En el corazón del Valle de los Reyes, ven a relajarte a Chanteloup en una casa del siglo XIX completamente renovada en junio de 2018.
Con una ubicación ideal a 200 metros del Loira en bicicleta, a 2,5 km del centro de la ciudad de Amboise, ya 50 metros de la bodega de la Closerie de Chanteloup, donde podrá degustar los vinos y cervezas artesanales elaboradas en nuestro propiedad.
Patio cerrado con posibilidad de guardar las bicicletas. Estacionamiento en frente de la casa

Beautiful property and great accomodations

Great place to stay

Very comfortable place to stay with everything you could need. Near enough to Amboise to enjoy all the town has to offer and yet set quietly off the road so that it’s very peaceful. Really enjoyed our holiday thank you.

Lovely stay

A lovely old spacious French cottage with 2 large bedrooms and a bathroom with separate toilet upstairs. Everything you need is inside. A nice sunny garden with access by means of a stone step to the nice pool. The garden is private although there is neighbour garden nearbynearby.

Short family break

Spent 4 nights here and it was wonderful. Plenty of facilities in the property. It was also ideal for young children. Local area was very pleasant and there were lots of things to do within a short drive. Would definitely visit again.

Brilliant stay but…

The property was very clean and in a lovely location- just a walk into the town of Amboise. The property was well equipped with towels, cleaning supplies etc. We also enjoyed the pool.However access was a bit of an issue as the host did not respond to my messages regarding the entrance of the gîte. This was quite stressful as we were unsure as to which property was the correct one. However after we worked this out, the stay was very pleasant and we had a lovely holiday!

My daughter and I stayed here after a week in Paris and the calm peaceful atmosphere was just what we needed. It’s a beautiful area with friendly people and lot’s to see. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Property exceeded expectations, very clean and very well equipped. Slight confusion about accessing the property but that was a language barrier issue and quickly resolved. Hosts were lovely and would highly recommend this property

Pleasant stay

Large comfortable house in very quiet and peaceful settings. Clean and recently updated. Enjoyed the standalone wood-burning fireplace in the evenings. Short drive to Amboise and to nearby castles. The sloped ceilings upstairs might be an issue for a very tall person.

House of Chanteloupe Review

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely cottage! We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! Found it a bit difficult navigating from the parking across the lowly light ground in front (uneven lawn). Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Hosts very responsive. Thank you!

Great country place with a cozy fireplace.

It looks old on the outside, which is part of the magic for me, but is very nice on the inside. The weather was cold and rainy when we arrived but a fire was already burning in the stove. That was a very nice touch. Of course there are other heaters but the fireplace cozy to sit by and drink my coffee. This is a comfortable place that can easily sleep 5, maybe 6, and has a baby crib if you need that. Full kitchen and well stocked with utensils. It is put in the country but only 2-3 minutes drive from the center of Ambroise. It was a perfect spot to home base from. Highly recommended.

Good well equipped property but

More information about arrival is needed. The vineyard where we were to pick the key up from closed at 6.30, we didn’t arrive until 7pm. We phoned the numbers we had a daffiest no one answered them . Eventually someone did answer the phone and directed us to property, we were almost at a hotel by then.

Lovely homely spacious clean property

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It was a lovely spacious home that was fully appointed, so it felt very homey and I could imagine you could stay there for much longer with a family because it had an oven/ stove/ dishwasher/ washing machine/ washing line/ heaters/ fireplace. The host has set up the fireplace ready to be lit when we got there, which was lovely because it was colder in the Loire than we’d expected. There were also then additional electric heaters in the bedroom. The beds were very comfy and there was a separate toilet and shower room. The bedrooms were also very spacious as was the downstairs which had a nice sectional sofa, a TV with lots of different channels and 2 separate dining tables to choose from (one in the kitchen and one next to the lounge room). The only negatives about the property were that there were no fly screens on the windows/ skylights and a faint musty smell downstairs.

This property is very isolated and not walkable to anywhere. There is a strong smell of mildew and we could not stay there because one of us has asthma. However, the host declined to give us any refund and VRBO spoke to him but allowed him to charge us for the 6 day stay even though we didn’t check in. We expected to lose something but not the entire fee. We submitted doctors proof of asthma but it didn’t make a difference. The parking area is very uneven with tall grass and the staircase to the upstairs is very steep. Definitely not suitable for children or elders. The mildew smell was really pungent. I do not recommend this property.

Our group of 3 stayed for 2 nights at Maison de Chanteloup and had a wonderful time. Guichard had a fire going in the wood stove when we got there which was so welcoming! The house was rustic, but comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect - close to town, but quiet and relaxing. Guichard was very responsive to questions. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Das Ferienhaus wird auf FeWo mit einem modernen und großen Pool (Auf dem Titelbild der Anzeige) beworben ohne zu erwähnen, dass er für die gemeinschaftl. Nutzung steht.Als wir ankamen, erfuhren wir zusätzlich durch ein hinterlegtes Regelwerk, das der Pool für uns als Gäste nur Mo.-Fr. zwischen 10:00-18:30 Uhr zur Verfügung steht und in den Abendstunden sowie am Wochenende von der Gastgeberfamilie allein genutzt wird. Auch auf Nachfrage waren keine Kompromisse möglich.Das alles war auf FeWo nicht beschrieben und für uns ein Ärgernis, da wir am Tag überwiegend unterwegs waren.Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir die Wohnung nicht gemietet!Die Wohnung selbst war trotz einiger Komforteinschränkungen soweit passabel und vollständig eingerichtet. Alle Bereiche der täglichen Nutzung waren bei der Ankunft sauber und hergerichtet.Das WLAN war leider extrem langsam. Aber ein schnelles Internet erwartet ja nicht jeder im Urlaub (-; Der Aussenbereich unmittelbar am Haus der Ferienwohnung erschien uns eher ungepflegt und herunter gekommen. Die nächste Nachbarwohnung war etwa nur 3m entfernt.
