TOO MUCH TRAFFIC

Very busy road in location. Too expensive in weekly amount charged for what we received. The front BR was horrible with the traffic noise. Would not stay at this location due to the traffic.

The house was exactly as it appears on the website. Very convenient to Charleston for dinner and sightseeing. Had a beautiful ocean view. Plenty of grocery store options close by.

2nd time renting this house!

We rented this house before. We like the location and we have no complaints at all. The coffeemaker was broken but they came and replaced it in a timely manner, and filled up the gas tank for the grill. We will rent this property again.

Great Location

This house is a great location on Folly Beach. Four of us, from 3 different states met there to have a girl's get away. The floor plan was perfect for us and the house has an ocean view. The porch was used every morning for watching the sunrise, drinking coffee, and catching up with each other. The house is also close to historical Charleston and many other sites, plus the town of Folly Beach has some great restaurants and cute little shops.

The property was advertised. The only difficulty was in accessing the front door and the electronic lock, however the property manager was on site immediately to fix the issue.

The openness of the kitchen and family room was great for all of us to be together. We liked being a little further away from the downtown traffic. Enjoyed the views of the beach and front porch except for the beach work noise.

Great Experience

Property was exactly what was written and pictured. Great ocean views with beach access within yards of the front door. Extremely clean and comfortable home. Great Getaway

This is a well maintained, clean house. I was delighted to find this house on the ocean outside of the Folly Beach city center (it was crazy crowded during Memorial Day weekend, but thinned out considerably after the holiday). This house is smaller than what I typically rent but suited our family fine. Large kitchen with comfortable great room. It was so nice to sit on the front porch (when it wasn't too windy) and watch the surfers. The back deck is nice too and you can see the lighthouse and sunset from here. I really appreciated the ease of check-in and out. Overall great time. From MyOceanRental: Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Folly Beach House

We loved this house! Right on the beach, spacious, great balconies. But there was not enough toilet paper, trash bags, etc. When paying this much for a rental, we should not have to furnish these essentials. Thank you so much for taking your time to review your stay! Beautiful relaxing beach house

Our stay at this beach house was wonderful! The house was beautiful and well maintained. We had everything we needed. Checking in and out was super easy and management kept in touch to ensure our stay was going well. The house was very cleaned and I was even able to smell the cleanliness which was so important to us during the pandemic The location of the home was amazing as well. Fantastic Stay

We loved our stay at Folly beach house. It was perfect location. however, weather was rainy first 2 days but just the peaceful location and everything accessible in house. we really felt like being home. We thank you for giving up opportunity to stay there. we would definitely recommend others and if get opportunity in future would like to stay here.

Fun Folly Beach

Great location with the beach right in front of you and two wonderful decks! Next to a pier for easy access- Enjoyed watching sunrise and moon rise! Big kitchen, plenty of communal space. Really wonderful place for cooking and watching movies. All the bedrooms are far apart so there was lots of privacy as well. We’re already thinking about our return trip!! This was our first time at Folly beach but we’re hooked!

Nice house on the beach!

Great location, great views. Could use more blankets (each bed had only a sheet and a coverlet) and more seating on the upstairs deck (only one place to sit). Kitchen nicely stocked, clean, good response time to my questions.

Lovely Beach House

Paradise at The Washout is a lovely beach house in a quiet neighborhood that is a short golf cart ride to Center Street with its restaurants and shops. The house has wonderful views of the ocean with immediate access across the street. Know that Folly Beach has 2 low AND high tides daily -- at high tide there is no beach. We had 6 people which was perfect - everyone had their own bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and there were plenty of bath towels. The washer/dryer is great to have, especially if you're there for a week. The only suggestion we have is to update the guidebook with the following: Front Door Lock: Wait 10-15 seconds for the code to activate. Otherwise, you'll think it's not working (like we did) TV: Uses 2 remotes - one for power/volume and the other for channels. We called the property management company who promptly sent someone out to show us (thanks Tripp!) Thermostat: Never figured it out. There are remotes all over the house but none seemed to adjust the temperature. It was icy cold so we just turned them off which did the trick. However, for those who stay here in the hottest months, you'll want to know how that works! The above were small things and nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the home. We rented beach chairs, towels, umbrellas (doesn't come with house) as well as corn hole which we played in the backyard - fun pastime for get-togethers! Enjoy!
