La Villa es un encantador bungalow de playa de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños completamente cerrado directamente en la playa en Paynes Bay.
La villa se encuentra a pocos pasos de la hermosa y serpenteante playa de Paynes en la zona de la costa oeste de Barbados, internacionalmente aclamada. Nuestro invitado simplemente abandona el jardín y se acerca a la orilla donde inmediatamente puede bañarse en el impresionante mar Caribe. Right on an amazing beach to relax and swim and watch sunsets from the cute patio. Great A/C. Comfortable beds and very clean although some furnishings a little dated. Chatty local neighbors but felt safe. Side hose to wash sand off. 4 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas provided which is a huge peek for enjoying the beach. Do not rent a large car with this booking, driveway is narrow. My mid to small SUV rental barely squeezed in but made it in and out with no purulent if you take your time.

Hit all my expectations!

Dolphin Bay Villa is a lovely spot. We enjoyed our ten day holiday. The beach was clean and we had access to lounges and umbrellas. The villa had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. There is off street parking, the road to access the villa was tight.. good thing we rented a mini car! We loved the patio, we sat there every morning to welcome the day. Thank-you

Wonderful place

What a great find, the villa is in a great location, right on the beach and steps from the sea, we swam with the turtles daily. It had everything that you needed, and the internet and air con worked really well.Used the public buses most days and found them very friendly and fun.we would definitely return.

Wow Amazing

On the beach quite amazing. Yoga 15 min walk amazing studio Shops and large fab supermarket 30 min walk or 2 fun 4 min frequent bus ride, Great beach can be hard to swim if Sea Swell but then you wake up and go to sleep to sounds of the ocean waves so great either way/ We stayed a few eeks as over 50;s fDigital Nomads and loved it here as easy to shop cook and work form home in great location. Teresa House keeper very helpful even had computer monitor delivered to the door. thank you to her and Franlyn for allowing us to stay in his home from home. Love the Cricket books Stay safe and Happy to all furure guests that stay A&Ax

Wonderful house in a great location

The pictures and the description on the website are accurate. The host Franklyn is a very warm person & one of the best hosts we have stayed with over so many years. His local housekeeper Tesha is wonderful as well. We were a family that stayed at the house and had an absolutely wonderful time. The location of the house is right on the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and the waters are calm. There are many water activities such as jet skiing, wake boarding available at this beach itself. The nice thing about this beach is that it doesn't get too crowded . The sunsets are absolutely beautiful. Franklyn the host is kind enough to leave snorkeling equipment for his guests as well as beach chairs and umbrellas if you really need it. Although at the beach you can rent loungers from the people at the beach. There is a nice nice beach bar called Gazebo that is a 3-minute walk on the sand from the house. The overall neighborhood is quiet and nice, leading to a peaceful vacation. The only one thing you have to keep in mind is to rent a smaller car if you are renting. This is because the approach road to the house is a bit narrow as one of the other reviewers had mentioned. However, it is an absolutely beautifully located house with one of the best hosts you could ask for.

Hidden Gem on Paynes Bay

This is a great place right on the beach. Franklyn was easy to work with and helped set us up with transportation to/from the airport. The driver (Sherlock) that picked us up was full of tips about what to do on the island and even made dinner reservations for us as we travelled to the bungalow. The property manager Teisha went above and beyond to make us comfortable. This was our first time in Barbados and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful beachfront villa

We were able to enjoy all the amenities of the well appointed villa, the beach and local activities and restaurants. Book reservations ahead! Franklin was a wonderful host and Tesha prepared a delicious homemade meal on our first night.

Great Stay

The Villa is located at a clearly prime space directly at the beach (you step out of the door and already have your feet in the sand) and is very well equipped and maintained. Communication with Fraklyn was seamless and always customer oriented. We found everything we needed, including beachchairs and things like that and -very important for our son- the WLAN worked perfectly. We also enjoyed lots of small amenities like the mosquito nets in the master bedroom and in front of the windows or the outdoor shower, allowing to keep the sand from the beach and flying insects outside the house.All in all a clear recommendation from our side and once we visit Barbados again we for sure would go for the exacty same location.

Location Location Location!

When staying on a beach in a beautiful bay it is challenging to come up with something negative to say, so I won’t! The king size bed in the master was very comfortable with amazing pillows…loved having the mosquito net since there have been lots of concerns about Dengue on the island. Our timing must have been good, as we only saw a couple while here & I’m usually eaten alive! The beach was just outside our fence, so we used the provided beach chairs & umbrellas several times throughout our stay. On Sunday mornings, the Pentecostal church across the street does a lovely beach side service with singing & music, so we enjoyed it from the patio. I have no hesitation recommending Dolphin Bay!

Beautiful Beach

Very nice property right on Paynes Bay!! The waves and beach was great and their were nice chairs to use. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms had AC. Plenty of cooking utensils. Nice TV especially during March Madness. Only downside was parking. It was extremely tricky to navigate the fencing to get back to the spot. We would definitely stay there again. Good location and easy to catch the local bus.

Little Slice of Paradise

My husband and I loved our stay in this wonderful villa. Just walk out the gate and you're on the best part of Payne's Bay beach. The location is perfect. Just a half hour walk into Holetown or a short bus ride. The villa itself is very comfortable with everything you need. Including an incredible stereo system if you're a music fan. Thanks Franklyn and Tesha for a great stay! After 22 years of visiting Barbados, we've found our favourite accomodation.

Paynes Bay Paradise

This is the best place we have ever stayed in Barbados which includes about 15 trips and a splurge at The Crane. Dolphin Villa is in the perfect location, directly on a beautiful Paynes Bay beach, walking distance to Sandy Lane & The Cliff, short distance to Holetown & Fitts village, easy bus stop to Speightstown and Bridgetown. Steps to local bars/restaurants on the beach and steetside. The villa feels like your own home away from home. Impeccably clean, well appointed, local artwork, AC in the bedrooms and great breezes in the living areas. The front porch has wonderful views while maintaining your privacy. The beach chairs & toys were new and were everything we needed. The landscape within the walled courtyards is a tropical paradise. We particularly enjoyed our interactions with the local beach guys who made us feel part of their little spot on the beach. Sitting beneath the almond tree in a comfy chair with a cold drink right in front of our house certainly is preferable to being in a high rise or lugging your stuff from across the street. To quote one of the beach guys, we had the best seat in the house. We were so fortunate to meet owner and Barbados native, Franklyn, on of his visits from the UK. He was so welcoming & friendly, with a great sense of humor as was house manager Tesha and chef Andrea. That’s right, you can arrange your own private meal service at the house. It was the best meal we had on the island and in the best setting. Many thanks for sharing this wonderful gem with us. We’ll be back.

Something for Everyone

This property is by far the most tastefully decorated of all the ones I have ever rented in the past. It lacks nothing from the appliances, cookware and electronics. Not only are they top quality, but they all function. (Not always the case elsewhere.) The bedrooms are both equipped with air conditioning and supportive mattresses, (especially important for my back). The beach offers plenty of opportunity to lie back tan, read or nap or you can do the same on a beautiful daybed nook on your own private balcony. For those wanting a more active beach experience there are Hobie Cats, jet skis, paddle boards, and glass bottom boats for rent. Just ask one of the helpful beach vendors for help. You don’t have to swim far out to see turtles. The snorkelling equipment is stored under the daybed. Restaurants from high price to economy rum shops are walking distance or an inexpensive cab ride away. If you are into polo, Holders is just a short walk up the hill, where cool breezes blow and you can enjoy the sport close up. Entrance fee is a modest 20 bds. Being on the west coast also leaves you near incredible attractions like The Harrison Caves, Hunte’s Garden, Welchman Gully, Earthworks and others. This house is also walking distance to Holetown or a quick 5 minute bus or taxi ride. There you have the Chattel Village. A delicious breakfast, can be had there. Also clothing/ jewellery, souvenirs can be bought at various shops or you can just go for groceries at Massey’s, one of the biggest most inclusive stores around. Upscale shopping, ATM’s can be found at Limegrove where lunch at Relish is a most. Wine is available at Massey’s but a better selection is available at Wine World. All in all, you can experience as much or as little of all aspects of Barbados life as you wish by renting The Dolphin Bay Villa. Franklyn, Shamara and their uncle next door are perfect hosts.
