Great apartment, great location.

Party of five was very comfortable. Great location within walking distance of all of the attractions we wanted to visit. Many good dining options within 10 minute walk and grocery store just around the corner! AC and lift too!

The property was great. The views of Florence were incredible. The hike up the hill was a little strenuous, but the flat and location made it worth it. It was perfect for our family of 6.

Comfortable apartment. Great location to access the points of interest. Low pressure shower in one bathroom and no shower in the second " tub" bathroom.

Close to everything

This apartment was centrally located and gave access to all of Florence. If you have a car, it is a little difficult - but that is true of all of Florence!

Amazing month in Florence

This property is just as pictured and more! The location is perfect and quiet yet just a 2 min walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The restaurants that are close by are amazing and the walk ability to everything is a bonus. Now, if taking a taxi from the airport myself and my friends both experienced this…they will not drop you off at the door. They drop you off at the top of the street and you will walk about 100m. Not a big deal unless you have more than 1 piece of luggage on a cobblestone street. I was a comedy show in the making. Also, ask for clear instructions on the lift beforehand if you want to use it to get to the apartment. You need the keys first. I would happily stay here again!

Extended Stay in Firenze

We stayed for almost three weeks in this apartment. We had friends stay with us for one week and family for the second week. The apartment is convenient for touring Florence. We walked everywhere with our furthest walk about 30 minutes. Being in the Oltrarno was especially nice since it was a quiet respite from the crowds in the center. We didn't make many dinners in the kitchen but used it for breakfast and lunches (note that only certain pots/pans work on the range top -- the blue speckled ones), also, the hot water pot wasn't working for us. The beds were comfortable. We particularly loved the views from the apartment. The elevator was a convenience after a long day of walking and for suitcases/groceries. The grocery store is very close and well stocked. We mainly ate at the restaurants near Santo Spirito which has some very good restaurants.

Good location

The apartment was comfortable for our party of five. Though it is wheelchair accessible via the small elevator, it is also located on a steep hill which was challenging for us as one person in our group was in a wheelchair. Pluses: nice views over the city, comfortable beds, washing machine, efficient kitchen, easy entry, secure. Minuses: shower needs adjustments, drying racks not a dryer. Host should note city tourist tax must be paid on page with breakdown of costs.

Great location

This is a lovely spot just off the Ponte Vecchio. I would have given this property 5 stars except there are two things to be aware of: 1) If you have a car, you need to park in one of the garages that are between a .1-.3 mile walk away. You also need to make a reservation on your own at the garage. We were not able to do this because the reservation needed a plate number. When we arrived the garage the property recommended was full. Thankfully, they were able to send us to another nearby garage. It also costs about 250 for the week. Also, while the garages are close walks, to drive between the apartment & garage is a 30-40 minute drive around Florence. 2) If you need the elevator because of mobility issues, you cannot access it to the apartment until you go up the 4 flights to get the keys. These two issues aside, this was a great place for us the stay and explore Florence from, and with those two caveats, I would strongly recommend this property for a family & friends stay in this lovely city!

Updated apartment In the heart of Florence

We got to the property but were overwhelmed the 1st night during a massive storm as the elevator that was supposed to be available was not as the renters on the second level never shut it properly so it was always stuck on their floor for hours on end every day. This cause my family of 6 to have to navigate a dark steep staircase with no lighting hoping we could find our door to our apartment without trying to mistakenly unlock someone else’s room. Our floors were dirty. We as a Rule take off our shoes in our home at the front door, so this is what is required anywhere we go. But our feet/socks were black within 30 minutes of walking around. There were painted clipped fingernails on one of the bathroom sinks. I am the only girl in our family of 6 and my nails are professionally done and not red, also the bathroom with the tub had a massive amount of dirt in it so it I wanted to take a bath I would not. It stormed pretty bad every evening, which we personally loved, but all the windows leaked and we did not like that we were strictly forbidden from touching the air and going lower than what it was set at. We had been in Italy for 6 days prior and since been on the Amalfi coast and nothing has been that way. We can have it as low as 18.0! Having 3 of the 6 of us suffer from massive asthma attacks unprovoked this is something that needs stated and was NOT upfront! Heat and Humidity are a trigger for 3 of us and I brought medication and the equipment I needed for the days and situations I was aware of. I don’t appreciate being blindsided on the day before check in with the information. This should be made prior to booking so your customer can make the best decision health wise for them or their family. It could mean a life and death situation. I’m just glad I packed enough medication to last us for a 2 month trip.

Apartamento muy céntrico y confortable

Lo mejor de este apartamento es su ubicación, si llegas en coche es un poco complicado llegar hasta la puerta debido a que la calle es estrecha y angosta por estar en pleno casco histórico pero todo no.se puede tener. En el apartamento echamos en falta algunas cosas básicas de menage pero suponemos que la dueña lo revisará en breve. Sino estaba limpio y confortable.

The property and location were perfect. Prior info on lift necessary.

We had late checkin making it necessary to have a clear explanation on how to use the private elevator. We were not told that you require the key to have the elevator stop at your floor. It wasn’t in the book either we figured it out ourselves. The kitchen has all the necessities if you want to cook, we didn’t, but would have liked a toaster.

Great stay in Florence

The location of the property is amazing with easy walks to many of the local sites. It was great to have the elevator open up to the apartment and it was very spacious. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the property.

Oltrarno gem

Nicely refurbished and very comfortable apartment on third floor (with lift) in very nice neighborhood close to sights, shops and restaurants but far enough way for sufficient peace and quiet. Also nice views from windows.

Florence Visit

Serena's apartment is in a great location to explore Florence with three very nice size bedrooms, living space and baths. Well maintained as well. Serena is extremely expedient with communications before and during our stay.

Great apartment in great neighborhood

The property was very centrally located/easy walking to everything, while still being located on a quiet street. The space was clean, bright, tastefully decorated, and all in good working order. The property manager was very responsive to any requests or concerns, and very pleasant to deal with. She even left us a nice bottle of wine, some teas, and some bathroom products. Overall, a wonderful experience.
