The Perfect Long Boat Key Rental

Another month long stay on Long Boat Key.Super home - perfectly situated on LBK - the home is just great for a couple, a small family or two couples. The pool is perfected and can be heated - which in March - can be a good thing.You will want for nothing - in terms of amenities and the kitchen is just super.When we return again - this is our place!Highly recommend!

Summer Retreat

This house had everything you could need or want. It Is in a beautiful neighborhood on a canal with a dock that we kept our boat on. Great restaurants nearby, and very friendly neighbors.

We loved our stay. Beautiful home and has plenty of room for guests. House manager was very responsive and efficient! Great location and easy to get into Sarasota, Lido, and Anna Maria. House is fully equipped and well-appointed!! The beaches and sun sets are truly the best!

We loved the property and the management staff and owner contact. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to coronavirus. We would love to come back and be able to enjoy an extended stay in the future. Thank you for all your help...Just beautiful!

Wonderful, restful and fun stay

Beautiful property. The owners are very easy to work with as well as communicate any issue, concerns and processes to follow. This is a very ideal and quiet location. The beach was nice, with the bluest, clearest water. The pool was a family favorite, not to mention the serenity of the canal. House is beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home. The paths on Longboat Key were perfect for jogging, walking and biking each morning. Highly recommend!

Favorite Home On Longboat Key

We have stayed at this home multiple times in the last few years. The home is on the South part of the island, which gets you to shopping and dining in minutes. Beaches and waterways are extremely close. People bringing boats for the stay the canal easy to navigate and you can to get to bigger water in minutes. Overall great house and we can't wait to get back for our next stay!! Michael A

Wonderful house and area!!

What a wonderful house and area!! Great layout of the house. You can’t beat the location! It’s only minutes to St. Armand Circle. Lots of shops and restaurants. We went several afternoons and evenings during our stay. Great pool area and a long dock to fish from. Publix was less than 3 miles up the road. It was rarely crowded like some of the others. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. We had no issues during our stay. We hope to be able to stay here again next summer!

Absolutely Perfect

We could not have been happier. Home, location, appointments and functionality were spot on. All amenities were available and working from coffee makers to pool floats and everything in between. The owners / property manager were always available for questions and checked in regularly. The neighborhood was very friendly and house is located on a quiet street - minutes from St. Armand’s Circle. Already have the house rented for 2024 just a super home! Highly recommend.

Perfect in every way!

We arrived on Super Bowl Sunday for a month long stay. It was a great start to our vacation. KC had planned for all of our anticipated needs, with all the comfort and luxuries of home. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking a big meal or making appetizers before going out to one of the many fantastic restaurants nearby. One thing we don't usually see in a vacation rental is high quality cookware and glasses. This house has beautiful glass ware and Reidel wine glasses. We took advantage the many activities available including bike riding, kayaking, paddle board, swimming and relaxing out back watching the pelicans dive for fish. We had friends from home staying a mile north from us, also on a canal. They had their boat with them and were able to drive down and pick us up for days of boating. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, just like something you'd see in a magazine. We can't wait to go back next year! Thanks for an amazing vacation!

Wonderful Location

Longboat Key is a great location to stay. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Since the house has a big boat dock, we could bring our boat, which was extremely convenient. The AC worked perfectly, and the pool was very clean. The layout of the house is ideal for a family of six and we can highly recommend it. Would always go there again.

Incredible Pet-friendly Home Away From Home

There are so many fabulous things about this property that I don’t even know where to start! The location of the house is perfect. It’s very close to Saint Armand Circle and it’s located on a canal. We met several of the neighbors during our month there and everyone was very friendly and welcoming! The outside area is great! We actually saw porpoises swimming in the canal during the day. Sitting outside in the evening is beautiful - especially with the uplighting on the trees. The interior decor is perfect for a FL home. It is beachy, very comfortable and chic. Your first impression when entering the home is ‘WOW!’ It’s amazing that the host would select a white sofa for a rental that allows dogs, but it is a great piece of furniture. The only issue is that it is so comfortable and deep that getting out of it can sometimes be a challenge :-) The communal space is large and open - great for hosting friends and family. The kitchen is updated and has everything you need. All of the TVs are smart TVs and have several subscription services so you can keep watching your favorite shows. The bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious, especially the primary. Linens and towels are good quality. A minor downside of the house is that the third bathroom is on the opposite side of the kitchen from the third bedroom. It’s just something to be aware of if you plan to have three couples in the house. If you are so inclined, the house is equipped with bikes, a kayak, pool floats and other recreational items. Having a washer and dryer is a big plus. The house manager is very responsive, but we had few reasons to contact her because the house is in such great shape. She was very good about letting us know when service people were coming to the house. Bottom line… this is probably the best VRBO we’ve visited. But hurry to get in your reservation because the house is booked far in advance. Thanks to the hosts for a great experience!

Paradise - fabulous Property

Everything about this booking was 100%. Communication prior to our trip (of which there were many failed attempts due to Covid) were dealt with amazingly. On arrival we were blown away with the property. Its superb. The decor, setting, location - all even better than appears on the site. The house is stacked with everything you could possibly need. Amazing. If I could have stayed and moved in I would have!

Excellent Property

I cannot believe I forgot to leave our review for this wonderful trip. Our family of four and our golden retriever never wanted to leave. This house is everything you could ever ask for. Beautiful, high-end finishes and the perfect location. Property owners were very friendly and extremely responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Longboat Spring Break

The property is very nice. Everything is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home. Loved being on the canal, rented a boat for our stay. Enjoyed the location, close to St. Armands, beach, north Longboat. Had a great stay!

Great Family Vacation

The home was exactly as described. It was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The outdoor area was where we spent most of our time, either swimming in the heated pool or fishing in the canal. We enjoyed just sitting on the comfortable outdoor furniture, looking at the beautiful landscaping and water views. We’ll be back next year for another two weeks.

Sarasota has been a special place for 30 years, starting with the grandparents condo in Palm-Aire. As the family grew we rented houses in St.Armands, Sarasota,The North End, Jewfish Key and Longboat Key of course.
When the time came to own our piece of island paradise we bought and restored this south Longboat Key home.

Home is in the southern section of Longboat Key (Country Club Shores) which is most desirable for easy access to St. Armand's circle shopping/eating destination as well as downtown Sarasota. Tons of fabulous restaurants all within 10 minute drive.
