This 1915 boho inspired, California beach kit house sits on a tree-lined street in a quiet neighborhood while remaining within walking distance of the vibrant downtown, and picturesque coast. It was comprehensively redesigned to become a vacation retreat offered by The Urban Nest North County. The designer's signature style shows in this 100-year-old kit house fused with a modern boho twist. It is our goal is to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!

The Space:
PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Originally built in 1915 and under top-notch management, this historic kit house boasts hardwood floors, an open floor plan, luxury bedding, a full kitchen, stylist furnishings throughout, fenced in yard, outdoor dining, fire table, beach equipment, and Cox Gigablast wifi speed! This kit house was once sold by Sears and Roebucks as a DYI option for homeowners desiring to build their own home. They are found in this community as they offered a perfect solution for a beach house when Model T cars were the main form of transportation.

The CEO of The Urban Nest is one of the top designers in Southern California, and her signature style shows. The CFO of the company has spent his 20-year career as an executive within the luxury hotel space. Together it is their goal to deliver unique design, blended with authentic hospitality, to each and every guest!

CLEANING COMMITMENT
Cleanliness has always been of the utmost importance to us! Our Ambassador of Clean oversees the cleanliness of our homes. Through her efforts, we have been given a 5-star review for the cleanliness of our homes from each and every guest that has ever stayed with us over the last 5 years! We are very proud of this.

LIVING AREA
- Every opportunity to bring in natural light through windows and doors was taken in this home design!
- Recline on a comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs in the living room while watching a movie on the 50” flat screen smart TV.
- Television content is provided via Hulu TV. Hulu is a entertainment content provider offering live TV via an expanded line up of television network programming, on demand television content, and on demand movies.
- A new HVAC system, complete with air conditioning, keeps guests in control of their comfort throughout the year.
- Complimentary Cox Ultimate 500 Mbps Wi-Fi ensures fast and reliable service for all your IT needs.

WORKSPACE
- Do you best work remotely! A high counter with stools, complete with convenient USB outlets and great lighting, overlooking the outdoor garden defines on a comfortable workspace. In addition, this home also offers a secondary workspace in the form of a desk in the master if separation from the activity of the main area is needed.
- Our investment in Cox Ultimate 500 Wi-Fi service ensures fast and reliable service for all your IT needs.
- While the Keurig machine offers the necessary caffeine for the early or late video conference of the day, a mid-day stroll on the pier offers a perfect mid-day break.

KITCHEN & DINING
- The kitchen is adorned with herringbone butcher block countertops and upgraded, full-size stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher.
- A Keurig machine with complimentary coffee and condiments await guests.
- Kitchen is fully equipped with everything guests may need to enjoy their stay, including grilling tools and a pizza stone for chilly nights or our smallest guests.
- Gather in the dining area with a 4-person table.
- A high counter with open air windows and overlooking the front garden offers seating for an additional three.
- The open floor plans allow guests to remain engaged with one another.

BEDROOMS & BATH
- This home accommodates six guests between two bedrooms and a memory foam, queen-size sofa sleeper.
- The full bathroom is stocked complete with a complimentary 5-piece, starter set of toiletries intended to pamper the guests.
- The bath features a modern glass walk-in shower.
- The master bedroom features a king-size bed complete with luxurious bedding and a signature mattress from the world’s largest luxury hotel.
- The second bedroom has two, twin beds complete with luxurious bedding.
- Bedrooms feature open chrome wired closets for ease of access to guest belongings.
- The memory form, queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room is intended to provide the 5th-6th person a quality night’s sleep.
- Ample, high-quality linens along with beach towels are provided for guest use.

OUTDOOR AREA
- A fenced yard with a front porch allow adults and children to enjoy the Cali sunshine and beautiful sunsets.
- Enjoy a delicious al fresco meal at the custom table for six on the back deck.
- A gas grill, grilling utensils, and plenty of propane will satisfy any grill master.
- Unwind on six Adirondack chairs that surround the modern fire table for a relaxing night after a trip to the beach.
-Thoughtful landscaping beautifies the outdoors and outdoor views from within the home.

BEACH EQUIPMENT
Need bikes? Don't rent them! This home provides two beach cruiser bikes with helmets, two boogie boards, two beach chairs, sand toys, a small cooler, and a wagon to tote it all to the famous oceanside pier beach. LAUNDRY
A full-size washer and dryer with complimentary detergent are provided for guest use.

PARKING
This home has two dedicated parking spaces, off the alley, at the rear of the property.

KEYLESS ENTRY
This home is equipped with a smart lock. Upon arrival, easily access the home with a keyless secure door code. The access code provided will not work until after 3:00p time and will not work after 10:00a on your check-out date.

EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECK-OUT
We have a strict policy that does not allow for early check-ins or late check-outs. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our homes so we need to afford housekeeping enough time to properly prepared for each and every guest!

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We are pleased to have hosted a huge number of respectful and thoughtful guest(s) in the past, however we do have to put this disclaimer out there to protect ourselves against the occasional problematic guest(s). Please be sure to carefully review the House Rules! A $1,000.00 security deposit is required with this reservation, and it is a credit card authorization that is processed prior to or during your stay. This authorization is held for 5-14 days and will expire after your departure only after it is inspected to ensure that the House Rules were strictly followed, all contents of the home are undamaged and in the home, and there is no damage or additional cleaning that is needed to return the home or the contents of the home to the condition that was present prior to your arrival.

For additional information regarding the security deposit, please review the Rental Agreement and House Manual.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
By confirming your booking, you will be entering into a Rental Agreement with The Urban Nest North County. The Rental Agreement will be sent to you approximately two hours after confirmation of your booking. If you have any objections to the terms of the Rental Agreement, you must notify management, in writing, within 24 hours of receipt of the Rental Agreement via the host channel.

Traveled down to Oceanside from L.A. with my wife & daughter to check-out an exhibition at the nearby Oceanside Museum of Art. Love this cottage- very cute early-20th century architecture and great location (just a few blocks from the pier).This is not one of those VRBO rentals where you're intruding on someone's primary residence. This is a rental that is clearly designed for hosting. Everything is where it should be. My only suggestions are that the host put a box of Kleenex in the bathroom and provide a fan (for when it's warm, but not warm enough to turn the AC on).This cottage is spotless, parking spaces are ample, and great communication from the host. I would 100% rent this cottage again and would recommend it to friends and family.
