Updated ranch with great backyard pool

The house was updated and spacious. Even though the house is on a busier street it felt private and quiet inside. The backyard is an oasis and we enjoy the heated pool very much and used it almost every day. The house was well equipped and a home away from home. The location was handy to good restaurants and destinations in Sarasota.

Wonderful stay

Home was exactly depicted like advertised. It was conveniently located to many beaches. We did not have any problems during our stay & were contacted several times by management checking to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be returning.

Our Florida Trip

Great location. Close to everything. The pool was a nice feature. The welcoming cupcakes were delicious! And The beds were very comfortable. The only complaints we have were that the place was not as clean as it should have been, the guest room shower was clogged, the washing machine has mold and guck in the rubber, there were not enough towels or washcloths and it would have been nice to have a full length mirror somewhere in the house.

Winter Getaway

We’ve been going to SW Florida for over a decade near the Holiday Season. Our children our young adults now, but still love the family time together in sunny Florida with Mom, Dad, and their significant others. We were extremely happy with this home!! It was clean, comfortable, and as advertised. The pool area was fabulous and spacious. The home is super close to Siesta Key and other attractions as well as the airport. I would highly recommend renting this place to any family or group of friends looking to vacation in the the Sarasota/Siesta Key area!!

This was a very well equipped home. From Beach chairs to pool skimmer. From cookie sheets to washer dryer! I would Definitely stay here again …..don’t hesitate to book with The Cottages amazing response to me as well.

Great place

We had an amazing time during our stay. The house was very clean, cozy and welcoming. The backyard space is amazing and the coolest part - there was an outdoor bathroom/shower. Every bathroom was supplied with little sojo boxes containing a bar soap, shampoo, conditioner, make up removing wipe, and a body wash which was also great as we checked in pretty late when most stores were closed already so those were very useful too. The tablet that is installed in the kitchen has recommendations on restaurants and other places to visit and works great for communicating too as we were getting notifications there. Very close to all the beaches/downtown/shoppings and more. Great location, close to everything but far enough not to be in the chaos of the city. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the bedroom doors were louvered/vented so it feels like you have no doors - my 1.5 yr. old couldn’t fall asleep unless everyone was out of the house as our bedroom was right by the kitchen and you could hear everything like it had no door at all. Other than that - it was all great and I would definitely recommend this place and would go back again.

Great Family Vacation Home

Home was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Positives: location to beaches was great. Close enough to Siesta Key Village but far enough that you are out of chaos. Negatives: very close to busy road so it was very loud at night. Outdoor pool areas was beautiful but not screened in so mosquitoes were terrible. We had to fog the yard a few times a day which helped a little but when we ran out we couldn’t be outside.

Tropical Florida Family Vacation

Our family of 5 just returned from a wonderful stay in this property. It was the quintessential Florida home with mid-century modern style, surrounded by lush, well-maintained vegetation. The beautiful backyard with inviting pool and foliage was a true tropical oasis! Location was prime - situated in a beautiful neighborhood and just a short distance from many area attractions, restaurants, and beaches. We only wish we could've spent more time chilling out in the house or by the pool! We felt very much at home here, and will make plans to return!

Great property!

very clean, nicely decorated home, with an awesome pool and backyard area, including great outdoor covered living space adjacent to pool with a table big enough to seat 10, perfect for family/friend dinners and game nights. Pool area is just great, includes great outdoor bathroom and shower.

Tvs were messed up

We had a great time property was amazing but we had a huge issue with the T v's we wanted to watch the Green Bay game could not get it figured out called the property manager And got no response that was Saturday the game was Sunday recalled them several times during the day called them Sunday morning still no response so we had to go into town to a bar and watch the game that was a $500 day eh so we were not very happy about that then finally on Monday someone showed up super early in the morning and was there for hours Trying to figure it out Overall we had a good time but spent way too much money on that day because of the TV is

Love this house !!

We had an amazing stay at this house. It is so nice and so peaceful! We slept late everyday. Kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need. The backyard is the winner. We hung out around the pool everyday. Lots of outdoor seating for your comfort nice outside shower and toilet was a winner. It’s a tropical paradise out there loved it so much. Close to any shopping you might need to do as well. Close to siesta beach. Highly recommend this house for your next vacation!

Great Stay

Clean and orderly. I would recommend! However, I highly suggest they trim back the plants that line the road; quite dangerous to pull out of the driveway as it’s difficult to see oncoming traffic.

Beautiful home

The home is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed having the pool for the kiddos and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and spending time with family. If there is a downfall to this house it is it is not on the beach but do not let that hinder anyone from renting. We would recommend this rental to anyone and would stay again.

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing time. Everything you need for a perfect stay. From nice cookware, to linens, pool and beach toys, coolers. Everything you need. There were 2 families. 4 teenagers and they were never bored. There was a nice surprise when we got there. Not going to say what so others can be surprised.

Perfect Spring Break Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time in Siesta Key. Ventana Rosa was perfectly situated near Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota and other local hot spots. The home was super clean, beds were comfy, and outdoor space was awesome. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
