    The cottage is very comfy and clean with a welcome pack that was very welcome on arrival.

    The cottage is very comfy and clean with a welcome pack that was very welcome on arrival. The cottage is very well equipped with easy access and ample space for two to three cars via a short private road. Extra high chair, travel cot and stair gate was also provided for our two year daughter, these were in full working order and clean. The location in relation to Loch Lomond is very handy with the main town of Balloch only a 10 to 15 minute drive away. The small village of Drymen is also a 10 minute drive away. There is also a shop (with petrol) nearby in Gartocharn but this would also require a short few minute drive. The House of Darroch opposite the shop is also worth a visit or two, it has excellent food. The immediate surrounding are peaceful and lovely. The only niggle and in no way reflects on the cottage or it's excellent hosts is that a delivery from a supermarket failed to be delivered as the driver could not find the cottage within the allocated time, however this was resolved the next day. Mobile reception is also hit and miss as you would expect for the location but free WiFi is provided. Highly recommended despite the weather. Thank you for a lovely week, our daughter throughly enjoyed the cottage and exploring the area. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

    Very clean and comfortable cottage. Lovely location, ideal for visiting Loch Lomond and Glasgow. Nice and quiet, comfortable beds and lots of extras that the owners have thought about. We were made very welcome by Gordon and Maggie who we met when we arrived. They explained all the facilities and then left us alone. They were close at hand if we needed anything. We will definitely recommend.

    The cottage is beautiful. Perfectly clean and decorated in a lovely way. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The only minor reasons I didn’t give it 10 are that it isn’t completely private, and the bin is so small that it fills after cooking 1 meal for 4 people!

    The cottage was ideal for 2 of us and our 2 relations and had everything we needed.

    The cottage was ideal for 2 of us and our 2 relations and had everything we needed. The welcome pack was very generous and the bathrooms had plenty of soap and shampoo etc. The beds and the seating were comfortable and the kitchen had adequate equipment for my sort of holiday cooking. The cottage had a very good feel about it and the location was good for getting about the Loch Lomond area. It rained or snowed most of the time we were there but we were able to dry our wet coats easily and there was a cupboard for outdoor wear. Our westie loved it and it was good to have a quiet lane straight out of the door. Maggie and Gordon were friendly and there if we needed them but not over-whelming - thank goodness! We were surprised at how good the local food was and how busy it was in early March.

The owners, living next door, were lovely and the whole stay we felt very comfortable. The surrounding area is picturesque, and the main road is very close, which means easy access to everything.

If I had to find one small negative point it was that with 2 small children the gravelled parking area described as ' enclosed garden' wasn't ideal for throwing open the doors and allowing them out to play. To have had an enclosed patio or lawned area would have been perfection.

    Lovely Cottage ideally situated for exploring central Scotland. The kitchen lay out isn't great as the dishwasher is tiny in the corner and the bins are in the cupboard which gets blocked when you open up the dishwasher. The shower also cut out during our holiday, otherwise all very nice.
