Espaciosa y bien organizada, Casa Boccaccio ofrece hasta seis camas (una habitación doble, una habitación con dos camas individuales y un sofá cama doble) y una terraza encantadora para relajarse en familia o con amigos.
Casa Boccaccio se encuentra en el corazón de Florencia y en una de sus zonas más prestigiosas, habitada por nobles y familias desde la antigüedad, y se encuentra dentro de un hermoso edificio histórico que abre las puertas a aquellos que quieren experimentar la ciudad absolutamente solamente. El edificio, que toma su nombre de la ladera ("costa" en la tradición florentina) dedicado a San Giorgio, es solo Oltrarno, a 30 metros del Ponte Vecchio ya solo 10 minutos a pie de la estación de Santa Maria Novella.

Characterful property, very clean. Beds quite firm but still comfortable, decent pillows too which is important to me. Nice touches like hairdryer and a selection of travel adapters and an umbrella even though we didn’t need it fortunately. Good location a few minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio.

Great base for exploring Florence

This apartment is full of character and is close to the Ponte Vecchio and is in a more relaxed part of the city, yet close to everything. The AC is strong and there is laundry in the basement.

Good location though be aware that streets can be challenging to navigate with luggage. Distances a little misleading- not an easy walk to the train station. Interior could be freshened up and more comfortable.

The location was excellent and the apartment was great for the 3 of us. Only issue we had was that the 3rd bed had no bedding and was not really suitable to sleep on. I contacted the host and she responded right away but told us we didn’t “request” the 3rd bed. The listing didn’t say anything about needing to request it. We just had to make do and sort ourselves out, but other than that it was a good place and would recommend.

There were 4 of us (2 couples) and we stayed for 3 nights. The location of the apartment is amazing, 2 min from Ponte Vecchio yet quiet street going up hill layer with cobblestones. We even walked to Piazza Michelangelo from our apartment. The two king beds are the most comfortable beds we’ve had comparing to other rentals. Both bedrooms had AC. The apartment is specious and clean, small kitchen but enough for us to make light breakfast. Bathroom was clean and basic. The laundry room was in the basement and we could wash our clothes and get additional towels. A terrace was a great addition for us to utilize for evening glass of wine and relaxing. Serena, the host, was super quick to respond and easy to communicate. We wished we stayed longer but if we ever return to Florence, we will book this place again.

Great location. Biggest issue was trying to pay local tax (difficult) and had to take garbage from unit with us as could not find disposal site. We didn’t have a lot of garbage but you would think that after paying cleaning fee and multiple service charges that would be looked after. Warning to those with knee, hip, heart issues- giant set of stairs to climb from ponte vecchio bridge to/from unit, but close location to sights. Unit could use some updating in decor, but was comfortable. Would be nice to have a bottle of water upon arrival until renter can figure out where to purchase some- restaurants only have glass bottles that they need to keep to recycle. Lots of good restaurants within short walking distance (but still have to do giant stairs)

Clean and Comfortable apartment

Nice apartment with private outdoor space. Short distance from the Ponte Vecchio up a little hill. Had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Comfortable beds and living/ eating area. Washer dryer in the basement was a bonus. We parked our car in a paid garage nearby.

Good location close to many restraurants and grocery. Warning: lots of steps to take with heavy luggage as front door not accessible to larger vehicles and difficult for those with physical limitations.2 bedrooms are a great size with good beds.Pull out futon should not qualify as a 3rd bed as it was hard and barely off of the floor and not suitable for adults. Outdoor space was nice. When the host was not there to greet us and had us leave our documents and cash for them to pick up they contacted us to let us know they could not find the papers and money and during the exchange of messages on What's App it was accidentally revealed that they had cameras in the apartment dining/living room and that she could now see our papers on the table from her phone. When we returned that evening we noticed that the strange equipment hanging in the dining room that we thought were antennas earlier had been removed. We had not taken pictures so VRBO has no proof to do anything on their end. We were very upset that our privacy had been invaded.

Great location, filthy apartment, rude host

The location was great. However, after the first night we realised that some of the pillows we had been using were disgusting. Large blood stains and brown from sweat, separated only by thin pillow slips and no pillow protectors. I notified the host who did nothing for 10 hours and when I followed up, gave me a rude reply with the phone number to contact the doorman to replace the pillows. At 10:30pm, new pillows arrived which was good, given the replacement pillow slips were so old and rotten they fell apart. The description is also not accurate. It is 2 bedroom, no views, the laundry is available but the machines are filthy.

We only stayed one night because the listing was very inaccurate. The listing said 3 bedrooms and there were only 2. The 3rd "bedroom" was the dining room with a futon. Had this been listed as a 2 bedroom apartment we would not have booked it.The hot water didnt work correctly. In order to shower one had to turn down the water pressure to a dribble so that the hot water heater could keep up with heating the water. Of the 6 pillows found in the apartment 5 were discolored and stained with what appeared to be a brownish substance. After some complaints were made to VRBO, the owner began incessantly texting our phone to tell us what terrible people we were for complaining. The listing also stated that there was a washer and drier in the apartment, but they were in fact located in the basement of the building and used comunially for the whole building. Beyond that they were dirty with visible debris in them. They were disgusting and not useable. The host, after saying that we must have done something wrong, did state the next day that the water problem was "fixed". Beware! If you are in Florence for a night, great location. But if you have multiple people, expecting to do laundry, etc., this may not be a good choice

Cozy and quaint

There were 5 of us- 4 adults & a 14 yr old, who slept on the pull out sofa. They had clean sheets for the pull out, but only an old, dingy blanket for a coverlet/duvet. That was dissappointing. The sheets overall were also very rough- maybe 250 thread count. Patio would have been amazing to sit out on if it hadnt mostly rained. Otherwise, it was a bit tight for us all, but we only stayed 2 nights so it worked short term.

Hi. The blanket were in in wardrobe !! What are saying Sorry ??? It Is really really poor comments. Also : if you had troubles , why You didn t contact US immediately ???? Our staff Is allways there tò help customers . We replies every minutes satisfying any request. I think Is really poor leave comments like that at the end without ant advice before . U are completely out of the homeaway Mood. Completely . People loves our Place and our apartments . Hotel for sure Is the best option for you and your family .
