Otsego gran lago frente a la playa principal

Disfrutar de las puestas de sol de esta gran casa frente a la playa o disfrutar de su café en el porche mientras observa las actividades de la mañana en este lago todos los deportes. Capacidad para 12 personas, así que traiga a toda la familia. Playa de arena, pesca justo en el muelle o traer sus juguetes de agua para jugar en el lago. Por la noche un incendio en el pozo de fuego y disfrutar de la compañía de amigos y familiares.

Muchas mejoras nuevas completaron esto en esta casa. El lado de la playa de la casa ha sido resguardado y las ventanas nuevas. La plataforma se ha rehecho y es mucho más grande y se han agregado altavoces al aire libre. Nueva parrilla, fogones y muebles de patio para que pueda disfrutar de la playa y las muchas puestas de sol. También se agregó aire acondicionado en las áreas del dormitorio de la planta superior para mantenerte fresco en esas calurosas noches de verano.

Si usted decide aventurarse, Gaylord es sólo 5 millas de distancia, donde se puede disfrutar de tiendas y restaurantes en varios lugares. Estás cerca de muchos campos de golf de campeonato, o si te quedas en el esquí de invierno y senderos para motos de nieve están a solo unos pasos de distancia.

Cozy Cottage!

The weather was less than ideal during our stay which was a big bummer. We had 4 adults and a 3 and 1 year old. But the cottage was so cozy and the deck was perfect to sit and watch the storms or enjoy the outdoors even if it was raining. The beach was so great, just what I was looking for for the kids. The neighbors are a lot closer than it looked in the pictures. It was fine though. They had everything we needed. We even visited Gaylord and some of the things it offers to keep us busy. Would definitely recommend!

Otsego Lake Cottage

Great location, amazing outdoor space, fully stocked kitchen with every utensil imaginable. As discussed with the owner, the inside is need of some TLC. Can’t wait to see the improvements.

Nice beach vacation

Overall we enjoyed our trip at this cottage- just wished it was a little warmer and less windy (that's Michigan for you). Kids enjoyed the shallow water and sandy bottom. They also liked jumping off the dock. We had a little trouble with leaves piling up on the beach and in the water but the owner did come and clean up most of it. Perhaps consider hiring someone to maintain the beach for your renters if this happens in the future? Also if bringing a boat, make sure to bring items to secure it in the water or on the beach. It was VERY windy for several days during our stay and I'm not sure if that's typical weather for Gaylord, but it's best to be prepared or risk damaging your boat. Fishing in Otsego lake was tough for us; we did not catch much even with much effort. The interior of the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds were also very comfortable and the cabin was clean upon arrival. We did have trouble with the circuit breaker blowing often when the air conditioner was running as it appears many outlets are connected to one circuit (upstairs lighting/outlets, 2 air conditioners, refrigerator, and downstairs bathroom). Not too big of a problem for us but could become a problem for renters in the heat of summer. Some outlets upstairs were also quite loose which could pose a fire hazard. Would suggest updating electrical items upstairs and getting rid of broken dresser. Overall we did enjoy our stay and our kids had tons of fun.

Beautiful, quiet week on the lake.

We had a wonderful time. Lake and area was quiet. Rance was helpful and concerned about our comfort. The lake was rough a couple of days. No fish biting even though we saw a few. Overall a great time. Thank you Rance for going the extra mile checking on our comfort.

Excellent choice for families!!!

We had 8 people ages 8 months- 40 and this house was perfect for all of us!! The beach was a hit with our kiddos, including the nice new porch for the adults! We loved it, and we’ll be back!!

Great Experience!

The home, the location, the setting, the owners were all great. Just what we were looking for and hoping for. The pictures were spot on what to expect. Swimming area was ideal. My 8 yr old and 6 yr loved jumping off the dock, building in the sand and attempting to catch fish off the dock. Beach gets aftn sun so one morning we went and played mini golf which is attached to a wild animal museum. They liked that a lot too! My 8 yr learned to kayak and is a pretty good driver. All in all it was a nice, relaxing week. I can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Week

What a great week we had!! We had 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of space. Getting in the car to come home is the first time I left the cottage all week! The beach and lake was just perfect for our family! The deck was our living space for the week! The kitchen is stocked perfectly and we had everything we needed! Rance and Randy are wonderful and answer any questions you have immediately!

Great family vacation

This is our second time staying here. Perfect getaway! Kids had a blast swimming and playing on the large sand beach. Fishing was good. The deck with overhang was a perfect place for our 10 month old to play out of the sun. The cottage exceeded our needs. Rance and Randy both were great and very accommodating. Looking forward to returning next year.

Great spot on Otsego

Very clean, well maintained property. Very nice, sandy beach for kids or adults to enjoy. Great porch/patio facing the water. Cabin was very cozy and had great space in the common areas to accommodate our family. Would stay again.

Simply Perfect

The property was exactly as described. Very clean and orderly. Everything was very easy to find. The owner came out to greet us and answer any questions. Communication was open and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. The location was exactly where I wanted to be. The sleeping accommodations met our needs. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless clean, as was the rest of the home. We had a wonderful 3-day get-away. I hope he has an opening when we plan our next vacation. I would love to stay there again!!

Up North at it's Finest

Beautiful home. Plenty of space inside to relax, nice seating for meals inside and out. Bed situation was fabulous - mattresses all comfortable and linens plentiful and great quality. Kitchen had all of the items we needed. Grill was easy to use. Kayak and paddle board were a super addition, we were on the lake and enjoying the sunshine. Great internet, plenty of hot water. All of the amenities to make a great get-away weekend in Michigan's Up North.

Family Fun

Great home and even more perfect beach. My 18 month, 3 and 6 year old grandchildren played on the beach and swam in water only knee high up to end of dock. The paddle board and kayak provided were great fun! The deck was beautiful and enjoyed by all. We didn’t need to bring anything—beach chairs, toys, towels, kitchen essentials all provided. We are looking forward to our next year visit.

Supreme sunsets

Three generations of our family enjoyed a wonderful week at this well equipped cottage. The beautiful beach was great for waterskiing and tubing as well as soaking up the sun and later in the evenings for cookouts and campfires. We definitely plan to return next year. Great Beach Vacation!

The cottage was roomy, clean, and located right on the beach. We loved making s’mores in the fire pit provided and watching fireworks over the lake from the front deck. Thank you for such great hospitality!

Fun Vacation

The beach was beautiful and perfect for our little kids. The sand was great and the water was so clear. The cabin was clean and everything we needed was there for our use. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic family vacation spot !!

We enjoyed our family getaway for 4 nights with 7 adults and 4 small children at this great spot. The house was very clean upon arrival. My favorite thing about the house was the beautiful new deck It is very large and has a great speaker system that we enjoyed. The living furniture is very nice and the beach and water level was perfect for the 2-4 year olds. They loved the sand area There is a hose around the house but a suggestion would be to have a little wood or cement area with a hose right before you go up onto the deck so not to track so much sand up there. They have lots of sand toys, a nice paddle board and fishing poles that were nice to use We would recommend this beach house to anyone. Thank you to owners for sharing your house with our family!

Sandy beach!

I admit, we rented this house because of it's sandy beach that leads you to the water. Well, I wasn't disappointed!!! The sand was clean of debris and the walkway was prefect for when your feet were clean and you wanted them to stay that way. The availability of a kayak and paddle board was great. The little ones were on the beach all day and evening or they were in the water playing. The porch was a perfect place to relax in the shade, have a drink, or have dinner with a beautiful view. We even celebrated our granddaughter's 4th birthday on the deck. She felt so special. The house itself was very clean and we appreciate that so much. It should be noted that the bedrooms upstairs are; the master bedroom, a loft that has 3 beds, (no privacy), and one bedroom that you have to walk through to get to the bathroom. We made it work, but other people may find it an inconvenience. The master bedroom has windows facing the water and is just beautiful. Thank you for our awsome vacation home.

Great place for a relaxing vacation!

Being right on the lake was amazing. The beach was perfect for my little girls. It’s pretty shallow for awhile so my daughters were able to play in the water. The deck was a wonderful place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Only thing I would suggest is to bring extra fans as it can get hot in the house.

My brother and I decided to purchase this home so we could continue to enjoy some of our summers on Otsego Lake. We are both originally from here and have had many summers of boating and fishing. Rance and his family still live here and I live in Saratoga Springs, NY.

My wife and I and our family vacation here every summer to visit family and friends that still are in Gaylord. For the past several years we've rented this house and have always enjoyed the lake and the Arbutus Beach community. When it came up for sale we decided to buy the home. We will be coming a lot more often to not only enjoy some of the summer days, but maybe some of the other seasons as well.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

What we enjoyed about this home was how much room there is for family and friends to stay. 3 queen beds, 2 single beds and 2 pull out couches. Everything was there plus we could step off the porch right onto the sandy beach. Besides the state park, this small beach front community has some of the best sand on the lake. The deepest part of the lake is right off the dock which also lends itself to some great fishing.
