Family Vacation

Great house for a large family vacation. The kids room upstairs is perfect for all the kids. Short drive to town, quiet neighborhood, and close to a hiking path.

Clean and well stocked home. Perfect place for our family of 16. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen in a rental I have ever seen. The patio area was clean and perfect for hanging out. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and all the space in the family room for the kids to play was perfect. The owners were incredibly quick to respond to questions during our stay and willing to accommodate. Would definitely stay here again.

Fourth of July Family Getaway

Lovely getaway for our family of 15. Fully stocked kitchen was great for breakfasts and burgers and dogs on the grill. Crock pot for queso on taco night. Loved the big windows for wildlife watching including mama bear and cub and a fox. Big patio and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Tubs are slippery a mat would have been appreciated. Overall, a great trip.

Great house for a family retreat!

We had 11 people in our group. This house was well equipped for all ages. The whole process was made easy. The house was in a great location and well kept and very clean. We were all very excited to stay here. Beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great accommodations for our Tahoe golf trip

The Chalet was as advertised and perfectly accommodated a group of guys for our 3 day golf trip. Location was perfect for our weekend events. The hot tub was easy to use and a welcomed amenity after running around all day. I would encourage anyone looking for a place to stay for a weekend in Tahoe to consider the property.

Amazing property

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Our group gathers every MLK weekend to ski. The kitchen was stocked which was so great when making meals. We checked in and felt so inviting when entering. Location was perfect. Highly recommend if you have a large group.

Our Stay at Sierra House

The only thing we should mention was both bottles of gas for the grill were empty and the grill needed a cleaning. Well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice Place for a Ski Trip

Our annual ski trip for 8 men (50's and 60's) used this location this year. We enjoyed our stay. Each person had their own regular bed and the kitchen was nicely equipped for preparing meals. Nicely located minutes from Heavenly and not far from Kirkwood. Very good communication with the host for questions.

Great House

Great spacious home. Kitchen is very well stocked with cookware. We only enjoyed it for one night because a big snowstorm was coming. If we return to Lake Tahoe will definitely stay here again.

The house was beautiful close to everything you need and plenty of room to enjoy your family great times and memories. The host and owner were very accommodating. And worked with us on check-in time and checkout time due to severe weather. Greatly appreciated.

First South Shore Experience

The house was clean and well stocked. 7 bedrooms was a plus. Large homes are hard to find in the Tahoe area. The updates were tasteful and functional. I would definitely stay there again. The host was quick to respond to concerns.

Great for large groups

We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday with a large party. The house was perfect. The owner thought of everything and made it super easy to find everything. The owner was responsive, easy to work with, and flexible! We can't recommend this place enough, and to top it all off, the location is perfect!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion with 12 adults and 1 toddler. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy and great area on the main floor with room for everyone to hangout, relax and eat together. The house was very clean and very well equipped. The host was wonderful to work with. Check in and check out very simple as well. I would highly recommend for a large group.

Excellent for groups

Alternate my friends really enjoyed their stay at this very big house. Everyone has their own bed. The house is centrally located for Southlake Tahoe activities. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hot tub is awesome. The owner was very friendly and communicative. I would definitely read it again for groups.
