Beautiful, well appointed home! The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need to cook for 12 people, including relatively sharp knives - not a given for rental homes these days! The grill and all kitchen appliances worked well. Beds were comfortable, and 4 bathrooms were plenty.Everything about the listing was accurate - only things I would note: (1) the home has a lot of stairs, which may be an issue for little kids or older guests. (2) The ground-level backyard area was very small, but balconies and access to nearby trails (and views!) more than made up for it. (3) The home has a lot of rules, but that is to be expected in Lake Tahoe these days. (4) Lastly - and I'm nitpicking at this point - our family loves to play pool and mentioned that the pool cues should be replaced at some point.Thanks Chad for a great stay!

Everything about this property is top notch. Wonderful beds, sheets, towel, amenities. Plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utinsils. Easy to talk to property manager and coordinate arriving and leaving times. Quick to respond. Fantastic location. Beautiful surroundings and close to town and beaches. Cant wait to stay here again.

Amazing house.

Our stay was great, the house was beautiful and huge. Nothing felt cramped and It accommodated everyone easily. My only gripe would be there are no televisions in the bedrooms so we ended up bringing our own. The entry was a little tricky. You need to turn the lock on the keypad and not the door handle itself. The instructions for the A/C were a bit contradicting. It said to close the windows after 10:00 and turn the A/C on if needed. The notes on the A/C say not to turn it on at night due to the compressor freezing. I think it needs to specify it’s only when temperatures are below a certain degrees. Also, just a fYI, one of our cars had both the back doors open in the middle of the night. We figured it was a bear cub looking for food since the trash bag was outside and nothing valuable was taken. Mind you, the car was not locked so that was definitely our fault. There’s is a trail behind the house. One of the trails led to a small creek, that was really nice to enjoy the water so closely. Overall, what had a very nice time and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing experience

The house and the host were 5 stars. Everyone loved not only the house but the location as well. We had so much fun and had more than enough room for everyone. The downstairs area was perfect for a fun evening.

Lovely home!

Our family of sixteen, (ten couples and six children, six and under), fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The kitchen is well stocked, (two dishwashers with plenty of dishes, silverware, pans and serving dishes) and the bedrooms comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. It was also in a great location: ten minute drive to Lake Tahoe, ten minute drive to Fallen Leaf Lake and trails right out the back door. I gave it a four for location because there are no trees around the house and no shade; the area is in the process of recovering from a burn in 2007.

High school friends

We are group of 6 couples who were friends in high school 50 years ago and now travel annually to meet up and reconnect. The home was perfect size for us and kitchen was very well stocked for the wine pairing meal a member of the group prepares each year. The air conditioning was a bit challenging, but it got cool enough each evening to open windows and cool the house down. I would recommend this property to any similar sized group.

Tahoe vacation

Excellent location and room for all 16 of us. We lived the Lake, the hiking trail right next to us and that the house was well appointed,, everything you’d need.

Family Tahoe trip

House was great! Location is great! Trails were great. Loved the (2) dishwasher and (2) laundry machines. Grill and patio were great! Amenities great! The air in the (3) upstairs bedrooms was not good! Lip on all three flights of stairs is very dangerous. Two of our guests fell down stairs. Landscaping is terrible around house. A little weed killer goes a long way on patio of hot tub! Master bedroom needs a tv. Master bedroom needs a shade on huge window above bed. Garage doors need maintenance…. Very Loud!

Awesome - New Property

Chad is an awesome host. The place was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy as well. Distance to the actual town was better than the distance it says. Straight shot on one road. Very easy place to get around. Loved every minute of it.

Amazing home for our ski trip to Tahoe

Our group of 13 (7 adults and 6 elementary aged kids) had a wonderful stay for our ski trip to South Lake Tahoe. The house had plenty of space and was absolutely perfect for our group. The kids loved the bunk bed rooms, the adults loved having king sized beds, which were all very comfortable, as well. The two dishwashers and two washers/driers were so nice to have. The kitchen was well equipped (including a big crock pot and anything you could need) to easily cook dinner at the house after a long day of skiing. The hot tub and pool table were fun amenities as well. We hope to come back sometime soon!

Beautiful home and location

We stayed here during our annual family Tahoe trip and it did not disappoint. We were able to comfortably stay with 15 adults and 5 children. The location is great for anyone wanting to go to Heavenly. The backyard view is stunning when it’s snowing. The house was very well stocked with tons of kitchen items, towels, dish soap and hand soap. Chad and Helen were so communicative from the get-go and made this booking seamless. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Stay!!!

Great location, close to Heavenly. Easy to get to from SF.. Owner is very communicative, prompt, and helpful. Big house, very spacious for our group of 25. We had a TON of kids with us and never felt crowded.. Although sometimes we were lazy to go to the other floors to use the bathrooms. Kitchen is fully stocked!! Lots or plates, utensils, cups, and cooking supplies. There are two dishwashers (with enough detergent) which was super convenient to make sure we always had enough clean dishes and a cleared sink. Using the oven is a bit tricky.. The owner texted me detailed instructions, but we all struggled trying to turn it on. Not a huge deal. Enough towels for the group.. Enough paper towels too. We ran out of the provided toilet paper, but we always travel with extra just in case. Property is located on a large lot, so we brought the kids out front/back to play in the snow. There were sleds and shovels available for guests to use, so we made a little sled runway, which the kids LOVED! I think our only complaint was that noise traveled through the house easily. Hard for all of us to get any sleep since we could hear EVERYTHING. Granted, we traveled with as many kids that we did.. Layout: Floor 1 has 1bd/1ba next to the pool table room. Floor 2 has 3bd/1ba Floor 3 has 3bd/2ba - 1 bathroom is attached to the master, the other is a community bathroom. This floor is the top floor with the kitchen and living room.

Family Christmas trip

We had a wonderful stay, beautiful setting!! the trip was time for our family to spend Christmas together. Our group was a total of 13 and we never felt cramped. The house was perfect for us. Our host was always responsive and wanted to ensure we were taken care of. If our travels ever take us back to Lake Tahoe as a family we would love to again stay in this house.

Great property for extended family vacation

We were a party of 20 (10kids under 10). We enjoyed the house, the nearby trails and the many activities in the S Lake Tahoe. The weather was awesome.

Great House!

This was our family’s first visit to Lake Tahoe and this house was the perfect place to stay. When looking for a place to sleep 15 people comfortably, this house met our needs! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Most of the bedrooms had king beds which the adults loved. The bunk rooms were perfect for our 7 grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed and the dining table was big enough for all of us to eat together! I can’t say enough about how perfect this house was for us. It was all that we needed to make our time in Lake Tahoe very comfortable. Another favorite was the laundry baskets in the bedrooms and two washers and dryers! I highly recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a home away from home! We loved it!
