We had a problem with the electric spur for the pool heater on electric panel which made the heater inoperable. This did not affect the pool. Unfortunately there a wait for a permit from the city. It is now operational.

We did not know there was a problem with the pool during their stay. If we were notified we would have done our best to resolve the problem. Prior to their stay we had compliments on the pool.

Unfortunately there was a wait for a permit from the city which delayed the repair. It is now operational. The guest were generously compensated. The toaster oven will be removed or replaced. There are ice trays in the freezer. There is a ladder at the neighbors which can be used if the guests wished to use the kayak. It is possible to use the kayak without the ladder but we will look into installing one. at no time did the guest mention any of the items other than the pool heater. If she had we would have dealt with it.

A very objective review. Unfortunately our Kayak was stolen shortly prior to John's arrival. The carpet was a problem as it was stained by a previous guests and our cleaner did not clean it and we were unable to schedule a professional cleanser while the house was occupied. It. We didn't advertise golf clubs or hot tub but have taken note of it. The carpet has been cleaned.

This review is a total exaggeration. This person sent an email when he arrived just saying problems. He mentioned the garden furniture which 2 items required repairs but were usable. There are a variety of other items of garden furniture which could have been used. We did send someone out to check the hot water. No other guests before or after him have had a problem. When you look at the review there is nothing which would justify a 2. Very unfortunate booking. I cannot comment on the food left on dishes as he did not mention it when we spoke but I doubt very much that it was more than one or 2 dishes. Our cleaner would have been over to correct any problems. We were never asked. We have replaced the patio furniture, see photos and have replaced both elements and thermostats on the hot water heater.

Sorry about the problems with the pool. The pool service company decided to close for 2 weeks over Christmas and did not reply to our request to fix the problem immediately.

This review was not surprising as most of what is identified the guest informed us about after he departed when he asked for compensation. Saying that what was written in the review did not justify such a low review. We had no chance to inspect or correct the discrepancies.The only problem he identified when he arrived was stain on the carpet. The pool heater he let us know 5 days later. We offered to get the carpet cleaned but he refused. The carpet had been shampooed in December but had been stained by previous guests.Nothing else was mentioned during his stay. The ceiling fans, vents, etc were not dirty. We have cathedral ceilings and I cleaned them all in December. You need a large stepladder to access them.They do not get dirty in 6 weeks. He may have mistook the colour of the large fan in the bedroom as dirt. I do not know which kitchen items he refers to. The pool heater had a problem with the main switch. We have had a pool technician out and then an electrician who found and replaced the faulty switch. Once the guest informed us about the problem with the help of our pool guy he had a heated pool.The guest did not need to use the pool cover. If he had informed us I would have asked him not to use it until we replaced it. Evidently the panels missing from the blinds were for the doors from the kitchen to the lanai and would not effect anyone's privacy. Few people use that blind. Most of what he wrote were general statements few specifics.

We had a problem with our pool people which has now been resolved. We have addressed the problem with Denise throughout their stay. The technician failed to notice that the pool filter was not working.
