My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. The layout of the house was different but enjoyable. We really liked the time we spent on the porch reading and relaxing or inside watching movies. Thank you for having what we needed available.

Cabin was just as advertised and extremely clean. The host was clear in rental requirements, and we appreciated being able to bring a family dog. Great response in communications. Enjoyed fishing off the dock at the lake, the view was amazing and the community was quiet and welcoming. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. About 30 minutes from Brevard and an easy drive to Hendersonville.

The cabin was super clean and amazing. Its a small lake but perfect for paddling around in canoes. Fishing isn't bad either. The hosts were fast to respond to all our questions. If your looking for a quiet get away, with a cool little town near by and hiking trails, waterfalls. I Highly recommend staying here.

This was a great house for our vacation! The online images are accurate and we had everything we needed for the week. Our teens enjoyed the canoes and the dock. The lake was perfect. Rosman was quaint and quiet. Brevard was about 30 minutes away. The host was responsive and very kind. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect place to unwind. The house was charming and adequate for all our needs. We spent a lot of time on the back porch enjoying the views of the lake Serene and quiet area.We hope to come back

Great prperty ina quiet setting. The ride off the beaten path is a winding dirt road. No phone calls but texting works fine for us. Peaceful setting, nice clean property, easy communication. Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful time on our getaway! The area was so quiet, and a perfect place to recharge. So much of our state is experiencing drought, so we weren't necessarily surprised to see that the lake was down somewhere around 18" to 24". The docks were all pretty much over dry land in September, but that did not stop us from canoeing and floating almost every day. I would note that the fence was really in a state of disrepair when we arrived with our dog. I believe it is up for replacement, but this was a small concern for us during our stay, mainly at night when visibility was poor. Paul was incredibly responsive prior to our check in, and at check out. We had no issues at all during our stay, and would absolutely stay there again.

Trip and stay were awesome. Hosts were fantastic. The dock pictured in the listing had been removed and we did not find out until we arrived. However it did not dampen our fun or affect our stay.We will look to book again for next year!!!

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Nice leather furniture in family room. Host was very responsive and helpful in checking in and stayed in touch to make sure everything for us was taken care of. We enjoyed the location close to Dupont and Gorges State Parks. Highly recommend. Enjoyed the view of the lake.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on a small lake. The drive from the gate to the home is on a curvy gravel road through the woods, so right away, you're entering a peaceful neighborhood. The house was clean, the furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. A lot of time was spent on the covered deck reading and watching nature. A new dock was installed. Motorized water craft is not allowed - just canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Signage in the home states to have fun outdoors but be mindful of noise so as not to disturb the other residents (i.e. no outside speakers, yelling, etc.). We appreciated that and most folks adhered to it, except for a couple of people on the other side of the lake who played a few songs loudly one day. Fortunately, that was the only time.

This lake cabin was perfect for our family. My brother was recovering from recent surgery and this place helped him a lot. Next time I am in the area, I will try to stay here again.

The cabin is pet friendly which was nice. We were disappointed that the dock was gone. The water is shallow on this end of the lake, and fishing was a challenge. They do have two canoes but we’re older and that’s something we can’t do. The home was very clean, but the kitchen is in need of a complete update also the outside fence needs to be replaced. It’s located in a beautiful area but it’s a haul to Brevard. Next time we will just go to the beach.

Mary Catherine Thank you so much for taking the time to review as any feedback is always helpful. The doc was removed a couple of weeks ago due to what we considered a liability emergency. Two people stepped on rotted wood unbeknownst to us. One of them was pregnant. There is a plan to replace the dock. We are working on that now in the meantime, we have access to the public dock by boat or car. The fence is also scheduled to be replaced we are in negotiations with the owners of the lot next-door due to property line issues, we’re not sure where the new fence is gonna go yet. We would love to have a new kitchen and are working on bids now. Sincerely, Paul

Family Getaway

What a fantastic Getaway with the Family. The cabin was everything that was described and more. This is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this cabin. Also, the owner responded in a timely manner to any questions we had.

3rd year in a row to stay there! Absolutely love it there and the dogs love the yard!!! Everything is clean and kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and small appliances...love the lake and the sunsets!!! And don't forget to see the white schools at Brevard College!

Perfect remote mountain getaway

This property was the perfect remote getaway. The house was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful and has a lot of options for hiking and other outdoor activities. Will definitely consider returning another time.

We found the cabin easily. access was good and parking adequate. The accommodations were excellent for my two daughters and my wife and i. Our 2 Bostons were happy with the large, fenced yard with room to spare for their romps. nice dock and easy access for the canoe we used. The location was excellent to visit Biltmore and several waterfalls. We wished we had more time but we left it clean and what we packed in we packed out.
