer (beach chairs, lots of towels, beach wagon, coolers, etc...) Maybe we just had bad luck with the cleanliness issue; but who wants to spend hours cleaning someone else's home while on vacation?

Overall great with a couple hang ups

The property was beautiful, location was superb, only hang up and why we wouldn't come back to this unit was the bed in the main bedroom was extremely uncomfortable (old mattress most likely) and the bed frame itself made ALOT of noise, with the slightest movement. Also the second bedroom had a bad mildew smell to it.

Thank you for being our guest and glad to hear that you found the property to be beautiful along with a great location. Thank you for letting us know about the bed but sorry for the inconvenience. We would have been happy to address these items immediately had we had know about them earlier. The mattress was replaced within the last 2 years and we will definitely have a look at the bed frame to ensure that it is not making noise. In regards to the second bedroom we will also have a thorough look to see what could be causing the smell.

Perfect in Every Way

We celebrated my 70th birthday with our grown children and their families at Kamaole Sands. We rented three condos, one to accommodate each family. Ours was this two bedroom that was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was recently tastefully remodeled and we just loved the decor. We often had family dinners together.I really liked the large set of square bowls, and large Square plates. This condo came with beach toys, beach, chairs, and thick beach towels. It was on the ground floor, which worked out great for the grandkids to be able to run over to see us. The code instead of a key for entering made it so easy. We loved how how convenient the pool and beach was that we never needed to drive. I would definitely stay here again!

Can’t Beat Kamaole

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third time staying at Kamaole Sands. The grounds are beautiful, the location is perfect, and I feel it’s a great bargain. The beach directly across the street, Kamaole 3 is the perfect beach for snorkeling, boogie boarding and watching sunsets. Kihei is a laid back beach town with every convienence you’ll need. The condo is clean, and equipped with all the necessities and even some extras like boogie boards, cooler, over-sized beach towels and chairs. Building 2 is adjacent to the pool and we loved being on the bottom floor as the kids could play on the grass right off the lanai. We won’t hesitate to return!

When we arrived late at night with kids, it was clear PMI had prepared the unit for us. They turned on the fan and lights and made up the sofabed. So much more comforting that walking into a dark room. The location is excellent - close to the pools and BBQ's and a quick walk to the beach. This unit was everything we needed for our family of five. We are looking forward to rebooking for next year.

The AC worked great - almost too well sometimes - the condo was well stocked with everything we could have needed for our stay. It was clean, no problems at all. PMI is a great management company to work with as well. The pool is literally steps from the back lanai. BBQs are close. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone! Mahalo

The ground floor unit was perfect for our children to head outside to play in the grassy area. The unit was equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, boogie boards and a cooler - everything needed for a day at the beach. The unit was very clean, although the dishes all needed a was before we could use them. The grounds of the complex are very well maintained and there are many clean bbq's available for use. The location was perfect to walk across the street to hit the beach or watch the sunset, and it was an easy walk to many shops and restaurants (don't skip the Cinnamon Roll place!). We would definitely book this unit again.

We rented this 2 bedroom unit for our daughter’s family of 3 and it was perfect for little kids, with the grassy area just outside the patio door and lanai. The pool is only a few steps away and a favourite with a small child. The kitchen was very well stocked, with oil, vinegars and a few spices. We really enjoy this area on the south end of Kihei Road where the traffic is more quiet.A morning walk south on Kihei Road past the hotels of Wailea, returning on the boardwalk and beaches route, is a perfect start to the day.Kamaole 3 beach is just across the road, where turtles can be seen riding the waves and whales can be viewed breaching and playing in the ocean.
