Un refugio pastoral que domina las vistas tanto del campo como de la costa, rodeado de magníficas y antiguas higueras de Morton Bay, Stony Hill Cottage es una encantadora casa de campo que se encuentra al final de un camino privado. Cuenta con un estudio independiente y se encuentra en la cima de una colina en medio de un excelente país lechero. Originalmente era una cabaña de trabajadores agrícolas en la lechería y se ha ampliado a lo largo de los años. Inaugurada a finales de marzo de 2018, la casa recientemente renovada tiene un nivel superior adicional con un enorme dormitorio principal y baño privado más estudio. Hay una amplia terraza en el piso superior con una magnífica vista de 270 grados y está a solo 5 minutos en coche de las famosas playas de Mollymook y Narrawallee. Es un lugar ideal para relajarse y descansar en verano o en invierno. A un corto paseo de la histórica ciudad de Milton, puede elegir entre actividades costeras, rurales o culturales mientras disfruta de la sensación de estar alejado del ajetreo.

Excellent Stay

The house is very comfortable and fitted out to a high standard. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. We enjoyed the semi-rural setting and especially the table-tennis table in the studio. Kate, the owner was very welcoming and made sure we were settled in. Highly recommended

Everything you could want

Amazing house, really well stocked, in a beautiful location with gorgeous rural views from every window. The log fire kept us toasty all weekend. All this just a 10 minute easy walk into Milton. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house, tastefully decorated. The master bedroom upstairs was gorgeous with magnificent views from every window. Stoney hill heaven.

We adored our stay at Kate’a property. She was an excellent host. The house is equipped with all the things you need to have an easy and relaxing stay. Not to mention how beautiful the house and property surrounds are. 2 minutes from Milton and 10 mins from Mollymook beach- it was the perfect mix of beach and country. We can’t wait to stay again

Beautiful home and location

Despite a very wet weekend, our family of 8 had a wonderful weekend in this gorgeous home in a pictureseque Milton setting. The house is really comfortable and well resourced, which just made us all feel instantly relaxed and at home. Kate, the owner, was a delight to deal with and promptly dealt with all our requests. We will definitely return!

Wonderful stay at Stony Hills in Milton

We spent 5 nights at Kate’s house. It was 8 of us, 6 adults and 2 small kids. We are used to rent properties for our holidays but this one was from far the best we ever stayed at! The house is simply beautiful, even more than in the pictures. It is very spacious, decorated with a lot of taste, the kitchen was very well equipped which we appreciated as we cook a lot. The garden is beautiful, the boys enjoyed the tennis table in the artist studio and I enjoyed my yoga sessions early morning in the gardens with the noise of the birds and the animals in the farm near the house. It is conveniently located, you can walk to Milton, it’s 10 min drive from Mollymock, and we have also taken the opportunity to explore a bit the north and south (Jervis Bay, lake Conjola and gReen Island beach, and Pretty Beach). I would return there when I have a chance and would recommend it with closed eyes! Not to mention Kate who was very friendly and helpful every time we had questions. Thanks a lot Kate for the stay! All the best Emilie and the rest of the family

Perfect house in a peaceful setting

Beautiful home with everything you could need set in a peaceful location. The owners haven't skimped on anything. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully but not fussily decorated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The home and location were absolutely stunning

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stony Hill Treetops. The house was immaculately kept and styled beautifully. Everything has been considered and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. There were beautiful landscape views from every window. We would highly recommend staying here, and hope to be back again soon.

Great weekend at Stony Hill Treetops!

Stony Hill Treetops is a beautifully appointed home. It is well maintained and obviously loved by its owners! All the bedrooms and living area were beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, serving dishes etc. It is set in a lovely garden with district views which we enjoyed from the terrace on the first floor. We had a fabulous stay in Milton and enjoyed the short walk into Milton township and to St Isidore's Restaurant for lunch. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

A slice of heaven in Milton

After a weekend at Stony Hill Treetops, I was ready to quit my job and move in for life! This is an incredibly special property in a beautiful part of Australia, perfect for a weekend getaway with a group of close friends. The property has been beautifully renovated and the owners have great taste in design. The fireplace is a nice touch in winter, all of the bedrooms are wonderful, and the master suite is something else - I’ve never seen a bedroom like it! The house is surrounded by beautiful green rolling hills, but still very close (walking distance) to the village. If you are looking for somewhere memorable for your next trip away, look no further.

A beautiful and relaxing retreat

Had such a fantastic weekend stay with my family. The house was beautifully appointed and the fireplace was perfect to keep us warm and cosy. The house boasts fabulous views and is in close proximity to to the centre of town. We will definitely return!

Tranquillity in the Treetops

We have been regulars at Stony Hill Cottage for a number of years and this was the first time since the addition of a second storey. We loved the cottage charm of the original and worried that this charm might be gone with the renovation...not even an issue! The renovation has changed a gorgeous, cosy cottage into a fantastic retreat. Comfort, elegance, tranquillity...the new Stony Hill Treetops delivers it all! This fabulous setting amongst the majestic old fig trees framing the distant ocean views, together with the rolling hillsides surrounding Milton is quite simply sublime...relaxing just comes so easily! An easy walk into town opens up many options for delicious food or just shopping for that special memento. Stony Hill Treetops...the perfect spot to recharge jaded batteries!

Beautiful spot!

My family and I had a lovely stay at Stony Hill Cottage in Milton. The cottage is beautifully furnished, and the kitchen is particularly well appointed. My kids loved the ping pong table in the studio. We also requested linen which was of excellent quality. We would definitely recommend it.

I am a painter and was drawn to this property due to it's beautiful location, surrounded by some very old and well established Morton Bay Fig trees. They are truly magnificent. The extra lure was a large and airy studio in which to paint. We have put a table tennis table in there for guests to use.

Some of my paintings can be found in the studio and the upstairs stairwellin addition to the studio. Please contact me directly if you are interested in any of the works.

This is a beautiful & charming home in a quite unique position. It's walking distance to town and a 5 minute drive to beautiful Mollymook and Narrawallee beaches. It's perched on the edge of beautiful rolling green pastures that are part of the local dairy.
