Sólo un 15 minutos en coche a los pueblos más cercanos de Hawks Nest & Tea Gardens para tiendas, cafeterías, bares, clubes, ferry (a Nelson Bay), surf y playas de la Bahía, etc

Great retreat

We had a wonderful stay. Doug was very friendly and made sure the spa and fire was ready for us, which we enjoyed. We enjoyed relaxing in the spa and on our cabin deck!

The cabin that I stayed in was well-suited to a single person like myself or a couple wanting a quiet few days in the Port Stephens area. The only potential downside is that there wasn't any wi-fi, but mobile reception was good enough that this wasn't an issue.

Peaceful getaway

We had a lovely stay in Pindimar despite the cold and rainy weather! The property was cozy and peaceful and Doug was a delight to deal with.

beautiful stay in nature

nestled away at the side of the main property is a self sufficient cabin. All amenities needed, beautiful views over hawks nest and towards Nelson Bay. Idealic surroundings with access to a massive spa bath & BBQ facilities. Lovely hosts that were warm & welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Awesome little cabin in the bush.

Douglas was friendly. The cabin was great. Awesome views. Loved waking up to the sunrise through the sliding door. Hot tub was warm and relaxing.

Beautiful getaway

What a relaxing stay this was! Thank you Doug and Kathy for a serene weekend on gorgeous Worimi Country. Being in a hot tub under the full moon and gumtrees was an absolute highlight. Our cabin was intimate, with just enough space for everything we needed and waking up to the view on the porch was breathtaking. We had plans to go to Tea Gardens, but didn't want to leave. A special thank you to our hosts for going the extra mile in helping return some important belongings left at the property.

Great place to unwind

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Daybreaks Doug was such a great host and the outlook is incredible we spent both mornings up early watching the sunrise from our balcony, far enough out of town to avoid the hustle and bustle but a short drive to one of the most amazing beaches in Oz Jimmy’s beach Highly reccomended

Perfection perfection perfection!

Our stay at Daybreaks was nothing but perfect! Our cabin had everything you need for a very comfortable stay, it was very clean & perfectly spacious for two adults. The location is incredibly picturesque, tranquil and secluded. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi to watch the sunset! Doug & Kathy were also very welcoming and great hosts with excellent communication. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for a lovely relaxing long weekend! :)

Paradise with a view

We decided on a last minute trip to the area and came across this beautiful accommodation. We didn't even know this area existed. Cabin was basic and suited our needs but the location was out of this world. It felt very private and the views were amazing. The serenity was just wonderful. We took a spa as the sun was going down and the changing colours were beautiful. Sunrise photos taken on our 2nd morning are breathtaking. The hosts' son greeted us and we enjoyed a chat talking about the area. We had a bit of a fright the first night when we heard banging & screeching on our roof & the 2nd night we met the possum who had decided to join us on our stay. He/she was beautiful but noisy but only briefly and we knew we were experiencing a real bush holiday. What a wonderful find Daybreaks was. We will definitely be back in the future and hopefully will get to meet Doug and co. next time.

Peaceful and private cabin surrounded by nature and excellent hosts

This place is absolutely aaaaaamazing!!!! As soon as you arrive the place welcome you with the beautiful and amazing view of Port Stephens. The front of the cabin faces the view. In the morning you can seat, drink tea or coffee while the sun warms you up while watching the view and birds that come close to you. In the evening you can sit and watch the wallabies that come to eat grass while you enjoy the beautiful colors of the sunset. At night you just can seat outside with the lights off just to enjoy the sky full of stars or enjoy the great open fire that Doug and Kathy so nicely fire it up for us while having some drinks together. If you are braver than us, you can enjoy the hot spa. We preferred to use other facilities of the place instead but I am sure if it was a little bit warmer we have definitely had used it. The cabin has everything you need and what is advertised on the page and pictures. We brought our food and cooked in the cabin. There are also Coles and restaurants like 10-15 minutes away drive. Nelson Bay is 45 minutes away from here but if you prefer much less touristic and crowded and more peaceful place, we recommend you to stay around Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens area. The beach is absolutely beautiful. We recommended 100% and for sure we will come back. Thank you so much, Doug and Kathy, for all your hospitality!
