Las Olas se encuentra en KM 28 en la playa de Costa Azul, a pocas puertas del infame restaurante Zippers con vistas a una hermosa playa de arena blanca que se puede caminar por millas y un montón de arrecifes que lo convierte en un lugar ideal para nadar y bucear. Justo enfrente hay tres lugares de surf de fama mundial a solo un tiro de piedra. Cremalleras, The Rock & Old Mans. Ya seas un principiante o un profesional experimentado, toma tu tabla y estarás montando las olas en cuestión de minutos.
La ciudad de San José está a 5 minutos y cuenta con más de 40 galerías de arte y más de 100 restaurantes. Hay un supermercado a 3 minutos en coche y el aeropuerto está a solo 20 minutos en coche. La ciudad de Cabo San Lucas está a solo 15-20 minutos en auto (parada de autobús directamente en frente). El condominio está completamente remodelado con encimeras de granito y todos los electrodomésticos nuevos de acero inoxidable. Esta unidad se encuentra en el segundo piso, unidad de la esquina, muy privada y tranquila con una vista al mar de 180 grados. The photos showing the pool and beach view of this listing do not do it justice, it’s way better in person! Huge patio we loved to just sit out there in the morning to watch the perfect view of the sunrise. We’re early morning people with our babies :-). The two rooms are quite large, with a huge empty walk-in closet in the master we used as a sleeping space for one of our 1years old kids. The a/c worked great in all rooms, and wasn’t noisy. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. What might be a downside for some people is that the pool is in shade starting around 3:30-4, but by then we’d had enough sun for the day anyways (we were there at end of December). It’s a short 100 peso uber to La Comer for food shopping.

A Perfect Vacation

Spectacular view. Sunshine and sandy beach. Swimming pool and hot tub. Comfortable and spacious condo. The relaxing vacation with friends I craved. Way better than a crowded all inclusive resort.

The condo was a good size and the beach and pool were wonderful.

You need a car to get anywhere, as there are no sidewalks and the road is a major highway. Uber was a good choice for transportation.

Great Location

Property right in front of The Rock. Conveniently set up for people who enjoy surfing and others. Pool and common areas are well maintained and fun for everyone to enjoy a day at or by the beach. Beach front property allows you to monitor what goes on in the water. We enjoyed it!

Quiet Location on a great property

Arriving to cold beer and fresh chips and salsa was such a nice welcome! Ricks condo is quiet, corner unit with a beautiful view of the pool and the beach! Some of the units have a lot of highway noise but this is one is so quiet and nice. I loved getting up early and sipping my coffee on the balcony and enjoying the gorgeous view and watching my family surf! Large, clean, nicely decorated with comfortable beds, upgraded bathrooms and large living room. The surf locker was an extra bonus. Rick was very communicative and responded to all our questions quickly. The condo could use a few more bowls and wine glasses but otherwise it was perfect for us. Overall Las Olas property is safe and great for surfers, families and anyone really wanting to relax and enjoy Mexico. We look forward to another trip to Las Olas and hope to stay at Ricks place again! Thank you!!

Safe - fantastic location & views!

The condo is very spacious and overlooks one of the area's best beaches for swimming and surfing! Multiple surf breaks are just offshore and the beach stretches for miles. The unit comes with a convenient board locker, so no need to haul your boards upstairs. The grounds and pool patio are immaculate. The pool is very clean and the property has 3 hot tubs, so there was almost always at least 1 unoccupied. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching sunrises & sunsets. The area feels very safe as well - my teen daughter walked miles along the beach alone with no problems. We left our sliding doors & windows open 100% of the time and only locked the front door at bedtime and when we left. There are a couple of beach bars next door, so easy to grab some lunch/dinner or drinks. The location is also super convenient to restaurants and supermarkets (La Comer was amazing for morning coffee & pastries - way nicer supermarket than many in the U.S.!). Rick was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at this unit over the New Years Break. The unit was very spacious and recently had been updated. The linens and towels were all new and the unit was very clean. Upon arriving, there were chips on the counter and some beer in the fridge. My only complaint was the AC did not work the first day and the owner came and told us we had to keep all the windows and doors shut. My husband called him later that evening to let him know it was not working and he hung up on him and said he would deal with it in the morning. Thankfully one of the maintenance people on the property was able to turn on the valve in the guest bathroom and get it working for us. Overall, our experience was excellent though. We loved the beach, right past Zippers and spent a lot of days having fun out there. Loved that the kids could swim in the beach there.

Wonderful place for us

We loved that this is a condo property and not a loud resort with loudspeakers. People were very polite and we appreciated that there was quite time after 10. It was wonderful for each of us to have our own air conditioned bedrooms, and the condo supported our every need for the week. The view was spectacular, the sound of waves ever present. There was plenty of comfortable seating on the deck in and inside. For those that are concerned about sun damage, there are no umbrellas by the pool with the exception of at some tables well situated overlooking the water. However, our host provided very high quality umbrellas for use at the beach which made all the difference. Even though we could have just sat around and really enjoyed this property, when we decided to go out, we were so close to San Jose we were able to get Ubers everywhere and our transportation was so inexpensive from this well situated property. Our host was very responsive to our needs from the very beginning of the transaction to our last day, and we very much appreciated having his condo for our weeklong vacation and we were SO SAD to leave it!!

Great location but the place is not clean, bed sheets are dirty and in general the apartment is not clean.

I am a hands on landlord, and owner, I check ever rental before and after, someone leave, I make sure every light bulb works and the place is spotless before the next renter comes, we wash every sheet and bedspread before the next renter, we have used the same cleaning crew for years, and have never had anyone say the place is not clean, as you can read all of my reviews

Awesome location and great views

We loved staying here, with such easy access to the beach for surfing or hanging out. The pool and jacuzzis were perfect, right next to the building we were staying in. Parking was easy too. The unit itself was well equipped and spacious enough for the six of us. We would definitely stay here again!
