Terminado en 2005, esta obra maestra frente al mar exquisita cuenta con cinco dormitorios y cinco baños. Tanto espacioso y elegante, es de 5000 pies cuadrados de puro lujo con un adicional de 3.500 pies cuadrados de porches con magníficas vistas al mar. La piscina es una piscina de agua salada y la serenidad que tanto los adultos como los niños les encantará! Decoradas ricamente, duerme 12 muy cómodamente. Esta casa romántica es una de las bellezas más singulares de la isla. Tenemos 24 horas Servicio de consejería y hacer arreglos para una niñera. Relájese en la tranquila belleza de Isla de las Palmas, siendo sólo 20 minutos del centro histórico de Charleston. Mundial de campos de golf y zonas de tiendas se encuentran a pocos minutos de esta casa fabulosa. PIO es una de las islas de barrera de Carolina del Sur. Es larga y estrecha y limitada por el Océano Atlántico y el Intracoastal Waterway. Awesome house with plenty of amenities! Beautiful views and great location too. We have been to Isle of Palms a number of times and this was by far our favorite house. Hope to rent again!

Best Millette Beach Week 2025

We loved this house. It was perfect for our family. We treated it like it was our own. Everything was top quality!! The check in woman (Abby) was delightful and helpful at check in and throughout the stay. I hope we can reserve for next year.

Charming and whimsical, the architecture of the home, and the interior design gives fairytale vibes. Add the stunning beach views and it makes for a wonderful vacation experience. Great beach access and a fun pool made for lots of family fun. We were accomdated for early arrival and the property manager was prompt to respond regarding an air-conditioning issue. All in all, a great decision to stay here!

Our family loved it….Gorgeous home…owner is an artist so the entire property is eye candy.(If you go, treat the home with care…it deserves it). Oceanfront location with easy access to pool and beach is very convenient. Spend a little xtra time at check in to learn the ins and outs, electrical system etc.

This was a girls trip that we were looking forward to for months. The property manager met us at the door for our check in, and went over all the details of the property, which were also in a convenient “welcome book” on the bar. We literally wanted for nothing! This house and property was absolutely perfect for the privacy and relaxing trip we were looking so forward to. I can’t wait to return.

This property is beautiful and clean with easy access to the beach. The porches are an extra perk! The art and the decor are fabulous while still being comfortable. Our family enjoyed cooking together in the nice sized kitchen and playing games around the large mosaic coffee table in the great room and table on the deck. A home away from home! Extra kudos to, Abby, the property manager who was always available. To the owners, thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Oh my goodness. I’m not sure I can put it in words. Every square foot was filled with conveniences. By far the best kitchen I’ve ever stayed at. It’s more than 5 stars. It’s a 10!! I will be back.

Best beachside home to date

This home is not only aesthetically special, the layout was perfect. Bedrooms are not contiguous and quiet. The porches are spectacular, pool is sheltered and accessible, kitchen is gourmet both appliances and equipped, elevator a plus for move in or out. We loved our stay.

Priceless family dinners on the porch overlooking the beach!

Clean as a pin, despite being on the beach(sand). Ate dinner every night on the back porch off the kitchen...squeezed 12 of us around the table - Priceless! Great communication and Abby (concierge) was super attentive. Only one hiccup, and it was quickly remedied, plus we received a little extra something for our trouble. Overall, a great week...thanks!

BEST VACATION EVER

Without a doubt my family had the most memorable vacation. The house was so warm and inviting. The bedrooms were so cozy & comfotable. I loved all the bathrooms. That really made everyone so happy, gathering on the porch or the beautiful living room and kitchen was perfect for enjoying each other's company. The kitchen made it so easy to cook meals. Of course I have to say how much my family enjoyed the pool. Lots of fun was had by all. Big success!!!!!

What a wonderful vacation my family enjoyed at The Sandcastle! We loved the beautiful colors, amazing art work, relaxing outdoor areas & great floor plan. The Sandcastle at Isle of Palms

This is by far the best place we have ever rented! It is everything we wanted and much more. Easy, flowing floor plan with fantastic views of the beach from almost every room on main floor and from three of the five upstairs bedrooms. The owners paid "attention to detail" throughout with fabulous art work, wall colors, cabinets, furniture, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Every spot in the house is lovely and interesting. Yet, it is kid friendly and a place where all can totally relax. We especially loved the decks and porches. I will go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Amazing...Best Experience Ever

This was a vacation where we set the bar very high in terms of expectations. In addition to my wife and I we also had our eldest son and new daughter in-law and my senior son in college. We have rented for years on the ocean but this one had to be special and this property hit it clear out of the park. Everything was perfect and the house was extraordinary. Every detail in the home was spot on, super clean and very well appointed. As for the amenities where do you begin; the house...amazing...the pool awesome...the private beach...that one will leave you speechless. Finally, the entire experience, which included a warm welcome with an onsite professional manager to a property where the owners clearly care and invest to keep this property looking brand new it was just awesome. Needless to say we are selecting dates now for a return in 2016!

Poor experience with owner

This house is our 14th beach rental. Our group of friends have never had a security deposit issue, let alone being described as leaving "filth" and the worst tenants in 10 years. The owner initially withheld the entire deposit and claimed the pool was clogged, glass was broken in the garage, lights were ripped off, the deck needed to be professionally cleaned, and garbage wasn't removed. The owner was unresponsive to emails and uncooperative towards resolving this issue. After 4 weeks of sending emails asking for receipts and "proof of damage" the owner mailed back 90% of the deposit. The remaining amount was supposedly for "excessive cleaning" and not worth our effort to reclaim. Frankly, this entire episode was personally insulting and the offensive comments by the owner did not indicate that this was a professional rental operation. As for the house and location, it is a well maintained property with a good view. Overall, the house is not kid friendly due to all of the glass art work and the "black" pool. The pool has a "black" liner that makes the water very warm in the summertime and it has a large submerged step around the perimeter that is invisible. This pool is for adults and not recommended for kids that like to jump into pools. The house comes with a tiny electric grill that is inadequate for a house that accommodates 14 people. We incorrectly assumed that our expensive weekly rental would have included an inexpensive gas grill, but we were wrong. We purchased a gas grill at Lowe's and brought it back to the house and left it there for the next tenants. Unfortunately, the owner threw out the grill and was apparently livid that we tried to grill food on our summer vacation.

After ten years of renting our home to lovely, respectful people, we unfortunately rented to a group who treated our home abysmally. Trash was thrown into our pool, a fire pit and cord of wood was left in our yard. (Open flames are not permitted on the island.) Broken glass was left in the garage. Our home was left in such poor condition that the cleaning service required an additional crew in order to have it ready for the next renters. We built our home not only as a rental investment but also one in which our family, including five grandchildren, could come and make a lifetime of good memories. It was built with love and attention to detail, and many of our renters return year after year. These disgruntled renters wrote an angry review with many complaints, and all I can say is that in ten years we have never had to keep any portion of a deposit until now. Hopefully we won’t have this problem again. Judith Paul Owner

simply amazing!

It's hard to believe something this unique is available for rent. Our group was continuously amazed - no detail was overlooked and every corner is a work of art. Despite being exceptionally beautiful, the house is very livable and we were relaxed and comfortable throughout our stay. We felt like we were in a movie ~ a gorgeous home, oceanfront views, a beautiful beach. The house feels very private with a large private beach, yet we were close to the local village. We loved having a beach vacation, but still being so close to Charleston with it's history, shopping and unbelievable dining. I really liked the woman who helped us with the reservations, very personal and helpful. I highly recommend the Sandcastle ~ I wish all our rental experiences were this special.

Love at First Sight!

WOW, was my family's first reaction when first we saw the Sandcastle! We loved everything about it - the beautiful outdoor paint colors of the home, the welcoming front entry, the exquisite attention to detail in the interior, and of course, the best, was walking straight out of the back door, and there you are, on the beach itself! The gourmet kitchen was great for preparing meals, and we all enjoyed eating out on the back deck overlooking the ocean! Whether walking the beach for exercise, searching for shells with the children, sitting/reading/soaking up the sun in a comfy beach chair, or building sand castles, there were always many options to wake up to each morning! Then, there is the close proximity to Charleston, and all of its history, shopping, and great dining! What more could one ask for in a family vacation? We will most definitely be returning to the Sandcastle to create more wonderful family memories!
