Seashore on the Sand

We had a great stay. Very relaxing. Can’t wait to stay again. One small suggestion. A couple of small patio tables for the patio would make it perfect!

If our guests are happy, we are happy. We do all we can to ensure each guest has a great stay including having someone on site daily from 8 to 4 to respond to requests. We have small tables on all of the patios so we will make sure to put that on the housekeepers' checklist so that they will not be missing in the future

Perfect location

The location can’t be beat! We looked at many options and settled on this place and so glad we did. Hearing the waves crashing on the beach and being able to walk directly out to it was perfect. Very comfortable and clean. We had an issue with one of the beds and Ed immediately responded and fixed the problem.

We love to make our guests happy. In fact that is why we have someone on site at least nine to four seven days a week so those little problems don't spoil your vacation.

Perfect

This is a perfect location, place is clean and you can’t get any closer to the beach. Requesting a garage is a must for me, nice to know you won’t be looking for a place to park once you get back to condo. Note: if you have a large truck or Hummer don’t think they will fit, I would definitely check before hand. This is our second stay here and both times were perfect, look forward to our next stay. Thank you

Thank you . We are very particular about keeping our places sparkling clean. In fact. we re-clean the windows just a few hours before the guests arrive so that they will be as perfect as possible. We love our head housekeeper Teresa and our guests do as well. We feel that Carlsbad is a unique place in southern California. We don't know of another place where you can be directly on the sand and then walk two blocks to the charming and quaint village with tons of great restaurants and shops. You can park your car and forget it. And a huge part of our business is returning guests.

Can't wait to go back!

We feel so fortunate to have found this place. First of all, the building is beautiful and amazingly well-maintained. The property managers are friendly and responsive. The unit itself was fantastic - can't beat the location and views. Right on top of the sand and a short two block walk to everything in the Village. Our extended family was in town too and would come over to our place to enjoy the perfect beach and place to view the sunset. More than enough room for our family of five with two big bedrooms and two full baths. Loved the couch - amazing for lounging with all power-reclining seats. Plenty of towels and linens, kitchen perfectly well-equipped. The only suggestion I might have for the owners has to do with the beds - not quite luxury hotel quality, so my 6'4' hubby had a hard time sleeping. They were fine for me and the kids though. Overall, a fantastic experience and I am already online trying to pick dates so I can go back and enjoy this place again!!

Truly BeachFront

This was our 5th beach vacation in 5 months. All at different beaches. We decided it was the overall best experience due to the accommodations and location to the beach we like to stay in nice places because it makes traveling manageable with 6 children ages 16 to 4. It was safe. I was never concerned for the safety of my littles. It’s 60 steps to the sand and that includes the front door to the literal sand of the beach. No roads to cross. Just a small stair well that is well lit. Great beach amenities if you need toys. But the chairs are a little battered. We brought are own. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness bc the trash wasn’t emptied when we arrived. Unfortunately that made me wonder if the property had been thoroughly cleaned. I reached out to the manager and they sent someone straight away to empty the trash for me who explained they had to use new cleaning people and they did not know where the trashcan was. It’s a logical explanation because the trashcan is in a weird location in the kitchen. Everything else seem to be imperfect condition though cleanliness wise The place supplies, a lot of towels, and lots of extra toilet paper, which is a huge plus! We went to sleep, listening to the waves every night. The bed was kind of comfortable. I’ve had recent back surgery so I need a firm bed. I’m sure for most everybody else the bed is perfect. It was enough space for our family and the three bathrooms are heavenly. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

We are also sorry about your trash can not be empty upon arrival. It is in an odd space in that unit to "hide" it and it was overlooked, but I am glad to hear we took care of it right away. Bring our only 3 bedroom unit has the most families in it by far, so we do our best to keep up with it and close every winter to update with fresh paint, carpet... and do our best to repair it through the year. You are lovely and we hope you come back year after year as most of our guests do!

Perfect vacation!

This was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The location to the sand was unmatched, the condo was flawless and clean and equipped with everything you may need. The property exceeded all expectations and we will definitely be returning!

Great stay!

We loved this place. The location and the view could not be beat. I would just recommend that they get some items for the kitchen. They need dish towels, oven mitts and more supplies for cooking in the oven. The only thing you could use in the oven was a tiny cookie sheet. There weren’t any baking pans or casserole dishes. There was also only 1 stemmed wine glass. Just a few more supplies would make the kitchen much easier to use. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Long weekend getaway

No compromises

We booked this property for our 30th wedding anniversary. We wanted a no-compromises view of the ocean and beach so that we could spend a few days daydreaming and disconnecting from the pandemic. The manager was very responsive, they allowed contactless check-in, the unit was squeaky clean and all of the windows were open to let in the fresh ocean breeze the moment we arrived. My wife and I feel like we have high standards especially for this once-in-a-lifetime anniversary, and this unit did not disappoint!

Perfect for a family Beach vacation

Beach front, view, proximity to downtown - all of it is perfect! Our only complaint is the mattresses. They are really uncomfortable and left us short on sleep and sore. Other than that we can't wait to return!

All of our mattresses are top quality #1 hotel grade, and we have never had a complaint before. We will inspect it to make sure there are no new problems. Also, we asked the guests on multiple occasions if everything was fine in the room and they said yes. We would have gladly bought a new mattress if we had known. We always go out of our way to make our guest stay with us the best possible.

Amazing place to stay in Carlsbad

This property was everything we had hoped for and more. The location was perfect, as you could walk to nearly everything in Carlsbad Village; The view is amazing! You are literally right on the beach; and Ed and Lisa were great to deal with. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Carlsbad.

Beautiful and Comfortable

The property was beautiful and well kept. The location was perfect for spending time on the beach and visiting the village. Everything about the condo was comfortable and accommodating for all ages. There isn't anything I would change. I'd definitely bring the family back again.

Thank you for the kind words. We work hard to maintain the property in top condition at all times. We also love our location that we think is unique in Southern California. We are on a beautiful beach but it is only two blocks to the quaint and charming Carlsbad Village with a great selection of restaurants and shops. We proud to have a very high percentage of guests that return. If they don't come every year and make it a family tradition, they usually come back eventually. Some people say that this is a magical place

Oceanfront Perfection

Our family of 4 (kids 15/13) had an amazing week at Seashore. We stayed in a 2bd/2ba which worked out perfectly. Short of the occasional grocery run, there was no need to leave. Surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding, miles of beach, dozens of restaurants within walking distance, and on and on. Carlsbad is a mellow town. The beach is family friendly and the location of Seashore couldn't be better. The balcony is almost better than being on the beach. The kitchen was stocked with enough to cook a few meals but going out was enjoyable too. Christine was readily available for anything questions. Couldn't have asked for a better week. We'll be back as soon as we can!
