Esta hermosa casa frente al mar se encuentra en el corazón de Sarasota, a solo unos minutos de Siesta Key Beach y del centro. Se encuentra en Phillippi Creek, que desemboca en la gran bahía de Sarasota. La casa está ubicada en la exclusiva comunidad de Southgate.

¡La casa de 3 dormitorios decorada con buen gusto cuenta con una cocina y sala de estar recientemente renovadas, sala de meditación y una piscina climatizada y spa! La casa también cuenta con un amplio patio privado, terraza al aire libre y hoguera con vista a la hermosa orilla del río.

La casa fue comprada recientemente y está totalmente equipada con muebles, decoración y suministros nuevos. La casa tiene una cocina recientemente renovada, ideal para cocinar y entretener. Está completamente abastecido y fluye sin problemas hacia el comedor y la sala de estar. Echa un vistazo a la hermosa mesa de comedor antigua. Los baños también han sido recientemente renovados. Todas las habitaciones y baños tienen sábanas y toallas nuevas. La casa tiene garaje para dos autos y lavadora / secadora con lavabo.

Tan hermoso como es el hogar, el tema interior / exterior es realmente lo que hace que el hogar sea único. Desde la sala de estar, ingresa a una gran sala de meditación privada, que cuenta con un muro de escalada para niños. This place was perfect for us as a family of 4. I loved that we had space to spread out when sometimes needed. We hosted family for Christmas and had no problem making a nice meal together in the spacious kitchen. The dining table seats up to 8, so we had plenty of room for meals and playing games. Beds were comfortable, shower in master suite bathroom was great with a double shower head and lots of space. We used the pool and hot tub a lot. The hottub isnt huge, but fit four of us ok and heated up pretty quick. The kids loved playi g with a beach ball in the pool because of it being screened in. Lol. My husband used the used the space in the garage to do his workouts and I enjoyed spending time in the back room where there was lots of sun coming in through the big windows. I sat out on the deck a few times to lay out too. The backyard itself is on a pretty big slop, the online pictures are deceiving. The firepit is definitely unusable. I imagine everyone rolling down the hill. This did not affect our stay at all, but I took notice. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. We had some troubles with the door lock the first night and he was able to get someone over right away to change the batteries on it. We had no problems after that. I relayed a few things to the host that could use attention, but nothing that affected our stay. They have pool and beach stuff to use and lots of beach towels.

We had a great stay for 6 nights at this Florida property. We found it to be a very good centrally located are in Sarasota. It met all of our needs with the outdoor recreation , entertaining family. The house was well maintained and stocked with all of the necessities. We really liked the open layout of the kitchen and living area. I highly recommend!

Just perfect

The house was perfect for our needs. Very clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were heated just right and clean. The neighbor hood is quiet and secluded. It was located close to everything we wanted to see and do. Easy check in and out. We would book definitely again.

Top notch home, amazing location, will be back!

Plain and Simple I love this house, this is our fourth time staying here. We are drawn to the layout as it has a very open concept. The kitchen, living room, dining area as well as large seating area with beautiful view of Phillippi Creek and pool are all open to each other. It is well kept, super clean and has all the supplies you will need to do all of your own cooking, grilling and even has a garage full of items for the beach. Everything from kayaks, fishing poles, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, pool toys and accessories, it has everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious and perfect for a family of 5-6 people. The pool is refreshing and also well kept along with a nice hot tub. I feel like this is a perfect location as it is only a 10 minute drive to Siesta Key beach, 15 minute drive to Lido Key and about 30 minute drive to Coquina Beach, etc. The laundry room is in a perfect location for when you get home from the beach, right inside the garage, so makes things super easy and efficient. If you are looking to not stay in a condo in Siesta Key and are looking for a house with a pool, this place is it. It's in a great neighborhood in Southgate, very safe and family oriented. We have nothing but good things to say about this home and location. We are truly blessed to have stayed her as much as we have. We will be back again, hopefully next year!

Amazing Time in Sarasota

This was my first VRBO rental since 15 years, as I usually stay in hotels or resorts.But given the group size, location and time of the year I opted for it.And we loved it.Could really disconnect and relax.The pool is perfect and I used the Spa daily. Now I guess I have to buy one.The Bbq grill works great The space in and outside is prefect.Loved the showerhead in the masterbedroom showerSun from sunrise to sunset on the deck, unobstructed!Excellent contact with host, even accommodated a late checkout. Thanks Chris.If time allows will come back

Nice house, cute neighborhood

The neighborhood is super cute, and really convenient. The house is also nicely updated and featured a lot of sitting areas, large kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The home is a 1950's house, but it's updated. We had an enjoyable time on Spring Break. We avoided the crowds on Siesta and other keys by staying here, but the property was tremendously close to Siesta Key, so we enjoyed the beach and little village. Grocery store options are only a street away from this home.

Just Right!

This was by far the cleanest and most well maintained house we’ve stayed with VRBO and we’ve stay with quiet a few. If like us I’m sure you’ll have experienced showing up at a house and being so disappointed with cleanliness and description but this is not one of those. Location was fantastic. It is right in the center of everything and the property manager was always on hand with any queries. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Great house and location for family vacation

The house worked great for our family vacation. The living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai are open to each other, which created great space for our large family group. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortable. The place was even better than the photos, which is a nice thing in a VRBO. Phillippi Creek running behind the house was a real bonus. We took the kayaks out a couple times to be among the jumping fish, ibis, egrets, blue heron, and osprey. Watching the wildlife from the back deck was great, too. The location worked very well for us. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walking and jogging. Shopping along Tamiami is 5 minutes away by car. Downtown is maybe 10 minutes away and the beaches of Siesta Key about 15 minutes away. Also, the house was in good condition. The furniture was nice, the HVAC was easy to use, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, and laundry was convenient.

Great for families

We enjoyed our stay, the kids loved the pool, and I really enjoyed the back patio with view of the canal. The beds are very soft and cozy and the kitchen is well stocked for basic cooking needs. The overall place is clean, but has also been well-worn. It could use some basic fixes and simple updates. Also, I failed to read the check-in instructions before arrival and found myself on the phone with VRBO at 10:40 pm, trying to get a door code. So, be sure you contact the host prior to your arrival!

Great house, a few very minor notes

House was very clean, and the property manager lives minutes away and is very helpful. The house would be especially great for families with little kids with its big sunroom and small-kid climbing wall. We're glad we stayed here even without little ones. Other notes: Pros: Great location - 10-15 minute easy drive to two beaches, and minutes from groceries, etc. Very open, sunny house with great natural view out back House/neighborhood very quiet Furniture/kitchen/bed all clean/comfy/well stocked. Cons/Notes: Could use more/better instructions for tv/pool/pool heater No dock, so using boats only advisable during high tide (but nice area to paddle around) AC intake in family room very loud and whistles, it's surprisingly annoying...

Siesta Key

We arrived at 4pm to check in at the property to find the cleaning crew still there we could not start our vacation for another 2 hours. Then we check the pool it was dirty we had to wait for the following day for the pool to be cleaned another 1/2 day we could not use the pool. Then the master bedroom has see thru curtains so you couldn't sleep in. On the third day my son-in law received a text early in the morning to throw out the trash and garage door didn't work si we had drag the garbage through the living room. And these guys never offered if we wanted to stay a little longer or a discount for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this property at all.

excellent property, great location, and spacious house

FABULOUS location. April 2023 During our stay it was,4 adults and 2 children (2 years and almost 4 years.) Spacious house in a wonderful neighborhood. Very quiet and nice mature trees. The house has lovely rooms, loved the mattress in the master suite, and there is TV's in 2 of the bedrooms. The place had enough towels for all of us, we stayed 10 days so had to wash multiple times as one would expect. The kitchen had enough of everything, only thing I would say is that you have to be a little inventive on some things ( we used a roasting pan on the stove to cook corn on the cob because there was not a large pot but worked out perfect) Also we cooked 8 out of the 10 days of our stay to save money, and the grill was used daily- worked great. The pool and hot tub area and the screened in area we used everyday it was a blast for everyone. It is small but perfect for a cool down and the kids loved it. The outside deck was great and the canal we a super bonus. We had all kinds of wildlife (manatees, turtles, lots of birds, and fish) loved this aspect. Contact with Rudy was easy and delightful, he responded very quick to every question, very good plus. The beach is a short 10-12 minute drive away everyday was an easy journey no matter what day of the week. also a super plus but Siesta Key has free beach parking. The shops do charge a heavy price to park by them 8 dollars an hour- so please just be aware. we parked at the beach parking and walked over. Would recommend for sure.

Oversold and not a 5 star property

This property looks great in the photographs but in reality it’s not perfect nor is it a 5 star property. To begin with the kerb appeal is disappointing with a rather sad and neglected garden to the front. The driveway surface is cracked and broken in areas. On entering the property on first impressions it looks good. However this property has the potential to sleep six yet did not have enough dishes or sets of glasses to cater for 6 people. There were three glazed ceramic bowls of which one was cracked and another one had a significant chip around the rim. Only one champagne flute, some mixed glasses but no small glasses. The numbers around the dials for the hob and oven were virtually invisible. There were very little plastic plates and cups to use outside. The lighting in the en-suite is dreadful particularly over the sink where one bulb was not working. No handles on the sliding door to the en-suite or closet. The living area sofas are tired, marked and not comfortable. The patio furniture on the deck has seen better days with rips and a cigarette burn to one of the cushions. The rattan table was damaged too. The decking handrail is very rough and there are spindles missing. The beach parasol in the garage was broken and could not be used. There was no visible cool box. The beach towels are cheap and one was badly stained. The pool was not warm enough for use until 31st December despite being there a full week. There is no screening around the pool so if you have younger children this would be a concern. The outlook to the rear is very pleasant. The covered area with the climbing wall has the potential to be a great space but it was under dressed with a sofa , coffee table and a random desk and chair. With a little more thought and an injection of imagination this could be a great space to be enjoyed rather than a walk through from the master bedroom to the kitchen or to the pool and outdoor area. We selected this villa as it looked very appealing and felt paying more would be a good decision. We were left dissatisfied and disappointed with the finish, comfort and lack of attention to detail. It would be impossible to consider this 5 star property in its current condition. There are too many flaws in its presentation that need attention.
