Magpie Meadows - Tu registro de montaña lejos de casa!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re really glad you enjoyed the views, the location, and that the home worked well for your family. It means a lot to hear that you had a great stay and that our communication helped make things smooth along the way. We truly appreciate the recommendation and would love to welcome you back to Teton Valley anytime.

Thank you for your review—we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the views, the communication, and how well the home was stocked… that’s exactly the experience we aim to deliver. At the same time, we truly take your feedback to heart. We’re always striving for a 5-star stay, and notes like yours on the bathrooms and the creaking floors and doors are helpful as we continue to improve the home. We’ll be taking a closer look at both items to see where we can make meaningful upgrades and improvements for future guests. Thanks again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again and deliver that full 5-star experience next time.

Thank you for your thoughtful review and for choosing to stay with us. We're so glad your group enjoyed the home, the spectacular Teton views, and that our team was able to provide great communication throughout your stay. We're sorry your visit coincided with the record-breaking heat wave. I've lived in Teton Valley for 26 years, and I honestly can't remember a stretch of summer weather quite like this. While the home does not currently have air conditioning (which is noted in the listing under the "Other things to note" section), we've already begun working with the homeowner to install portable A/C units while we continue evaluating a more permanent cooling solution. We also appreciate your comments regarding the furnishings and cookware. Feedback like yours is valuable, and we'll be reviewing those items with the homeowner as we continue making improvements to the home. Thank you again for your kind words, and we hope to welcome you back to Teton Valley for another stay—hopefully under more typical mountain summer conditions!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the incredible location and those unbeatable Teton views—truly hard to beat! We also appreciate your feedback regarding the mattresses and deck, and we’ll be sure to pass that along as we continue to make improvements. Hope to welcome you back for another peaceful stay in the mountains!

We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Magpie Meadows and appreciated the breathtaking views of the Tetons! It sounds like you had a fantastic time exploring the area and making memories with your family. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable vacation in the future!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear that your family enjoyed the cabin and that the views lived up to your expectations. We agree—those sunsets with the Teton backdrop are something special! We also truly appreciate your kind words about our communication and the craftsmanship of the cabin. It’s great to hear that the evening fires and peaceful surroundings made for some memorable evenings. We also appreciate your feedback on the areas we can improve. We’re looking into an upgrade for the silverware and exploring options for better fans in the absence of A/C, to ensure maximum comfort. The creaky flooring issue will be addressed as well. We’re so happy that you enjoyed the nearby amenities in Driggs and the easy drive to Jackson. We’d love to host you again and hope to make your next visit even better. Safe travels and thank you again for your thoughtful feedback!

We do apologize to John for the two issues that he had during his vacation. The door was a problem that we knew about and we had scheduled for most of the summer with our contractor. They were trying to slip it in between jobs, yet it took longer than expected. We did let John know a few days ahead of time that there was a problem with the door. Yet, we also notified him that his group could still get to the patio through the side door to enjoy the awesome views. The door was completely replaced about 2 weeks after John's visit. It is now a beautiful door that opens up to the vast expanse of the Teton mountains. John's group also visited during a time when the community was on high fire alert. Yes, Jean did visit them one evening to have them put out the fire after repeated phone calls from the neighbors. Three different neighbors had called her with serious concerns about the size of the fire and that there was even a fire going on at all. I'm not sure what was said directly to John by Jean to have them put the fire out that night (and thank you for doing so by the way). It is very common that outdoor fires are not allowed in the county for a large part of each summer. It was the height of our very short fire season and the community was in a lot of discussions about fire bans and restrictions. Most importantly, it was the neighbors who were concerned as there is high grass and sagebrush in the area. One errant spark and their homes and lives are in jeopardy. So, we do thank you for putting the fire out - in respect of the neighborhood in which you were staying. Respect from our guests goes a long way in keeping the neighborhood and community happy!
