Hi there Thomas, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Regarding the gnats and flies, I'm sorry that nature wasn't working with us over your stay and bugs showed up to the summer weather in the forest. The cleaning was done roughly about a week before your stay, so naturally any bugs may have died between and I'm sorry that was there for your arrival! Had I known right upon arrival, I would have sent housekeeping to clean up the ones that were on window sills. As far as them coming during your stay, naturally that is out of my control and as mentioned, I have never had that issue arise before, so the only thing I could think of would be to close the doors, I still can't think of a better solution. But, I will look into those screens that have holes thank you, none of us have ever noticed that before! Excluding one upstairs. My sincere apologies that the housekeeping crew made the mistake of not leaving out enough towels. I can imagine the frustration, but I'm glad it was quickly resolved when as soon as I got out of meetings and received your text, I had the housekeeper there within the approximate half hour. As I'm sure you could see, the oven is brand new, (installed at the end of 21'), so I'm shocked it stopped working and I'm so glad it hasn't effected anyone else before or after you. Very bizarre, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I also have never had an issue with someone locating the dishwasher tabs located on the windowsill above sink next to dishwasher, but that is a good idea to add that to the welcome packet, thanks! As far as the stair lighting goes, I must be honest with you, that there is no intention of adjusting that, as stairs are mentioned on the listing, there is a chandelier above staircase, and about 5-8 floor lights on the staircase, exceeding the expectations of code. But that is a good heads up to people in the future, so thank you for mentioning! Thank you again Thomas and congratulations! Sorry that Namastay was not the best fit for your group.
