This house is so well taken care of and very functional. The kitchen knives are sharp, the pots look pretty new, and the outdoor space is gorgeous at any time of day. It was easy to catch a sunset or head to the harbor for whale watching. The plunge pool in the back was also a lovely bonus that my kids adored. Would absolutely book here again.

Great place and location

The location was amazing and had plenty to do. The amenities for the beach was great to have. Owner was great at communication and we really loved out stay.

Fantastic Beach Stay

We had a fabulous time in the stay, close to everything (short walk to town) quiet, clean, well appointed home. Jacuzzi & koi pond were so lovely. Kim is an excellent host.

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our time relaxing here. Everything was perfect and Kim was very easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. Would recommend!

Great location, with amazing outdoor space

Perfect place for a small family. The outdoor living space and spa is AMAZING! The unit is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy the nearby beaches! Our host was quick to reply to any questions.

Beach Pad Sanctuary

This was a perfect living space for our family of four. The owners attended to every detail, including aesthetics, great appliances, and beach gear. Succulents and other lush plants flourished throughout the home and yards. We enjoyed feeding the koi, playing ping-pong, eating outdoors, and relaxing in the large jacuzzi. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens into the living room. We drove a few minutes to the beach near the pier during the day and walked to the end of our block to experience beautiful sunsets and swim during the evenings' low tide. This place has a calm, peaceful feeling that enhanced the joy and relaxation of beach life in Oceanside.

Relaxing Beach Getaway

We had such a great stay. The property was relaxing and so close to the beach. A perfect setting for a family of four. Having access to bikes allowed us to take daily rides to the pier. Grilling out and relaxing in the jacuzzi were a major plus. The train is very close but was never really an issue for any of us. The owner was very friendly and made the check in/out process easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Fancy and affordable

Very nice clean affordable place to stay. A block and a half from the ocean, and short car ride to sandy beach access. The private outdoor area is what makes the property…..all your needs while traveling are thought of. Property manager is a text away with any and all questions answered. Overall very good property at a very affordable price

Great Little House Near the Ocean!

This place was awesome. We used it as our base in O'side while venturing around SoCal on a recent family vacation. Kids loved being able to wake up and walk the two blocks down to the ocean. We also loved the backyard with pool and Koi pond. Not great beach right there but there are plenty of easy access points nearby. Loved this little house and the hosts were amazing!!

Perfect spot steps away from the beach!

This house has it all! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach home. The owners thought of everything you may need which made our stay even more comfortable - for example we didn’t have to make an extra stop for beach toys and towels after a long day of driving from out of town. If you’ve ever traveled with small kids, you know how great this convenience is. We look forward to our next stay!

The perfect spot

Absolutely perfect! Walking distance from everything loved the space and the interior decor. Kids had a fabulous time from the ping-pong table to the spa other reviewers Mentioned The train was quite noisy. We found that if the train bothers you, you’re not having nearly enough fun On your vacation, it was no big deal, Would jump at the chance to stay here again!!

Great home and location

This property was everything that was advertised. The hosts were outstanding and very responsive. The front patio and ping pong table were a hit with the teenagers. Short walk to the ocean which could be seen from the patio. Back patio and hot tub were amazing. Koi pond also beautiful. Host provided boogie boards, surf boards and bikes for use. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Oceanside.

A lovely little place near the ocean

One of the best equipped houses I have ever stayed in. Kitchen, surfing, beach and outdoor stuff all there. Comfy rooms with a wonderful outdoor space and little plunge pool. Only 2 issues: the trains are noisy but you get used to them and it is not near the beach. It is near the ocean so great if you are a surfer but I was hoping to be a shorter walk from the beach. The beach is a good 15 mins walk away. Overall would recommend

We enjoyed our stay!

What a cute place! We greatly enjoyed our stay. You can see the ocean from the front yard, and the backyard is perfect. Our kids loved relaxing in the hot tub after long days at the beach. The lights and the beautiful plants everywhere made it even more special. The ping pong table was fun to play on and is under a large palm tree. You can quickly walk to Rite Aid for anything additional things you need. It’s an easy walk to Communal coffee which we did on most mornings. Highly recommend this place!

No beach

We rented this property thinking there was a beach that we could walk to but there is no sandy beach to set up your umbrellas, chairs and towels on. Just giant rocks and waves crashing against them. We were very disappointed… we still had to drive to the beach.

Beautiful paradise...with a ding ding.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Oceanside! Kim was absolutely incredible!! The home and back yard are immaculate, the spa was a huge hit, and the accommodations were perfect for our family's vacation! The only thing that was less than ideal was the proximity to the railroad tracks. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be a great choice. Trains run all day and night so it got a little tiring. Absolutely everything else was perfect!! Highly recommend!!

Fun amenities for the family

We really enjoyed the amenities here, it made it very nice for the kiddos. We had acces to the spa and beach toys, body boards and much more. The communication was excellent with the host. I do wish there was air conditioning, the only issues we had, there is a railroad very close to this property which stays busy and kept us up late and woke us up frequently. On the last night of our stay the neighbor directly next to the property lit off very loud fireworks at 2am. I had to go outside to confront the neighbors as it sppeared they were having a party of sorts. Other then that we loved the place.

5 Star Stay

The property was perfect for a small family vacation . 3 adults , 1 child. We all fit comfortably. The kitchen was perfect and stocked for cooking. The house was stoked with plenty of towels and necessities like iron, blow dryer, space heaters, fans, blankets, towels, etc. A walk to the beach and a couple miles to shops/restaurants. The BEST part was the beautiful backyard, jacuzzi and bbq. It was perfect. The train was not bad at all but we are also from the Bay Area and are used to our public transportation noises. The host was very attentive and even let us drop off our luggage early upon arrival before check in. I believe they live next door, attached home. I would not recommend loud parties at all because of this. Perfect for just a family or small group of friends. Thank you again for such an easy experience!

Wonderful little bungalow

This is a cute little place, it is attached to the owner's home which I was not aware of until check-in but they were friendly the few times we engaged with them, and right there if we needed any help. My son left something behind and the owner was kind enough to let us know so that we could go retrieve it before we got too far out of town on our checkout day, that is not normally something that will happen so kudos to them for doing that! It is a bit of a walk to the pier so I would suggest driving over if you are looking to spend time close to the main swimming/surf area. There is also no air conditioning which was expected, and it can be a bit hot after a long day being closed up. We brought along some mini air conditioners, I highly recommend this if coming in the summer because it helped cool the place down quickly. The Spa is wonderful and the Koi Pond was a lot of fun, my son loved to feed them. It is located near shops and food as well. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a nice little getaway steps from the water!

Relaxing and Tranquil

This little house has everything you need for a relaxing time and I can’t say enough about how amazing the hot tub is, from the custom design to how big it is (like a mini pool) and the outside decor makes the whole feeling tranquil. The house feels very clean with upscale finishings. The beds were really comfortable and we slept great. The owners live in the attached larger house, but we were given exclusive use of the patio with the hot tub. The owners were very kind and left us alone, but very prompt when we reached out to them on a couple of minor concerns. There was plenty of beach equipment and kitchen supplies that we didn’t really need anything else. The ping-pong table was really fun and we even used the bicycles to ride around. The only downfall is the single small bathroom and dim lighting in the house but we were aware of this before hand and it didn’t affect our stay. There is a mirror in the back room with great lighting from the window that we utilized. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway

The house was gorgeous, clean and well kept. Had everything we needed and more for a relaxing weekend by the beach. We were there during a CA heatwave and the fans and ocean breeze kept us cool enough. Train is a little annoying, but that was the only downfall, and wouldn’t keep us from coming back again. We thought we’d be able to walk to downtown, but the provided bikes and bike path were convenient, plus the Circuit! Also, it is near other great restaurants that are less crowded. How could I forget the amazing jacuzzi and gorgeous backyard area!! Highly recommend and we would come back!

We've lived here in Oceanside for over 30 years. We literally have raised our kids on this beach and have enjoyed every single minute of it! We are avid surfers, beach goers, sunset watchers, kayakers & fishermen that absolutely love our beach. We feel so fortunate to have a slice of coastal paradise & to be able to enjoy sharing it with others!

We loved this property the first day we saw it! We are just a few steps away from the beach & get to see the ocean every day from our own home! It's so fun to get the beach cruisers out & take a bike ride down on the Strand, the Pier, or to the Harbor & take in all the beautiful coastal views we have in Oceanside.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There is a great surf break right out front! As well some fun shore fishing. Our beach has easy access which is especially nice for families with children. We have a jetty that is the perfect spot to watch our amazing sunsets over the ocean & take in the great view of Oceanside Pier. You can easily walk, ride bikes or drive and take advantage of the hip downtown with all the awesome local pubs, breweries, & restaurants Oceanside has to offer.
